    As much as I loved the other games of the series, this one is too unoriginal for my tastes. A few of the levels are very well done, such as the "Meat King

    Great successor to the previous Silent Assaisin game. The core game is still the same but with slightly better graphics and new locations.

    I liked the third part much less than the second and the first. Almost everything is the same as in the previous parts. The levels became darker, the plot was largely repeated.

    There is a feeling that the writers ran out of ideas and decided to release the same thing, only in an updated wrapper.

    Kind of a remake of first game with some new levels. I remember people being disappointed by it but it's still great game I think.

    ОБЩЕЕ - разработчики придали контрактам новый тон, абсолютно изменив её визуально и стилистически. Насколько мне известно, многим это пришлось не по вкусу, но я считаю что мрачная атмосфера очень даже подходит для мира 47го.
    ЗАДАНИЯ - игра балует большим количество разнообразных мрачных миссий от вечеринки поехавших извращенцем на мясокомбинате у мясного короля, до    Вот это то что надо!

    СЮЖЕТ - очередная ложка дёгтя для фанатов серии, хотя я считаю что выглядит всё вполне сносно. По сути почти весь сюжет состоит в том, что нас ведут по нарративу лихорадочных воспоминаний 47го в обёртке сюрра. Для понимания того, что происходит в настоящем, игроку преподносят лишь отрывками, в итоге всё сводится к намёку на ожидание следующей части игры. Конкретно вот жирный приквел "Blood Money" получился.
    ТЕХНИЧЕСКИ - особых графических толчков относительно "silent assassin" не произошло, улучшения совсем незначительные. Разве что из-за новых визуальных эффектов, таких как дождь и ночь практически в каждой миссии, игра действительно может показаться красивее предыдущей.
    Вариативность прохождения некоторых миссий была значительно расширена, но их лишь несколько, многие задания остались скудны на возможности.
    МИНУСЫ - эта часть мне настолько понравилась, что какие-то минусы выделить стало для меня трудной задачей, но всё же я не могу упустить ту же бедноту на вариативность некоторых миссий. Ну и ещё мне не понравилось отсутствие возможности выбирать снаряжение перед заданием, серьёзно, зачем все эти оружия которые нам дают за достижение бесшумного убийцы?    … Expand

    Hitman: Contracts is a very interesting Hitman game when compared to the other ones. This is easily the darkest one and has a pretty chilling atmosphere compared to the rest of the games, with Hitman more vulnerable than in other games. Especially the first couple levels (dealing with a mental asylum and cannibalism) leave a very strong impression. I replayed the game about a year ago,Hitman: Contracts is a very interesting Hitman game when compared to the other ones. This is easily the darkest one and has a pretty chilling atmosphere compared to the rest of the games, with Hitman more vulnerable than in other games. Especially the first couple levels (dealing with a mental asylum and cannibalism) leave a very strong impression. I replayed the game about a year ago, having initially experienced it during my early childhood. The game holds up really well and is still fun to run through, as it (like other Hitman games) has different ways for you to go about beating each given level. It also does a good job polishing the game a little more than the installment preceding it, that being Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. Contracts sometimes seems to be forgotten when talking about Hitman, but it really is a game people (especially Hitman fans) should give a proper run through, it is well worth the experience.… Expand

    The second Hitman game I've played. I think it's an improvement of Hitman 2 SA and remake of Hitman agent 47. The feature is always rainy night during the missions.

    The best one from the Series!
    The physics are Brilliant , (one reason for me finishing this game 15 times so far).
    The soundtrack it's very good. It's a dark atmosphere. Guns are well made , maybe too good recoil. The shooting is so satisfying. The levels from Traditions of Trade (7) to Lee Hong Assassination (11) are just the Remastered version of the levels from Hitman Codename 47,    The best one from the Series!

    It's a dark atmosphere.
    Guns are well made , maybe too good recoil.
    The shooting is so satisfying.
    The levels from Traditions of Trade (7) to Lee Hong Assassination (11) are just the Remastered version of the levels from Hitman Codename 47, Tho some of them more simplistic or with more details.
    It is also known for the Secret Ghost in the Hotel.

    There should have been more levels or fan made levels, or more games with this type of physics.    … Expand

    Сегодня вы конечно вряд ли будете играть в третий Хитман, в силу наличия новых частей похождений лысого. Но по тем временам, мне кажется, было вполне неплохо. Графон шагнул чуточку вперёд, по сравнению с предыдущей частью.     The third game in the Hitman series this game has a much darker tone to it than the other games
    Hitman games before it. You can truly explore the dark underworld of a contract killer.

