Excellent game with friends ! unfortunately quite short. Sorely lacking in content and follow-up.
    Too many paid DLCs...

무협 + FPS + RPG가 융합된 게임이라고 할수있습니다.
    다만 난이도가 어렵다는 단점이 있습니다.
    하지만 재밌습니다.

The sense of hitting is excellent.
It is a game that combines martial Chinese martial + FPS + RPG.
However, the difficulty level is difficult.
    But it's fun.

Although the game is currently in Early Access, it's fairly solid. Gunfire Reborn, to describe it better than the Steam Store page, is a rogue-like (or maybe rogue-lite; i honestly am not sure what the distinction is between those two terms) first person shooter, with semi-randomized guns a la Borderlands, that can be played solo or cooperatively (online), and some light RPG elements. You play as one of either two characters (only one of which is unlocked at first), running through rooms and fighting enemies until you reach a boss fight for the level; I would compare it to Risk of Rain 2, The Binding of Isaac, or probably its closest relative would be Immortal Redneck. Upon death, you can invest currency gathered during the run, called "soul essence", into levels in a skill tree, and you can't carry it over to the next run (at least, at first), so you're encouraged to invest as much as possible into whatever skills you can to improve your chances on the next run.

The combat gameplay is surprisingly solid for an Early Access game; there's great variety in weapons, and most if not all the guns I've tried have been fun to use and felt precise and fairly balanced. There are some status effect type things that can stack to broken levels pretty easily, but the game seems to be a "give high damage, take high damage" type affair, at least at the time of writing.

As I mentioned earlier, this game is still in Early Access, so you can expect a little glitchiness here and there, but it seems to mostly come in the form of visual disparities, like your co-op partner's gun looking different to you than to them, or certain effects not properly displaying to the other player. In about 30 hours of play, neither myself nor my friend I've been co-oping with have noticed much in the way of game-breaking bugs. However, the developers are actively soliciting feedback, so in the event that you do encounter any, you can send a report in-game very easily.

Because English is not the developers' native language, you may notice some funky looking grammar or word choice, and if I'm being honest, some of the names of scroll effects or guns read like they're items on a Chinese restaurant's menu, or like they weren't properly translated because maybe the original word doesn't have a good equivalent in English. Here's hoping that these little issues can be corrected before the game truly launches, but for now I'm giving it an 8 on the basis of fun, addictive co-op gameplay and the fact that it's only a $10 game.

I didn't find any bugs, I really liked the gameplay, there are many items and weapons with different effects, the graphics are good, the theme is cool and the multiplayer is sensational (I highly recommend buying with a friend, playing in a group is much more fun, however the game also has matchmaking but I didn’t test this function because I always played with friends). The company is to be congratulated and I hope they continue to bring updates over time as they are doing, with improvements, new characters, new weapons, scrolls and etc ... I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes FPS. Expand

That means, you'll die very often, your progress is really minimalistic. You can spend hours not seeing more than the first two maps over and over again.

You will lose all your gear and buffs and items when you die, and there is just a CHANCE you'll get your last used weapon again.

Its basically a gambling-simulator, dressed as a poor mans Borderlands.

The little content there is, is not bad for the first hour, but gets extremely boring and repetitive after that. Because you'll do the same thing, over and over again. With no real progress (and keep in mind, after you die, you'll basically start from scratch, with only minimalistic improvements to your skills!)

You don't have a inventory-system, nor do you have any sort of stash you can put your collections in. Weapon-carry-limit of only two weapons makes this feel even more like a early 2000 mobile-game.

I hope Duoyi studio will update the game, maybe add random boss fights at diffrents stages, more enemies and characters to play. There is nothing they should change, it is perfect as it is, the game just needs some more contect - since it's still fresh. I wish Duoyi will success in the industry, they deserve it. Expand

Even though this game is still in early access it feels like a complete game and it is really fun to play. I love that the randomized perks on guns can make a less than ideal gun into a Godmode weapon, similar to Borderlands gun perks. I haven't beaten it yet and I have only played solo but I can only imagine that the multiplayer has potential to be a lot of fun. The procedural generation of each level keeps each run feeling fresh though they could use a few more variances to level maps. Because this game is a roguelike, you should expect to die quite often in the beginning, but don't let that discourage you because you have the opportunity to level up after each run to go back into the fight just a little stronger each time. This difficulty makes it extremely rewarding when you finally beat that first boss and get to move on to the next area. If there is anything I would change about the game it would be maybe adding a double jump, aim-down-sights (ads) for your default weapon, and maybe allowing your character to sprint. Otherwise the gameplay is fantastic and the low poly art style actually works really well for this game, to set it apart from any other 1st person shooter roguelikes out there. It is absolutely worth the $11.43 I paid for it and is easily better than some $60 AAA titles I have played in the past. Expand

    - Some of the bosses and areas with traps feel too annoying to play
    - UI is pretty ugly
    - Some guns feel useless no matter what upgrades are on them?
    - My mouse randomly skips every now and then, only on this game

This is a game I'm really excited for new updates and hope the devs add a lot more to it c:

This is unacceptable of a game considered "full release". If it wasn't given away "for free" on Xbox Gamepass, I would be requesting a refund.
As an added bonus, the game cannot save any of your game/video/audio/keymap settings (they reset each time you reboot the game); and occasionally, the game swaps languages on you (I hope you speak French).
Do NOT waste your time on this mess.

A mix of souls game and fps, nervous gameplay, a surprising and fun game! The fact that every attempt after death won't be through the same path/rooms/enemies is really a nice touch.

I played this a lot and it was very fun, alone and coop. The gunplay is excellent and there are very nice synergies to become truely overpowered. I also love the sound design.

Unfortunately, by now, it severely lacks new stages, devs only added a nonsensical horde mode.

The first run or two is fun but once you beat it not much changes. Weapons, scrolls, and inscriptions are all horribly imbalanced (some are completely useless and some pretty much guarantee victory). Overall, it’s REALLY overhyped. Player skill sadly does not play a large role in how successful a run will be, you get good RNG you beat the game every time guaranteed.

Gunfire Reborn offers a solid mix of roguelite progression, creative weapons, and fun hero abilities, making it a good pick for fans of loot-focused first-person shooters. Its low system requirements and co-op gameplay further enhance its accessibility, and it makes for a great Steam Deck experience. However, the highly repetitive level design is a weakness that can’t be ignored. While expansions and seasonal systems add variety, they feel like compensation for the bland environments rather than a true fix. Overall, it’s a good game that is enjoyable, but not without some flaws that stop it short of greatness.

Gunfire Reborn has great gunplay, huge variety in builds, and a formula as simple as it is immediate: you get in, you shoot, you hope to get to the end. It might not sound like much, but it’s more than enough to make Duoyi’s game incredibly compelling and almost addictive.
