  • Summary: Indie Game Battle is a multiplayer fighting game for up to 8 players inspired by the Super Smash Bros series. However, IGB features indie characters instead, and the game is open for all suggestions!

My current go-to example as to why Steam Greenlight is a poor decision.
General lack of polish in all areas alongside half-baked and half-implemented ideas really make me struggle to play Indie Game Battle- even in a casual setting. This is to say nothing of the extremely wonky and unbalanced characters with an almost nonexistent approach to any sort of meta game. While attempting to be a celebration of the independent games scene, Indie Game Battle serves as a painstaking reminder of everything I hated about Super Smash Bros Brawl.
The unprofessional actions of this company have been detailed a number of times before, so I won't repeat them, but I do suggest you look into it should you consider buying one of their products: attempted doxxing, abusive practices, and unprofessional actions when dealing with fellow game developers barely scratches the surface of the myriad of accusations I've seen levied at this company, making me very hesitant to purchase their games.

Many characters don't even have a full moveset, and even if they did, there's going to be maybe two or three characters you even recognize, and even THEN, they're probably going to be off-model. The game is very sluggish, and the keyboard controls are beyond bad (escape key for start? really?) Expand
