Nov 7, 2021the game means that it is constantly replayed due to specially added bugs, for example, non-registration of hits / hits, instant death of enemies and the like that makes the player freeze in the game and spend all his nerves, unplayable and nasty sight

May 29, 2014I don't think even a little bit before i've played this game that massacre can be really funny and enjoyable. You don't afraid to die and this is the whole game's idea.
Not a brilliant story, no good graphics(maybe this made the game original) but really amazing soundtracks with tasty game play. You need to give a try. -

Mar 18, 2014Mad game, I love it. The animals masks, bloody idea. The characters are psychos. The dialogues at the start: "I'm here to show you how to kill people". I recommend this game. It feels dangerous and It's completely insane.

May 17, 2017Annoying, infuriating, addictive but above all else bloody good fun; Hotline Miami may cause you to hurl your pad across the room in frustration but you will almost certainly go scampering back after it seconds later to have another go.

Feb 11, 2020Hotline Miami delivers a fast-paced, unforgiving, arcade style experience that is quite enjoyable. There are masks which change how your character does his killing. The music is good but all electronic. Short game but sweet. Good for speedrunning.
Watch a video of the gameplay to get a feel for it.
Bought for $2.50 on sale, played 7 hours, got half the achievements. Recommended. -
Oct 6, 2015It is both a mix of frustration, as well as fun. The soundtrack is the main reason that I got into this game, with its 80s like mix of techno is amazing. The story is awesome, with its brutal history and its dark and depressing tone. The point system and masks are unique, and it almost seems like Smash TV, but a much more enjoyable and deep experience than Smash TV could be.

Mar 24, 2015Excellently executes everything it is trying to achieve. Delivering a frustratingly gory retro fun fest that kicks your ass over and over again and still has you coming back for more.
-
Mar 6, 2014One of the best games I've every played, be it indie or not. Breathtaking soundtrack, amazing level design, mind-f*ing story line (still not sure if I've understood it).
I hope they can create a couple more leves of this. I would be eager to buy it. -

Nov 9, 2015An amazing game, much better than its sequel. It's not too long and not too short, it's not too hard and it's not too easy. Thr story is much better and is not that convoluted. If you haven't played it than you should.

Mar 15, 2015Hotline Miami is one of the most fun games that I have ever played. I can say that this game is worth buying at full price. The soundtrack is Amazing, the game is really hard and it's just great fun to run around and kill people.
9/10 -
Jul 16, 2017Madness under the masks of endless and merciless violence, Hotline Miami is a shockingly bloody top-down shooter that rarely shows its aesthetic aspect over the color of crimson.
-
Jun 24, 2015Awesome music, graphics and gameplay, but you may find it a bit hard all through the game but you will feel satisfied once you reached the ending! I wonder how Hotline Miami 2 will be?

May 2, 2015Hotline Miami is a game different from others, but manages to keep me very well connected PC and a very pleasant way .

Mar 30, 2021Insanley overhyped. hoping for a cool tripped out 80's Miami semi pulp fiction vibe? Get ready to hear the same trashy modern edm song pumped at you over and over as you try to fight your way though clunky controls and cheap levels that then start to randomize as you start to figure them out.

PC Master (Greece)Feb 6, 2013From the get-go, Miami’s presentation has a unique style, with vivid colors, generous amounts of post-process filtering and a stunning soundtrack (you will just let the game play on, only to hear the tracks). But at the same time, all notions of continuous fast-paced action gameplay disappear. Hotline Miami is essentially a top-down stealth game, that rewards the player with imaginative (and quite violent) kill animations. [January 2013]
