    Fantastic PC port with some new polish and features (nothing game changing). Plenty of options for configuring the game, hud, screen layout, and resolution. They really thought this through when porting to PC, and it puts away the stereotype that all Japanese game developers are crap at making PC games.

    Finally a good shootemup. It has been a long time I played such games. The idea to change polarities is genious and makes the gameplay complex. The bosses are interesting, the graphics good, just like the music. What I liked the most is the fact, that when you died, you play with the same amount of power like before.     But...
    This game is ridiculous difficult, even on easy mode. So you have to memorise everything. Or you play for free, that means, you have unlimited lives. In addition it is very short, you just need 25 minutes to play through. 8/10 for me    … Expand

    The graphics are minimalists but Ikaruga isn't about aesthetics.
    It is about a pure and extremely demanding gameplay and getting up the leaderboard.

    I love it and keep coming back to it. A little bit everyday without fail.

    An audiovisual marvel and a gem of video games. Control and the difficulty of the game give a touch of defiance and music makes every moment is unique.

    Une référence du genre !
    Un excellent titre à un prix abordable.
    Il est beau, les contrôles sont précis, il est exigeant, et l'OST est top (à mon goût).
    Il est aussi la référence des shmups avec "polarité", un bon gameplay original, et toujours aussi agréable et beau.
