First off i would really love for the maker of this game to show me where exactly in the book does harry, ron and hermione run through a seedy, run down building site constantly fighting snatchers and oh yeah, the odd dementor or womping willow, because to my knowledge it never happens! I am only half way through the game and i think i am really going to struggle finishing it because all the game has consisted of up untill this point is fighting, fighting, sneaking past people under the invisibility cloak and more fighting. If i had wanted to play a fighting game i would have played some sort of soldier gun game not harry potter. This game had the potential to be something really special but so far it just hasnt lived up to that. I sincerely hope that part two is better than this one !… Expand

    What a waste of my time. This is the worst game of Harry Potter I've ever seen. Prisoner of Azkaban is 10000 times better than this piece of crap. Bad storyline, terrible boring gameplay, just spam left button and run, you can even leave behind all the enemies and just keep running. Scenarios repeat at least 10 times every stage, first in one way, then in the other way around, and then theWhat a waste of my time. This is the worst game of Harry Potter I've ever seen. Gimme my money back...!". Seriously, even Voldemort in the first game Philosopher's Stone, with its falling columns, and the mirror trick, had way more strategy than this piece of ***. Don't buy it.     This is soo bad that you actually want to burn it or flush it down your toilet! f''k this **** it is a f''king disgrace to everyone who actually love Harry Potter, like myself, and when i as a harry potter fan can't even enjoy it, you know it's a f''king disaster! avoid at all costs, even if you got it for cristmas from your parents, seriously i'd rather use it as fuel or something!!

    I understood the decision of this game but it didn't translate very well at all! Feels like a worse version of Call of Duty but with spells. Boring missions dragged out combat scenarios and the overall mediocre quality of this game. You can tell that it was pushed out too soon without a clear thought of what the developers wanted with this game.

    Поттер - мальчик, который стал в экшен с элементами стелса.

    Игра при быстром прохождении проходится за 3-4 часа. Почему быстром? Потому что геймплей максимально уныл и скучен, 80 процентов времени это нескончаемые перестрелки палочками с пожирателями смерти и егирями, которых Поттер валит на лево и направо сотнями, если не тысячами... А стелс миссии сплошная духота. При всем    Поттер - мальчик, который стал в экшен с элементами стелса.

    Игра при быстром прохождении проходится за 3-4 часа. Почему быстром? Потому что геймплей максимально уныл и скучен, 80 процентов времени это нескончаемые перестрелки палочками с пожирателями смерти и егирями, которых Поттер валит на лево и направо сотнями, если не тысячами... А стелс миссии сплошная духота.

    При всем разнообразии заклинаний из них юзабельны 3-4 штуки, остальные же малоэффективны или вообще бесполезны - игра спокойно проходится стартовым "остолбиней".

    Сюжет повторяет события фильма, но вносит свои изменения в повествование, причем нелепые - например идти за гоблином и учеником Хогвартса, что бы подслушать их разговор, пробираясь сквозь тонны егерей и пожирателей смерти, которые их не трогают. WTF?

    Дополнительные (обязательные) миссии тоже добавляют своей нелепости к месту, да и не блещут разнообразием, спаси "заложников", да переживи волны атак болванчиков.

    Лвл дизайн просто мрак, неоднократно повторяются как в "доп" миссиях, так и в основных, а самое увлекательное - это когда в сюжетных миссиях одну локацию надо пробежать два раза, вперед и назад...

    В общем кромешное уныние, которое скорее хочется пробежать под мантией невидимкой.

This instalment in the EA series involves actual 1st person interaction whereas up until now all Harry did was run around Hogwarts, make potions and collect cards. If you have read the series you will be amazed as i was to see how accurate the story timeline of the game actually is. A lot of strategy andHALLOWED BE THY POTTER! Truly a spectacle and a treat to all Harry Potter gaming fans! This instalment in the EA series involves actual 1st person interaction whereas up until now all Harry did was run around Hogwarts, make potions and collect cards. If you have read the series you will be amazed as i was to see how accurate the story timeline of the game actually is. A lot of strategy and creativity literally come into play when defeating death eaters, snatchers and all the magical monsters of the woods. If you, like me can experience this game on a 27" full HD monitor with an ATI Radeon HD series GPU then you will know that you can finally compare this game to the highest ranking, graphics intensive games on the current market, which is a lot to say for EA since they never worried to much about the High Definition gaming environment. Overall, i give this game an 9/10, purely from a HP fans perspective but as a games tester with an objective approach i give it 6/10 for story, 8/10 for the environments, 9.5/10 for the realistic action packed sequences and a healthy 8/10 for the general dark atmosphere of the game in terms of movies, menus etc. Final Comment: Buy the game, do the fancy 3D thingy mabobby with the cover online with a webcam and murder a good nights sleep with this phenomenal addition to the HP arsenal because as of yet, it truly is the best game in its class.     Repetitive at some points during the game, but also new way to design a FPS-like Harry Potter game. It would always be difficult to adapt the first part of a book/movie such as Deathly Hallows. Therefore I think this is a good game, for what it tries to achieve, but could aspire to do better and more with the source material it had.

