    I think this is where Hearthstone expansions cycle started going downhill. All the previous expansions had something special and exciting going for them. Not so much this one. I still like the slightly mysterious atmosphere of The Witchwood, but Monster Hunt was basically a less exciting reskin of dungeon runs from Kobolds and Catacombs and with the exception of odd and even decks, not soI think this is where Hearthstone expansions cycle started going downhill. All the previous expansions had something special and exciting going for them. Not so much this one. I still like the slightly mysterious atmosphere of The Witchwood, but Monster Hunt was basically a less exciting reskin of dungeon runs from Kobolds and Catacombs and with the exception of odd and even decks, not so many new cards had a huge impact on the game. After years of playing Hearthstone this was the first time that I actually stopped playing for a few months which speaks for itself. 6/10… Expand

    I believe the Witchwood is one of the expansions that offers the highest level of fun. If you're playing Hearthstone for fun, you'll find plenty of deck building options in Witchwood and that's absolutely great. However, when it comes to competitive gameplay, Witchwood is not that powerful as other expansions.

    Play and enjoy the Monster Hunt mode, but stick to the Arena and Tavern Brawls when playing against others if you don't want to open your wallet. I still enjoy playing this game, but the busted meta means I'm enjoying playing against other people less and less.

    ​Blizzard offers an update with some new, not so original, features that add more fuel to Heartstone. Probably the less engaging expansion so far.
