    Developer and Xbox gets props for Gamepass drop and art style but after hour it got repetitive and boring. I had to put it down and went back to Monster Hunter Rise

    Hi-Fi Rush a copy and paste ryhythm combat game that's been done countless times before nothing new here. Some cared for the sounds and music and it is a rhythm but its a rhythm game that's been done many times before and done better by others. The game kinda ran laggy for me on my Xbox Series S and it being a rhythm game not good! They should able to fix the lag but fixed or not when iHi-Fi Rush a copy and paste ryhythm combat game that's been done countless times before nothing new here. The game kinda ran laggy for me on my Xbox Series S and it being a rhythm game not good! They should able to fix the lag but fixed or not when i put time into the game it was a problem. This game for me was no more than Game Pass filler that I wouldn't recommend it even in the 5 bin at Game Stop or anywhere else. Huge disappointment for Microsoft Zinnimax cartoony game they must do better.… Expand

    Very boring tbh. Decided to give it a shot, after seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews. What a chore to sit through, just mashing a button in sync with a little circle indicator on screen.

    Basic story, childish humor, most of the music is so generic that it doesn't inspire me to keep the rhythm. I spent the game annoyed and consciously counting the beat in my head trying to press buttons on time. There is no drive here for me. The only positive thing about the game is several story cutscenes that are well produced. I love good rhythm games, this is not one of them.

    I don't think there's ever been a more mid-game, $30 is the smart price, but this game is not a 10, it is not a GoTY contender, and it isn't anything special or memorable, by this time next month, no one will be talking about it because the game has meh replayability. The hype for this game is a lie, it's a 7 at best, but after chapter 7's mediocre self and all the unnecessary hype, it'sI don't think there's ever been a more mid-game, $30 is the smart price, but this game is not a 10, it is not a GoTY contender, and it isn't anything special or memorable, by this time next month, no one will be talking about it because the game has meh replayability.     Can’t get past the tutorial. The beat matching system is broken. Needs a skip button.

    This game is what the AA-AAA videogames industry has been sorely missing for decades - a fun, contained, self-closing adventure that lasts 10 hours but can entertain for much longer, with incredibly well researched art and design, original and funny. Give me 1 hi-fi rush a year, not 1 Zelda or starfield every 10 years. GOTY 2023 in January, no question.

    combat is innovative and fun as it added rhythm game playing into the action game fighting. Other than this, it was hard for me to find another place the game did exceptional - storyline is boring and predictable, main characters lack depth, platform design just okay

    Arte bonita e gameplay bastante fluída e divertida porém o estilo ritmo não me agradou e em tempos de DMC 5 ou Bayonetta 3 que eleveram o gênero Hack'n Slash HI-FI deixa a desejar

    Está muy bien al principio, muy divertido, hasta que se quedan sin ideas a la mitad del juegos y empiezan a reutilizar mecánicas una y otra vez. De lo más aburrido y repetitivo que he jugado nunca.

    It's pretty nice and feels very-very responsive. Overall, one of the best rhythm games. However, this pop version of Hellsinger is not my cup of tea: too plain.

    Keeping up with the beat is tiring and missing it just feels awful, like your controller is dropping inputs. Looks great and it seems like a lot of effort was put into it but it's just not my thing.

    A game that steals from everyone including jet set radio and devil may cry. Most unoriginal title of the year with none of the depth. The cringe dialogue is the nail in the coffin.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. - Visuals: Beautiful. Vibrant. Easily the best part of the game.
    The cartoon vibe is really fun to look at.
    Looked insane on my 32" 2k HDR monitor.
    The whole world breathing and vibing to your beat is something that I've only seen before on like LSD I think.
    It adds a lot to the game.
    My only problem here is the visual clutter that gets out of hand really easy.
    9/10
    - Plot: meh. I got a feeling like it's targeted towards kids, but the adult oriented jokes and the workplace setting makes me feel they tried a one size fits all approach.
    The progression is uneventful and predictable. You know right away who's the good guys and who's the bad guys.
    Overall the plot could be way better if they had more time to develop it.
    The so called "rebels" are so milquetoast that they're scared to even imply that the corporation is evil.
    You can definitely feel Bethesda's boot being licked hard.
    The pro corporate "we just need better corporations" propaganda this game is trying to sell was kinda vomit inducing, especially coming from a corpo like Bethesda.
    3/10
    - Characters: they're fun and quirky, all dressed in futuristic beautiful outfits and rock robotic enhancements.
    Protagonist is kinda generic but grows on you.
    Peppermint is cute, macaron is adorable, 808 adorable, cnmn is kinda funny.
    The villains are quirky and super fun. I loved Zanzo (Jojo villain) and Rekka most.
    I loved the banter and jokes.
    One character I hated.
    Mf Korsica. WTF.
    Who tf though that giving an anime girl a deep voice Scottish accent would be a good idea?
    She's boring, one dimensional and a real sore for your ears.
    Really useless character.
    She reminds me of Sirona Ryan from Hogwarts Legacy - with both the devs tried to force a feminine look on a character who's voice doesn't fit.

    - Technical: game ran at a perfect 165fps in 2k. Smooth as butter. 0 stutters.
    Inputs worked perfectly
    I saw people complain about the cutscenes but that's how animation works.
    Some health crates bugged out and didn't react to me hitting them.
    Overall perfect technical performance as far as modern PC games go.
    - Music: oh boy.
    This is supposed to be a music game?
    This was lousy.
    I saw someone describe it as corporate-core rock and I fully agree.
    I wish there were mods to switch these tracks with my own, because that stuff was forgettable, repetitive and gave me a headache.
    Same song playing for 30 minutes plus is bound to do that.
    All same rhythm and bpm pretty much, leads to a boring and headache inducing ost

    - Gameplay loop: fun for the first couple stages.
    I liked the tutorials and additions (unlike other people), but I hated the need to use assistants in the platforming.
    Then it gets tedious really quick and makes you feel trapped.
    The combos you buy matter very little, as there's not really much of a window to use any of them when you're constantly locked into parries and dodges.
    Very disappointing.
    The rhythm part also sucked, because the player will hit regardless of missing, and there's no option of creating combos by using more complex rhythms.
    You will be punished for trying to hit 1/8ths and 1/16ths.
    I cheesed the game so easy by doing a "health gain" build.
    Essentially I bought the health tank and all upgrades, and put healing efficacy and parry heals for the chips.
    I became immortal.
    Boring.
    The platforming was easy and not as annoying as people say it is. 5/10. - Conclusion: so much missed potential. What's most depressing is how much hype there is surrounding this game. It's depressing because the standard is so low right now for video games, that a complete game is considered a masterpiece. Overall, this game is short and fun which makes is easy to ignore it's faults. 6/10. Bonus for the fun visuals.    … Expand

    Worth about $5 or the cost of those mobile android games you pay a little money, no more than that. Framerate is janky, graphics are poor. Content is extremely light. Save your money

    A mitad de camino en el mundo de los juegos de ritmo, se hace muy repetitivo, esta bien para pasar un rato pero sus 10 horas son muy monótonas.

    Robots, humans and cyborgs look beautiful and believable. The environments are wonderfully detailed and cartoonish. The sound design is of course brilliant, as it is one of the cornerstones of the whole concept. In addition to original music, the game features famous band names such as Nine Inch Nails, The Black Keys and The Prodigy. [Issue#325]

    Like other rhythm games, what starts as frantic button-mashing turns into rewarding jam sessions. As you learn to time your strikes to the beat, you'll face an escalating range of robot foes that fight back (also on tempo, of course). It's a dance paired with an amazing soundtrack, and — funky as it sounds — I promise, it works.
