Summary:
Hired Death is played in top-down perspective, not unlike Alien Swarm. However, compared to the latter, the game is less nervous and more based on stealth and tactics like, for example, Rainbow Six or Jagged Alliance 2. The gameplay relies heavily on cooperation between players; some actions can only be performed by two or more players (for example one player designating a target by laser, the second one initiating a Hunter-Killer drone attack). For attacking heavily defended enemy positions, synchronization between players is key.