    A nice Hitman game.

    You have a lot of solution to a lot of situation a thing i like, the mechanics are good however the story suffers from a lot of pacing issues and being not complete.
    The first chapters are so good actually its near the end where the game feels rushed and starts to lose its track.
    Enjoyable game.

На 2004 год движок хоть и вытягивал обилие тогдашних новомодных спецэффектов, но графика уже тогда была не самой лучшей. Отдельное спасибо разработчикам за расширенную вариативность устранения цели и доведенную до ума "шкалу подозрения". Музыка от того же Йеспера Кюда заслуживает отдельной похвалы.     HITMAN CONTRACTS is just as good as the second game, it doesn't improve on anything its really HITMAN 2 with different missions.

    My favourite in the Hitman series, due to the dark and gloomy atmosphere, a bit unusual, but perfectly fitting soundtrack and one the best designed levels in the whole franchise.

    No trae nada nuevo a la saga, misma jugabilidad aunque un poco más simplificada que Silent Assassin; muchas del las misiones del juego son remakes del Codename 47; la historia no es importante en este juego ya que se basa mucho en flashbacks, y aún así es un juego totalmente disfrutable y entretenido con una ambientación mucho más obscura y turbia del Agente 47.

    Играл и полностью прошёл игру ещё в детстве, вот решил поиграть вновь. Был немного разочарован.
    Я не знаю, как можно пройти миссию идеально, не посмотрев прохождение или не пройдя эту миссию минимум 1 раз. Естественно я помнил сами миссии, но не помнил как их проходит. Вообщем меня хватило на 3 миссии и я как-то забил.
    Из плюсов: + Ностальгия + Музыка + Первые 4 миссии очень    Играл и полностью прошёл игру ещё в детстве, вот решил поиграть вновь. Был немного разочарован.
    Я не знаю, как можно пройти миссию идеально, не посмотрев прохождение или не пройдя эту миссию минимум 1 раз. Естественно я помнил сами миссии, но не помнил как их проходит. Вообщем меня хватило на 3 миссии и я как-то забил.
    Из плюсов:
    + Ностальгия
    + Музыка
    + Первые 4 миссии очень интересные, потом уже интерес постепенно спадает.
    + Неплохие кат-сцены, но очень короткие и в малом кол-ве.
    Минусы:
    - Враги. У них не работает боковое зрение, они глуховаты, туповаты.
    - Угасающий интерес к игре. Пройдя 3 миссии, я пошёл смотреть прохождение, что доставляло мне больше удовольствия, чем моё прохождение. Возможно - это из-за того, что я проходил игру раньше, не знаю. Но повторюсь, что 4 миссия очень хороша, а далее миссии слабее.
    Вообщем начало очень бодрое, а далее интерес упал.
    Спорно получилось. Но начало пройти советую, дальше уже видно будет.    … Expand

    A sequel to the great Hitman series. Stealth is somewhat less rewarded here, and you may find yourself just shooting all enemies because it's easier. Other than that, the levels are as interesting as in the original.

    - Bad: Repetitive

    Good game but i expected better. Great concept and good stealth. Mediocre AI and repetitive gameplay

    In hitman 2 achieving Silent Assassin rank was often harder than other "methods" (a bunch of times it was the easier but well...), in Hitman: Contracts it's all about knowing where your costumes/weapons are, after that it's a piece of cake, and this is bad because there is no challenge. I just took a screenshot of a small unguarded room with tough costume, sniper rifle and remote bomb inside... this total lack of realism doesn't encourage you to continue, actually it does exactly the opposite.

    As wrote before Hitman: Contracts features half brand new missions and half "Codename 47" remake ones. It is disappointing to see that original "Hitman: Codename 47" missions were actually extremely more complex and involved a lot more "puzzle-solving" than "Hitman: Contracts" ones where whole parts have been stripped out like it was nothing.
    Not to mention that there is no plot in this game, it's just meaningless flashbacks and such.

    Gameplay aside, graphics and sound/music are at "Hitman: Silent Assassin" level or maybe even less detailed, which means fairly good but at least 2 years behind.

    So, to recap, the idea of "porting" the best "Hitman: Codename 47" missions with the brand-new Hitman 2 mechanics was extremely nice, but the overall realization of the game/missions was really not good.

    Recommended only if you're not a die-hard Hitman series fan, otherwise just buy "Hitman: Silent Assassin" or even Hitman: Codename 47" instead.    … Expand

    From the story angle alone Hitman: Contracts is a worthy addition to the series, and will particularly entertain fans of the franchise who’ve played both the predecessors. That said it’s certainly time for some innovation.
