The design choice to make a math-based adventure game rather than puzzles is refreshing. I got a good grasp of what non-euclidean spaces are like by simple curiosity and nice visuals. The minigames also teach mathematical properties nicely.
The main shortcomings are long-winded dialogue and not much verticality in the levels.

The perfect walker-puzzle in unusual geometry. It's a pity that average design and a lot of boring dialogues. Even without VR, my head starts to hurt after 40 minutes)
It would be cool to see such an action game.

Hyperbolica was a game I felt like I needed to play from the moment I saw the pitch. I've eagerly awaited this game for a while now, and it's so damn painful to say I found it to really not have much more than its pitch. Once you've seen the world do its thing for 20 minutes, the game has very little else to really offer. Compared to other games that focus on exploring some absurd space, IHyperbolica was a game I felt like I needed to play from the moment I saw the pitch.
