    This game triggers the purple-haired mentally unstable freaks and degenerates at certain forum that cannot be named.
    All the more reason to rate it 10. The game is absolutely incredible.

    The game is crazy good. It has a great level of detail, the sound is good and the open world is vast. I have 0 performance problems usually around 120 fps.

    The amazing detail and love of the studio for this game is a real welcome in this day and age. I'm taking this game very slow, enjoying every hall and stairs in Hogwarts. I am totally not familiar with Harry Potter movies but enjoying the game for its atmosphere. Could use a small PC fix for performance though but its not as broken as Forspoken, that's for sure.     The open World Potter game you have been waiting for. I got the deluxe version of the game and have played a good deal now. The world is so detailed and magical. All the moving paintings and staircases you expect. Combat is fun too! Hard mode has enough of a challenge to keep this Elden Ring fan happy. yes the game does have some performance issues.     I have put 20 hours into the game so far, and this has been so much fun!
    Avalanche did an amazing job creating a believable, detail rich and compelling world that would amaze any HP fan like me, who went through all the books and the movies. The game in its core is discrete open world RPG, with fast and fun combat mechanics and many many activities to do. The game in its core is discrete open world RPG, with fast and fun combat mechanics and many many activities to do. There are clearly compromises to how the game looks, most likely due to its cross gen nature, but nothing that really makes the game feel 'old' or bad to watch. It's really really enjoyable, especially if you have a good PC.
    Audio wise, they did a great job, even if I heard a few instances where the mix could have been better tuned. Overall, soundtrack and SFX are top quality!
    Some day 1 performance issues and bugs do not affect the final user quality perception in my opinion, resulting in this being currently not only a fan favourite but definitely in a good spot for Game of the Year!

    To Avalanche: keep up the amazing work, take a few weeks to rest and enjoy the enormous work you have done, and then please work on improving the performance, fixing bugs and bringing us more and more content on this amazing world!    … Expand

    Love the game so far, the music, the acting, the many places you can explore, sure the open world is a bit barren but this isnt new york city, the combat is simple yet satisfying, I only wish there where more options for character customization like a height slider, or more options in general, I hope this game will be modeable, cant wait to see more.

    Great game, ok story, lots to explore, lots to do. I'd give it an 8 really, cuz there's really nothing revolutionary about this game aside from finally existing a good HP world game where you can fully explore Hogwarts done right. But to counter those 0 score nonsense reviews I'll go with 10

    Hogwarts Legacy on PC is absolutely beautiful. It has terrific graphics performance, mechanics, voice acting, story, and music. So far, I have experienced very few glitches, save an occasional lag. The care and passion that went into its production is obvious. In my opinion Hogwarts Legacy is a masterpiece!

    This is Game of The Year.. The spellcasting is amazing, the broom work is so awesome and the creatures hands down best ever. The questing is the best and the outfits are so awesome. Did I mention you get your own room to customize in Hogswarts? This is clearly Game of the Year

    The atmosphere of the game draws you in very quickly. You can play as if there is no end in the game, and although the challenges are a fun and generous reward system, they also have quite entertaining puzzles.     but it does so much more. You don't need to be a Potter fan
    to enjoy this gem! Get ready for at least 80hrs or more of game play fun!

    This the best game I've played in years. I've about 15 hours in, I can't put it down. I'm so glad it's great with all the hype it had I didn't want it to fail. A few nitpicks, like add remapping of target lock switch, option to pause cutscreens, the castle map is a bit confusing but apart from that so good so far.

    An amazing game. If you're a Potterhead this is a must-play, and it's good enough to stand on its own merits as a really good open world action rpg. Thanks to the developers for actually putting love and care into their game, it shows!

    The only thing I can say negatively about Hogwarts Legacy is that there is some performance issues on PC. But the game is still very playable even with these issues. Other than that the game is simply awesome.

    I haven't had this much fun playing a single player video game since "Jedi Fallen Order" years ago. I am absolutely losing myself in this game and there's so much to do. It feels amazing, it's accessible, it's fun, it's well-written. I love it. I can't recommend it enough.

    It's so much fun, it feels like you're really at Hogwarts. And the graphics are amazing. I've played 11 hours in two workdays lol. Some performance bugs right now but they'll probably be fixed soon.

    Was surprised at how much fun this game turned out to be. If you have no interest in the books/movies then you might want to pass on this, but for fans of the books/movies the game is great. The locations and graphics are amazing. Other than occasional stutters the game ran flawlessly.

    I've only watched the 3 movies (started the first one last week) so don't know much about the universe but I still really enjoy the game to the point I already got about 10 hours in within 2 days of release.

    Normally I despise magic systems, this magic combat is however enjoyable!     Normally I despise magic systems, this magic combat is however enjoyable! I love being able to disarm an enemy and use the disarmed weapon with another ability to deal even more damage, feels epic! I play on Hard mode and have to say the challenge still feels fair and I actually get a thrill out of fighting, not many games can do hard mode well but I have to say it really just feels like the devs paid attention to balancing modes outside of normal mode as well.