    Its ok at first. It gets insanely repetitive and rather poor at times. Graphicly it looks fine. The gameplay is pretty basic and its annoying to cycle through spells. Its pretty disapointing.

    First Person Shooter, this is the phrase you will think all the time. This game can replace wands for some assault guns and should be the same. Sadly with the need of story telling and playtime, there is a LOT of filler repetitive battles. Plus some minor bugs in my experience.

    No entiendo como una empresa como EA junto con un potencial tan alto como la saga de Harry Potter pudieron hacer un juego simplemente tan pesimo... Fuera de LEGO Harry Potter y los clásicos de PS1, no han podido sacar un buen producto de algo con tanto potencial como HP...
    Pésimos controles, bugs, HUD molesto, gráficos mediocres y molestos, jugabilidad repetitiva, aburrida y tediosa... Y    No entiendo como una empresa como EA junto con un potencial tan alto como la saga de Harry Potter pudieron hacer un juego simplemente tan pesimo... Fuera de LEGO Harry Potter y los clásicos de PS1, no han podido sacar un buen producto de algo con tanto potencial como HP...

    Было довольно занимательно, но уже точно не Гарри Поттер, а какой-то посредственный шутер.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Да... Что можно сказать про этот огрызок я не знаю, всё сказано было до меня, но я попробую.
    Начнём с плюсов:
    1. Интересный саундтрек.
    Всё плюсы закончились, теперь приступим к минусам:
    1. Бои или перестрелки до жути однообразные, на максимальной сложности если можно пробежать противников лучше их пробегать.
    2. Локации однообразные (вы будете бегать несколько раз например по одному и тому же лесу).
    3. Диалоги писал пьяный дед который спит на лавочке где-то посреди города. Правда на русском с них только кринжу и ловить.
    4. Пользоваться всеми заклинаниями не нужно, игру можно пройти использую лишь остолбеней (только по сюжету придётся пару раз обязательно использовать другое заклинание и зелья).
    5. Зелья... Это отдельный вид искусства. Они нужны просто для вида. И для пикси.
    6. Меж сюжетные миссии. Лучше бы их не было. Игра бы потеряла всего лишь минут 50 - 1 час геймплея. Они до жути скучные и одинаковые.
    7. Графика... Тут остановимся по подробнее.
    Она на уровне ордена феникса, в некоторых моментах и хуже (хотя игре уже 22 года), а этот огрызок 2010 года это страшно.
    Противники прогружаются почти вплотную, хотя на тот момент были очень красивые и интересные игры типа метро 2033 или 2-ой мафии. Другие игры сделанные по фильмам типо Трансформеры: Битва за Кибертрон или Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.
    Игре как будто не хватило времени и разработчиков постоянно подгоняли.
    Не знаю как там другие версии, но пк версия в этом плане слишком плоха.
    8. ИИ: "Хорош". Я понимаю, что это тупо линейный шутер, но всё таки. Сравнивая с другим большим количеством игр здесь чуствуется сырость. Они стоят на месте иногда двигаются, а ты только и должен их поливать заклинаниями. В Принце-Полукровке и то дуэли выглядели интереснее и живее, хоть тактика и была такая же. Так же у противников нет разнообразия. вы будете встречать 5-6 однообразных егерей и пожирателей смерти, выполняющих одни и те же действия. И так всю игру...
    Итог: ПОЖАЛУЙСТА не тратьте своё время на этот жалкий кусок дерьма. В фильме показывались их переживания, эмоции, трудности с которыми они столкнулись, боязнь сделал шаг и т.д., а тут из них сделали машин для убийства, которым не страшно ничего.
    1 из 10 за 1 хорошую песню в саундтреке.    … Expand
