    This is a slick Harry Potter themed action RPG. If you are not a Potter-head, this might only be an 8 out of 10 for you.

    The people review-bombing this because they don't like JKR are idiots, SMH...

    This game triggers the purple-haired mentally unstable freaks and degenerates at certain forum that cannot be named.
    All the more reason to rate it 10. The game is absolutely incredible.

    The game is crazy good. It has a great level of detail, the sound is good and the open world is vast. I have 0 performance problems usually around 120 fps.

    The amazing detail and love of the studio for this game is a real welcome in this day and age. I'm taking this game very slow, enjoying every hall and stairs in Hogwarts. I am totally not familiar with Harry Potter movies but enjoying the game for its atmosphere. Could use a small PC fix for performance though but its not as broken as Forspoken, that's for sure.     The open World Potter game you have been waiting for. I got the deluxe version of the game and have played a good deal now. The world is so detailed and magical. All the moving paintings and staircases you expect. Combat is fun too! Hard mode has enough of a challenge to keep this Elden Ring fan happy. yes the game does have some performance issues.     I have put 20 hours into the game so far, and this has been so much fun!
    Avalanche did an amazing job creating a believable, detail rich and compelling world that would amaze any HP fan like me, who went through all the books and the movies. The game in its core is discrete open world RPG, with fast and fun combat mechanics and many many activities to do. There are clearly compromises to    I have put 20 hours into the game so far, and this has been so much fun!
    Avalanche did an amazing job creating a believable, detail rich and compelling world that would amaze any HP fan like me, who went through all the books and the movies. The game in its core is discrete open world RPG, with fast and fun combat mechanics and many many activities to do. There are clearly compromises to how the game looks, most likely due to its cross gen nature, but nothing that really makes the game feel 'old' or bad to watch. It's really really enjoyable, especially if you have a good PC.
    Audio wise, they did a great job, even if I heard a few instances where the mix could have been better tuned. Overall, soundtrack and SFX are top quality!
    Some day 1 performance issues and bugs do not affect the final user quality perception in my opinion, resulting in this being currently not only a fan favourite but definitely in a good spot for Game of the Year!

    To Avalanche: keep up the amazing work, take a few weeks to rest and enjoy the enormous work you have done, and then please work on improving the performance, fixing bugs and bringing us more and more content on this amazing world!    … Expand

    Love the game so far, the music, the acting, the many places you can explore, sure the open world is a bit barren but this isnt new york city, the combat is simple yet satisfying, I only wish there where more options for character customization like a height slider, or more options in general, I hope this game will be modeable, cant wait to see more.

    Great game, ok story, lots to explore, lots to do. I'd give it an 8 really, cuz there's really nothing revolutionary about this game aside from finally existing a good HP world game where you can fully explore Hogwarts done right. But to counter those 0 score nonsense reviews I'll go with 10

    Hogwarts Legacy on PC is absolutely beautiful. It has terrific graphics performance, mechanics, voice acting, story, and music. So far, I have experienced very few glitches, save an occasional lag. The care and passion that went into its production is obvious. In my opinion Hogwarts Legacy is a masterpiece!

    This is Game of The Year.. The spellcasting is amazing, the broom work is so awesome and the creatures hands down best ever. The questing is the best and the outfits are so awesome. Did I mention you get your own room to customize in Hogswarts? This is clearly Game of the Year

    The atmosphere of the game draws you in very quickly. You can play as if there is no end in the game, and although the challenges are a fun and generous reward system, they also have quite entertaining puzzles. You can also see lots of easter eggs from    Hogwarts, which always adorned my dreams as a child, gave me the opportunity to realise my dream of being a student, albeit virtually.

    This game really brings back the Harry Potter vibes for me
    but it does so much more. You don't need to be a Potter fan
    to enjoy this gem! Get ready for at least 80hrs or more of game play fun!

    This the best game I've played in years. I've about 15 hours in, I can't put it down. I'm so glad it's great with all the hype it had I didn't want it to fail. A few nitpicks, like add remapping of target lock switch, option to pause cutscreens, the castle map is a bit confusing but apart from that so good so far.

    An amazing game. If you're a Potterhead this is a must-play, and it's good enough to stand on its own merits as a really good open world action rpg. Thanks to the developers for actually putting love and care into their game, it shows!

    Not only that, the PC version was absolutely created with love. 0 issues, a full array of PC specific settings, and a fantastic integration of mouse and KB with    The ultimate Potterverse open-world RPG experience, this game just gets everything right. Great writing, extremely amazing combat, fun side activities, living breathing world and a lot of things to do to occupy your time.

    Not only that, the PC version was absolutely created with love. 0 issues, a full array of PC specific settings, and a fantastic integration of mouse and KB with keybindings. This game just checks all the right boxes and one if not THE best and smoothest PC launch I've had in years.

    I haven't been this immersed in a game since The Witcher 3 and I haven't seen a AAA game this smooth either. Don't sleep on this.    … Expand

    The only thing I can say negatively about Hogwarts Legacy is that there is some performance issues on PC. But the game is still very playable even with these issues. Other than that the game is simply awesome.

    I haven't had this much fun playing a single player video game since "Jedi Fallen Order" years ago. I am absolutely losing myself in this game and there's so much to do. It feels amazing, it's accessible, it's fun, it's well-written. I love it. I can't recommend it enough.

    It's so much fun, it feels like you're really at Hogwarts. And the graphics are amazing. I've played 11 hours in two workdays lol. Some performance bugs right now but they'll probably be fixed soon.

    Was surprised at how much fun this game turned out to be. If you have no interest in the books/movies then you might want to pass on this, but for fans of the books/movies the game is great. The locations and graphics are amazing. Other than occasional stutters the game ran flawlessly.

    The success of Hogwarts Legacy clearly shows that good sales and warm feedback from players are ensured not so much by the gameplay thought out to the smallest detail but by carefully reproducing the right atmosphere. But this is already a subtle moment, akin to real magic, and here the nameless developers of Avalanche Software succeeded.

    Hogwarts Legacy is an altogether excellent port of Wizarding World to PC screens. It proudly belongs to the Young Adult fiction genre, which may make immersion difficult for older gamers.