    This is the only game next to Cyberpunk 2077 where I actually got immersed in the world and started exploring, doing little side content and side quests without really rushing main quests. The world-building is great, puzzles are fun but get repetitive as there are a lot of the same ones.

    Leveling is also not done like most RPGs, you actually HAVE to explore the world to level, it's great design really.

    It's also very great to see this game does not have microtransactions or booster-type things. You pay for the game and you get the content, no stupid grinding to entice you to pay for an xp booster.    … Expand

    Los puntos destacables que encuentro hasta ahora (16 horas de juego) son: - Exploración. Es un mundo bastante grande, con paisajes fantásticos y un nivel de detalle    A pesar de no ser fan de la saga de Harry Potter y por lo tanto no disfrutar de la nostalgia que despierta encontrar guiños y referencias en el juego, estoy disfrutando mucho la experiencia. Juegazo sin lugar a dudas.

    Los puntos destacables que encuentro hasta ahora (16 horas de juego) son:

    - Exploración. Es un mundo bastante grande, con paisajes fantásticos y un nivel de detalle hermoso. Todos los escenarios son bastante interactivos y tiene puzles muy interesantes. Hay criaturas interesantes para derrotar durante la exploración y lugares secretos para descubrir. Realmente es inmersivo y la música acompaña muy bien todos estos momentos.

    - Misiones. Como no-fan de la saga, no estaba especialmente interesada en escuchar una historia extensa para cada misión. Y no tuve ese problema. Tiene la correcta cantidad de dialogo para interesarme en realizarlas, pero no tan extenso como para tentarme a skipperlos. Las clases, cinemáticas, y misiones son muy concretas e interesantes.

    - Combate. Encuentro el combate muy original y sinceramente me costó un par de horas acostumbrarme. Pero muy satisfactorio. Resulta muy divertido aprender los hechizos y que estos sean útiles. Te permite elegir el approach y realmente me gustó.

    - Si tuviera que buscar algún punto negativo, diría que me resulta molesta la voz de las llamas Flu cada vez que me aproximo. Diciendo los mismos 3 diálogos repetitivos. Hay muchos puntos para desbloquear y la verdad me cansa a la larga los 3 mismos diálogos.
    - También el hechizo protego, en la Q, personalmente me resultó incómodo. Lo cambie para la E.
    - Y por último, me frustró un poco al inicio encontrar cofres que no pude abrir porque no he aprendido ciertos hechizos.
    Pero no creo que sean puntos decisivos para el juego, solo mi preferencia personal.

    Es objetivamente un juegazo, interesante y divertido. Cómprenlo, pero comprueben que puedan correrlo primero.    … Expand

    Beautiful, captivating and absorbing game. I play on PC and it runs great. FPS most of the time is about 100. If it dip it goes down to 80fps which is still great.

    Ridiculously detailed graphics, very pretty. Seems to run great on my 1080ti. Even though there's a lot of dialog so far I don't find myself skipping it.

    edit: Reminds me of Witcher 3, the thrill of being able to explore a ridiculously detailed virtual world. top game of 2023 by a mile. edit2: The chore/training quests are a little too slow for my tastes, install the all-spells    Ridiculously detailed graphics, very pretty. Просто нет слов, чтобы описать все мое удивление и радость от происходящего в игре, на каждом углу что-то происходит, ты можешь до всего дотронутся, шикарная игра, РЕКОМЕНДУЮ ВСЕМ, особенно если ты фанат Гарри    Абалденная игра!!!!

    This game is a perfect 10 for me. Only issue I have is rarely the frame rate will dip into the teens but a quick wand cast of revelio and it seems to go back up 99% of the time. That little non impacting issue doesn’t warrant a 9 for me. Im 20 hours in and it doesn’t feel like I’m running out of anything to do or getting bored in the slightest. Usually by now or sooner I am already boredThis game is a perfect 10 for me.     It has all the little magical comical stuff, that you enjoyed in the books!
    The fight system is great! The castle is huge! 16 hours in, and still haven't seen all the the castle has to offer!

    For grown ups, it is not harmfull! For kids, it can be a transgender trojan horse with the character creator, and the in game NPC trans character! So be advised, and watch out for your child!    … Expand

    Complete next-gen experience, I'm looking forward to more of these in the future. This game brings all the nostalgia for Harry Potter fans. It's worth playing, with stunning graphics and an open world filled with millions of things to do. A sequel would be excellent.

    Игра просто шикарная. Купил на всех платформа - PS5, Xbox, PC только для того что бы поддержать авторов. Я принципиально против что бы ЛГБТ лезли в мою жизнь, что бы они диктовали разработчикам какие игры они должны делать, я против сцен однополой любви в играх, которые я играю. Почему меня и моих детей заставляют это смотреть? Я в таком случае хочу что бы на играх писали что есть сценыИгра просто шикарная.     I’ve experienced 15h of game play so far. Minimal spoilers ahead: HL is simply a nostalgic game, with an enchanting ambience and quite captivating story. A must for longtime fans of the series, no matter the age.

