    Неплохой шаг вперёд для игровой индустрии.

    HL: Alyx показывает, что в VR вполне можно делать полноценные игры, а Alyx достаточно длинная, примерно на 15 часов прохождения (что больше, чем любая прошлая часть Half-life). Физика, графика, звук и геймплей - всё на высочайшем уровне и претензий к ним вообще нету. Взаимодействие с окружением в этой игре невероятное, ничего подобного в    Неплохой шаг вперёд для игровой индустрии.

    Среди таких примечательных минусов лишь то, что врагов мало в перестрелках (при том, что они очень тупые) и то что 80% игры проводишь в каких то канализациях и подземельях.    … Expand

    Absolute masterpiece. Valve has yet again released revolutionary Half-Life title.
    I only have my cheap old Oculus Rift, but the experience is breathtaking, the level of detail, immersion and just how much you can do with the environment.
    Wonderful game, I can say that this one will be played in the future to have nostalgia trip, just like Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2 are played on the    Absolute masterpiece. Valve has yet again released revolutionary Half-Life title.

    I have to give it 9/10 though because the VR audience seems to be rabid.
    They're calling everyone who doesn't think that VR is the lord and savior of gaming "idiot, poor" etc.
    And nobody who doesn't think that EVERYTHING is better through VR haven't apparently tried VR.
    I got bullied, I got harassed and others just joined the crowd to do that.

    Fantastic game, however I don't want to be seen as its "fanbase".    … Expand

    A must for VR fans and a great introduction for VR newcomers. A great sci-fi story with ambitious environments and mechanics. Mind bending experience for sure. Some things that could've been implemented are not here, like melee combat or more direct physical contact with the enemies and more physical puzzles. Also grabbing corners or objects to peek like in The Walking Dead Saints andA must for VR fans and a great introduction for VR newcomers. A great sci-fi story with ambitious environments and mechanics. Mind bending experience for sure. Some things that could've been implemented are not here, like melee combat or more direct physical contact with the enemies and more physical puzzles. Also grabbing corners or objects to peek like in The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners would have make an even greater immersive VR experience.
    Even with those little things, the game does a ton of other things better that any other VR game and is in another league completely.

    As a fan of the Half-Life games for 15 years, i cried and wept for almost 15 minutes as i experienced the ending.

    El juego es simplemente absorbente, no hay palabras. Es altamente inmersivo, los escenarios son increíbles, los puzles interesantes, la ambientación del universo Half Life espectacular...
    Lo único que se echa en falta es la posibilidad de poder correr...
    Y el único defecto del juego, que se acabe. Me ha costado 18 horas, porque juego sin prisas, explorando todo bien, buscando recursos    El juego es simplemente absorbente, no hay palabras.     After 13 years not disspointed I waited so long and I get what I deserved. Thank you Valve for making Half-Life again and made it awesome than ever! Ending make me cry not gona lie. But I hate you JEFF.

    Absolutely amazing! First game in VR that is not just a gimmick but is actually a proper game great gameplay and storyline. The visuals are best I have seen on VR so far.

    Perfect 11. After this, I cannot play a non VR AAA title! Hurry up others and make more. It is like going back to a B&W TV after experiencing Half Life Alyx in VR. I haven't written a review because I have never been inspired to until now...

    An absolutely masterful work of art. This game feels like a game from the future, and it sets the standard for what video games should be moving forward -- VR or not. I cannot recommend this game enough. 10/10, masterpiece.

    Alyx is as conservative as it is groundbreaking. I don't really know what I was expecting from it, as the company that made it has notoriously been out of the game making loop for years, and Alyx definitely shows that. The game's mechanics all feel next to identical, if a little dumbed down compared to previous HL games. You go through a set of linear levels solving puzzles and fightingAlyx is as conservative as it is groundbreaking. You go through a set of linear levels solving puzzles and fighting both human and monstrous foes with an assortment of weapons. The only difference is that this time you only have three weapons to choose from, with only two being particularly viable for most of the game. Combined with a slight ammo drought, the lack of melee feels kind of jarring.

    Although the game doesn't break boundaries in terms of gameplay, it still feels that way just due to just how damn polished it is. It's the little things that you don't even think about that sell it best. The enemies react to everything in a super natural way, with hundreds of procedural animations that play out in front of you in real time. The sound design is fantastic, with every step feeling just right. Overall the entire game just is an experience to play, and the fact that you're not even conscious about it all makes it all the better.

    I do have some complaints. While the teleport movement is some of the best I've seen, I still vastly prefer the smooth locomotion option which feels like an afterthought. Several points, namely jumping, absolutely require teleporting, and as Alyx cannot sprint the movement speed is far too low. You'll end up having to teleport anyways, especially in combat, which isn't ideal in my mind. I also with the weapons were just a tad more physical. two handed aiming would have been nice.

