LEVEL (Czech Republic)Sep 29, 2017Give this game a chance if you do not expect much. Especially if you have played Dark Souls trilogy, Salt & Sanctuary, Nioh and Bloodborne. Then it makes sense to check Immortal Planet too. [Issue#278]

Games Master UKSep 7, 2017It's a Soulslike, sure, but likely due to the isometric angle and the simple controls it requires, a repetitive one that offers little beyond a surface-level challenge. [Oct 2017, p.80]

Aug 28, 2017Immortal Planet is a fine game but the biggest complaint I have are the controls, which make it more frustrating than it actually is. It has strategic combat and slow progression with rage quitting moments as well as drawing inspiration from the Souls genre. If you're fine with the limited control customisation then do check out this game for a never ending hack and slash adventure.
