This is only a Hacking game in the loosest sense. Instead this is more like a visual novel with almost zero story.
The screen is set up to mimic a PC desktop, with several program icons and an operable WiFi popup.
However the gameplay, consists of simply opening an email or a chat log and typing a URL into a box on some program or other. This is made doubly tedious by long wait times during each program's run-time, and a tinny repetitive piece of music that can't be turned off, playing throughout the entire game.
This felt clearly like the product of a student who is learning basic game making, rather than a fully released game. In fact, the only "game" part of the experience was a brief game of Breakout that could be played while waiting on a "hack" occurring.
Skip this, there are far better Hacking games out there, including apparently the sequel to this, which allegedly offers more gameplay, the ability to copy-paste text and movable windows on the desktop screen. All of which would have made this dull, albeit mercifully short, (20 mins tops) experience more like a game and less like a fascinating plot into boredom.
