I am really torn on this one. On the one hand, I think Interkosmos is a short but nice, well-designed experience, giving you a good feeling of the outer space while keeping the whole thing accessible. The humor is a tiny bit cringy at times, but they doesn't spoil anything.

What I didn't like is simply a series of problems I had with my headset (Reverb G2) and its controllers. At the start of the game, the left hand and the right hand are sometimes swapped, hitting a random combination of keys sometimes bring them back in order. Hitting a (virtual, this time) key by moving your hand towards it sometimes feel a bit unresponsive. But the worst problem I got (several times within less than 2 hours of play) is the total loss of the sound, with no other option than restarting the game. This has been a bit infuriating during one or two games where the captain was explaining what to do next, and I suddenly couldn't hear anything anymore and had to drop that game.

Ok, I'll give a thumbs up this time because it was still a nice experience, but this done bug in particular could be investigated.

Interkosmos is a short virtual reality experience which places you in the hot seat of a space capsule returning to Earth during the Cold War. Combining an incredibly high pressure situation with a great deal of humor, Ovid Works has crafted a truly unique, narrative-driven experience. While the game is only around 30 minutes long, it has branching storylines, two successful endings, and makes death incredibly fun with a whole host of ways for you to perish. It’s highly interactive, it makes incredibly satisfying clicky noises when pressing buttons and flipping switches, and it’s over the top, colorful, retro graphics make it a unique and fun experience. Climb into the Interkosmos cockpit, make history, and show the world that Major Tom has nothing on you.
