    The gameplay is very promising and has potential for a lot of depth but the game is screaming for graphics improvement. Once you put enough buildings on it, everything is blending together and it is hard to understand what is what and how things are connected.

    I have always liked these types of civilization based games. To be clear it isn't like civilization but much more unique. I was pleasently surprised by gameplay and while some of the instructions left me guessing I thought that the game is bringing something very unique to the plate.

    Great sci-fi economic simulation with logic puzzle background and an interesting colony buildup game.

    You found your first base for your company on a calm planet, build your basic food supply. Then you go for basic economy, like lumber camp or construction supply business, not to forget energy supply.     You found your first base for your company on a calm planet, build your basic food supply. Then you go for basic economy, like lumber camp or construction supply business, not to forget energy supply. Each sector is enhancable by research, while you further advance in new branches to get better diversification.

    The more you get your basics running, the more you can expand your base into city or mega city. If you finish some requests from your company you may be offered to found new base camps on other continents...probably to exploit rare materials, which you can sell to trade ships. Each step is connected to others, so you have a complex network of coherences dependent toward the others.

    Can't say which aspect of the game (simulation/puzzle/buildup) is leading, but the mix is fun and charming the player long-term. It is still early access, while I guess they are already beyond and bringing in new stuff every now and then to provide players a real challenge.

    After you managed some small planets you are requested to take over more complex orders or rescue missions. Anyhow you start your business from scratch on every planet, you are able to hang on to your researched fields. Actually I'm on a rescue mission for a failed colony one of my 'collegues' has ruined with off-shore oil-platforms aso. Very challenging. :-)

    Slow, limited, grindy city builder. Hard thumbs down for all the FAKE WOKE narative pushed in this game. The game wasn't anything to write home about the graphics are cartoonish and all buildings look kind of similar. The game becomes so flustered and chaotic as time goes on your screen late game has so many notifications that it just becomes overwhelming and not fun. Should have stayed inSlow, limited, grindy city builder. Hard thumbs down for all the FAKE WOKE narative pushed in this game.     There's a very unique game concept here with original ideas. Well, you need to give this game some time to unfold the complexity of the connections between all game elements, the aspects of trading, crafting and the interactions between the factions in competition mode. If you're not interested in that there's no need to play a bit of the tutorial and then voting it down before refunding.There's a very unique game concept here with original ideas.     Simplistic, cookie cutter game, copied from the base genre. Not funny, conceptually empty and false 'utopian' vision. Does work, but get anything else in the genre.

    I’d like to applaud Imagine Earth for what it’s attempted, which is to create a city-builder that stresses the importance of a self-sustainable civilization despite a seemingly never-ending supply of Earth-like planets. Fostering a future that asks humanity to consider its carbon impact before its capital gains is one we’ll need to see if we’re to thrive in the 22nd century and beyond, and it’s great to see a game where such a simulation can play out positively. Although the characters can feel a bit robotic and the peripheral mechanics could use better explanations, Imagine Earth is absolutely worth adding to any city-builder fan’s library, and that goes doubly so if Alpha Centauri and Civilization IV were your jam.

    Imagine Earth is a great strategy title with a meaningful underlying message. With original mechanics regarding natural resources, the health of your planet, and overpopulation, the game offers an immersive and thought-provoking experience that will satisfy both veteran strategy game fans and newbies alike. Its gorgeous visuals and story will be a great fit for anyone who enjoys city builders and strategy titles and is keen to try out something new.

    Ecology is a delicate issue and not always dealt with properly in the videogame field. Imagine Earth even makes it one of the cornerstones of all its gameplay, on which it builds a layered and fun game.
