    Happy Game
    Cute and Creepy
    Happy game is a little over 2 hour long point and click puzzle adventure game, and trust me I hate point and click adventure games almost more than anybody, so that tells you a lot when I say I actually really enjoyed my time with this one… This game is weird, here you play as a kid going through a series of nightmares, the game consists of you clicking on the    Happy Game

    Happy game is a little over 2 hour long point and click puzzle adventure game, and trust me I hate point and click adventure games almost more than anybody, so that tells you a lot when I say I actually really enjoyed my time with this one…
    This game is weird, here you play as a kid going through a series of nightmares, the game consists of you clicking on the screen and tugging on things to progress, no weird combing items stuff here…
    youre go through cute and colorful to dark twisted creepy worlds, trying to rescue your stuffed bunny, your ball, or your dog…
    I don’t want to show too much of the game so Ill keep this review short and sweet, this is a really unique quick 2 hour experience worth checking out.

    An atmospheric and creepy adventure game / experience.

    Good: - graphics style is great. It's mostly done in shades of black and red. Animations are excellent. - excellent sound and voices. Together with gfx these make a great creepy atmosphere So-so: - puzzles are rather casual. This is probably good for mobile players (the game has an iOS version) but to me as a hardcore PC gamer    An atmospheric and creepy adventure game / experience.

    Good:

    - excellent sound and voices. Together with gfx these make a great creepy atmosphere

    So-so:
    - puzzles are rather casual. This is probably good for mobile players (the game has an iOS version) but to me as a hardcore PC gamer it sometimes didn't even feel like a game but rather as a linear "experience"
    - you just move left-to-right and because of that lack a feel of actually exploring anything or even progressing. Instead, it's a sequence of meaningless scenes and you don't really care much when or where this ends.

    Bad:
    - (nitpicking) they should have allowed control of the character with WASD and arrow keys

    Overall, it's a linear artistic experience-type of game, in the setting of child's nightmares. It's definitely worth a playthrough. Just don't expect much depth here: it's more about the look and feel than about logic or mechanics.    … Expand

    Happy Game, další počin od Českého studia Amanita Design (Samorost, Machniarium, Botanicula). Popis této hry v jednoduchosti? Absurdně unikátní vizuál, který je tak nějak už typický pro toto studio. Spolu s úplně stejně laděnou hudbou.
    Hrajeme za malého chlapce, kterému se zdají noční můry. Vše v nočních můrách je správně šílené, narušující a drsné. Jak to ve snech bývá. Často jsem si    Happy Game, další počin od Českého studia Amanita Design (Samorost, Machniarium, Botanicula). Popis této hry v jednoduchosti? Absurdně unikátní vizuál, který je tak nějak už typický pro toto studio. Spolu s úplně stejně laděnou hudbou.

Takže tento aspekt chválím. Je to opravdu taková snová sonda do jedné dětský mysli. Určitě spousta výjevů má hlubší smysl.
    Hru dohrajete za dvě až tři hodiny. Záleží, zda jste na herní styl Amanity zvyklí. Obecně jsem k žádnému záseku nedošel. Většinou po nějaké chvilce se řešení našlo. Ovládání je opět klasické klikání na interaktivní věci, popotahování myši apod.
    Parádní jednohubka s pěkně zvráceným vizuálem, doprovázená stejně podobnou hudbou. Co to vše ve vás zanechá, je a jen pouze na vás.    … Expand

    It's unfortunate that I don't like this game more.
    Amanita is one of my beloved game companies. I adore Machinarium and Botanicula, and just recently played through the Samorost series. So, seeing this game and playing it, I was so excited... and frankly, I was disappointed by the experience.

    Amanita is one of my beloved game companies. I adore Machinarium and Botanicula, and just recently played through the Samorost series. So, seeing this game and playing it, I was so excited... and frankly, I was disappointed by the experience.
    The stylistic choices aren't without merit. I was surprised that Amanita pulled off a horror aesthetic as well as they did (to be fair, their other games had horror elements as well). Although, this game isn't necessarily scary, it just has a horror theme. I'd say this game is moreso a dream-like than a horror game, if that makes sense.
    Anyways, one thing I found disappointing was the simplicity of the puzzles. The puzzle elements in their previous games were, admittedly, frustrating at times. But this is a cornerstone of the point-and-click genre! So, to see how easy this game is, that only leaves us to judge it on its style.
    It's just a shame to experience this game that I highly anticipated, and be so thoroughly underwhelmed.    … Expand

    i have been playing videogame from atari ( above 30 years ) & i dont enjoy new games. cuz most them are same. just high graphic
    but this game? this game is amazing & creative
    i have never seen a dark game like this
    i really enjoyed it
    make sure play it D:
    this game deserve 100 not 81 meta

    A game with a very deep plot, which cannot be figured out the first time. The visual part of the game is very good, I personally liked everything. There are creepy moments in the game, but this is done to bring the atmosphere. I advise you to go through, it will take 2-3 hours

    A quite crazy, entertaining and psychedelic adventure. I highly recommend it if you want to play something weird or new. Especially if you like the point and click genre.

    A short, beautiful, wonderful-sounding nightmare, which is the most game by Amanita in the last few years and titles. Tested on myself and relatives.

    While the puzzle design is quite basic, the freaky atmosphere and the well known and indescribable art direction of Amanita Design are always good reasons to have a good, thorough look at any game they produce.