    These points are mostly just nitpicks, but they still are there. Compared to other VR experiments like Boneworks, I think Alyx is not the perfect VR game Still, Alyx just does much more right than any other VR game out there to the point where it's easy to forgive it's failings. If you have the hardware, this is the game you're looking for. You won't regret it even for a second.    … Expand

    The only thing more disappointing than a game that only exists to sell a gimmick after years of GabeN spitting on his fans, is the colossal amount of shills around here.

    A bland shooter with slightly more interactive elements.

    A True Technology milestone in gaming, taking vr game to the next level.
    Graphics are amazing, story is intense and in ur face.
    Tons of interaction and cool settings.
    Amazing details.
    Hoping this mean we get bigger and better VR games in the future.

    Valve has done it again! One of the only companys that would push a medium that isnt widely adopted and making it a must buy. In a year where TLOU2 and Cyberpunk2077 will release, I can say without a doubt this will remain my GOTY.

    This game was simply amazing in every way. Even on a lower end VR headset that I played on (Samsung Odyssey HMD+) this game was stunning. The attention to    Valve has done it again! The way the gameplay is built around the grabbity gloves also is so intuitive and easy to use i had a blast anytime I had to use them (which is all the time)

    The story is suitably Half Life. HL oozes through every interaction of every character, level, voive and so on. The atmosphere is so enthralling that the game is hard to put down. Its so well done that its making me want to replay through HL 1 & 2 again just bc I am so sucked into the universe again. There are sections of the game that also go full horror and creep and its so much more immersive in VR.

    I played on the normal difficulty and found it a perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment. The game clocked in at around 13 hours for me which I found perfect. Any longer and I think it would have overstayed its welcome for a first time experience in VR.
    The gameplay CONSTANTLY throws new challenges at you. Every time youre just getting used to one mechanic, the game throws something new at you. it really keeps you on your toes.

    I could go on and on about the positives about the game. Its certainly not perfect though. While I'd say 95% of the game is extremely intuitive, there are definitely parts that you scratch your head as you figure out what to do next. The game barley gives any help at all and its up to you as an experienced gamer to figure out some of the puzzles yourself. Unless you are a total beginner at video games, you will eventually figure out what to do. But if youre a first time gamer and just jumping into this, good luck.

    Overall this game is a masterpiece in my eyes. To push the medium of VR to the next level and making this a reason to get VR is a serious accomplishment. I highly recommend this game to fans of the franchise and newcomers alike. The gameplay and atmosphere are too good to pass up.

    I would also rate the game with 9.5/10.
    Its a really nice game with a Lot to interact with.
    Until this day there were a lot of small games wich made Fun but there was no real VR game. I thought i was wasting my money for buying the Rift S but finaly there is a game wich i can enjoy. Especialy the possibility of teleportation movement (you also can move with Joystick or half teleport)    I would also rate the game with 9.5/10.
    Its a really nice game with a Lot to interact with.

    one fo the best vr games i have ever played, very well polished with nice pacing, there is a lack of melee combat but there is a reason for that which is explained after the game ends. generally one of the greatest experiences the vr can offer, and is the game that needed in order to give confidence to more devs to invest in vr games.

    A groundbreaking VR game, setting a standard in the finest Half-Life tradition. It boggles my mind how many problems they had to solve to make this work in a radically different environment, but they have raised the bar so high that I worry it will take others years to match it.

    Played on VIVE Cosmos. And it´s incredible!!! You are inside Half-Life world, fantastic true graphics, physics and great new experience, even inside VR games, because it´s not only regular vr-project - you are entering inside this world, you´ve seen years ago in HL and HL2 series. 10/10.

    I dont think ive ever said wow after finishing a game before but it would be impossible to not after playing this masterpiece.

    This is truly what a triple-A VR game can bring to the table and knows it. The story, the mechanics, everything. This is the first time something has truly not felt like a gimmick or demo in VR to me. It does exactly what it's designed to do, it immerses you in the game world and gives you a realistic sense of scale.     A game that gives emotions from the start, although in the middle of the game, it becomes boring, but by the end it begins to unfold. I really liked the component related to hide and seek. I consider it a great continuation of the series and a hint of the next part.

    An exceptional VR game, I wish there was a bit more difficulty but as far as most of the game design choices go i think they made the right ones. I still think the best VR experiences are in racing & flying simulators but i guess that's even more expense for people.

    Half-Life Alyx is proof that Valve is still at its best creatively. This emblematic franchise has been brought to virtual reality; in Alyx we enjoy an immersion never seen before, with comfortable and intuitive mechanics as well as excellent visuals and atmosphere that accompany this interesting adventure within the iconic saga.

    A special mention should be made of the game's dialog, mainly consisting of Alyx herself and Russel, a scientist who Alex remains in constant communication with throughout the game. Their relationship feels genuine, the conversations between them are enjoyable, and almost all of the intended comedic moments land perfectly, which is something most video games seem to have trouble with.