    You can get lost in the story for hours. There’s a great number of side quests, with variety involving fetching, brewing potions, flying challenges, defeating a number of enemies    I’ve experienced 15h of game play so far. Minimal spoilers ahead: HL is simply a nostalgic game, with an enchanting ambience and quite captivating story. A must for longtime fans of the series, no matter the age.

    You can get lost in the story for hours. There’s a great number of side quests, with variety involving fetching, brewing potions, flying challenges, defeating a number of enemies - including with specific spells or items.

    The NPCs, in emphasis the companions and professors, are relatable with very interesting backstories and tidbits of information.
    Classes are FUN! I wish we were able to attend more classes, or that they’d be more consistent time wise.

    The map is huge, with a lot of exploration. You can unlock landmarks regarding location, enemies, beasts etc. by completing quests or just using a simple revealing spell.

    The visuals are beautiful, but the performance is not quite up to the game overall quality. In my case, my pc is between the minimum and recommended specs. I believe they’ll release a path to reparo and optimize the gameplay. Yet, even with hiccups and slight FPS drops, I give this game a 9.5/10.    … Expand

    So far, Hogwarts Legacy has been an amazing adventure. I'm in love with the details, the soundtrack, references, the world in general.
    I just hope they fix as soon as possible the performance issue on PC.

    I'm glad that this game came out in spite of, and even the agenda makes the game unique in its own way, uniqueness such that it is against those whom the game holds with two hands, nice. The plot is super, the graphics are super, the atmosphere is super a hundred times, take it, and don't think.

    It's absolutely incredible. For anyone who grew up with this franchise and wanted to immerse themselves in Hogwarts, this game is a dream come true. Originally, I hadn't planned on buying the game at release, but the wave of story spoilers on social media was a jumpstart for me. I bit the bullet and paid full price and could not be happier.     What a BLAST this game is wow! Been a long time since a game left me with big fat smiles on my face. Everything about is simply amazing - the world, the atmosphere, the sounds, the soundtrack, the characters, the freedom man I could go on and on. Only minor issues I have is that I would’ve loved to dive underwater and meet the Sirens and even though I don’t care much about Quidditch IWhat a BLAST this game is wow!     This game is incredible, so much fun stuff to do the combat is amazing. Been playing for about 10h, I’m not even a big fan of Harry Potter but still I can’t stop playing. I know there have been complaints about fps drops luckily I’ve haven’t experienced that.

    It has flaws but it’s the Harry Potter gaming experience I’ve been waiting for for years. It’s a very solid RPG experience and the Hogwarts castle is by far the most beautiful, ginormous and interesting building I’ve ever seen in a game.

    Everything a potter fan could have asked for. Wonderful open world filled with the magical elements we hoped/loved, it's a teal pleasure to walk in the rooms and corridors of Hogwarts and watch all the details programmers have put in. GOTY !

    One of the most stunning game i ever saw! It's so well made with lots of love for details.

    I do NOT support all the things JK rowling did, but the game devs did a very well job with the game and the credit should be given to them!

    I love this game so much, been a fan of hp franchise since childhood. Thank you for making this. I just don't like 1 thing that common rooms feel empty at night, and like nobody is sleeping at the common rooms, and you can't sleep there at all, immersion isn't great there.     Really enjoyable combat and location exploring, especially while flying on broom above beautiful forests, rivers etc. Story is ok. In my opinion a little bit too many dialogues and because of this game after time is a little bit boring but after finished this game I can tell that was good experience.     Solid, performs better than expected. Haven’t encountered any bugs personally. Engaging gameplay, good combat, interesting characters. Graphically very good with a ton of assets that makes each area feel unique. Only complaints are many NPCs with no interaction (a one liner is better than nothing), and low enemy diversity (maybe it picks up near the end?).     I absolutely love this game. While I would not call myself a "Potterhead", this universe was huge part of my growing up and this game is everything I wished for back then when I was a dummy kid.
    The world is beautiful, Hogwarts are as puzzling and mysterious as they should, characters are great and very well voice acted. I enjoy open world activities a lot and I love how everything is    I absolutely love this game.     Despite some optimization issues on windows, this game is beautiful and runs like a dream (rarely dips below 120) on 1440p ultra RT with my 4090 and 7950x. Pristine open world, incredibly detailed and expansive, and combat is amazing. The quintessential Harry Potter game. Like Jedi Fallen Order for Star Wars or Insomniac Spider-man for, well, Spider-man.     But, broomstick flight is off, controls are really bad, left stick for left/right and right stick for up/down, who thought of this? :P

    The success of Hogwarts Legacy clearly shows that good sales and warm feedback from players are ensured not so much by the gameplay thought out to the smallest detail but by carefully reproducing the right atmosphere. But this is already a subtle moment, akin to real magic, and here the nameless developers of Avalanche Software succeeded.

    Hogwarts Legacy is an altogether excellent port of Wizarding World to PC screens. It proudly belongs to the Young Adult fiction genre, which may make immersion difficult for older gamers.
