Redescubrí, desde la madurez y la experiencia, lo pulido del combate, lo inteligente del argumento, lo atrapante de los paisajes. Es un shooter tan impresionante que ha envejecido tan bien. Revolucionó el género.

Sep 10, 2023This is the only game that i can play again and again without getting bored. It has it all: great gameplay, great story, very well-shaped characters and dialogue and an epic soundtrack. Playing this game really puts you in a specific state of mind. Long live Gordon Freeman and his trusty crowbar!

Sep 9, 2023No doubt this is one of the greatest games of all time, It's just cult classic, a standard of the industry. The graphics, physics and everything else are the best in 2004 but still hold up very well even in 2023. Hell, even the facial expressions in this game looks still better than most games nowadays. Sadly Valve don't make games anymore.

Aug 17, 2023Half-Life 2 is more than just a sequel to a good shooter. Half-Life 2 provides an immersive, atmospheric experience within City 17 and is a shining example of what good developers can achieve when they work hard. They raised the standards for the shooter-genre so high with this masterpiece. I wish more games were as good as HL2 is. This is by far my favourite Valve-Game. Thank you Valve!

Cool visual design, excellent sound work, great direction, dynamic soundtrack, entertainig and diverse gameplay, and a decent lenght. It's hard to name another FPS that aged that well - the project looks good and plays well even eighteen years after its release. An outstanding game and a great adventure. -

Dec 28, 2022Easily one of the greatest first-person shooters I have ever played. While the gunplay isn't that great, the pacing of the combat is excellent. Half-Life 2 also manages to still have really strong AI even 18 years later. Hell even the visuals hold up surprisingly well after 18 years. I absolutely adore this game, and I wish we got more shooters like it.

Nov 21, 2022Go play this game. It is a must have for all fps enjoyers. While the graphics had aged quite a bit, the gameplay is still very tight. And, for the time, the feats this game accomplished were crazy. The story, too, is very good. All aspects come together to create a truly fantastic gaming experience. And, to top it off, there is a fairly sized modding community as well. Great game, worth the play.

Nov 19, 2022This physics based wonder is a great squeal to the 1998 original, and it's expansions. it's story isn't anything to special, but it keeps the great game-play, and with some new stuff added by the, at the time brand new Source Engine. it's combat has it's faults, mostly with the hit scanning combine, but overall this game lives up to the original FPS masterpiece, and still holds up today in 2022.
