    Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride is a point and click game, and a good one I might add. It is a game filled with many puzzles and assembly mini games to create items that let you move forward.

    It has a good story (no spoilers) and although this game is targeted at a younger audience, it still has a bit of a dark tint over it. Mainly in some parts of its animation style and images in the puzzles. The story is kind of cliché but for a kid’s game, it is good. The “collector’s edition” has an extra bonus level, expanding the story by some bit. The game gives you a Telltale vibe, although it is nothing like that.

    The puzzles itself are really challenging, even I (a grown ass man) could not figure them out instantly and it took me some time. The overall design of the puzzles is well done and well animated and give you a feeling of satisfaction when you complete them.

    The graphics, or should I say animation style in the game is good. The moving animations however are sometimes a little bit odd and awkward. But overall, no complaints there. The music playing in the background has something “creepy” but is calming at the same time. Little weird to explain.

    A small problem I had with the game was that I was going for the “no hints” achievement and my mouse clicked on “hint” when I needed to click something in the bottom right corner. This caused the achievement invalid and thus I needed to start all over again. It is my own fault of course, but the button takes on 15% of your screen and cannot be disabled anywhere.

    For me the main reason to play Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride was because I got it in a bundle and never played it, it is relaxing, and it got some easy (or so I thought) achievements to complete. As a kid I would love to play this game (and the other ones in the Artiflex Mundi series).

    Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride is one of the best HO / Point & Click Games that Artifex Mundi has to offer. The Puzzles are not to hard andGrim Legends: The Forsaken Bride is one of the best HO / Point & Click Games that Artifex Mundi has to offer. The Puzzles are not to hard and not to easy just the right difficulty.

    The Story is beautiful and the Voice Acting is alot better then on older games. The Atmosphere is just right and the Sound makes you feel like you are really in a mystic place on an adventure.

    After coming over from the Midnight Mystery Series to Grim Legends you will see just how good Artifex Mundi is when it comes to these Sort of Games.

    As most Artifex Mundi Games the Colour is absolutley amazing and vibrant as anything! The Art was also just as amazing and beautiful.

    All in all I really enjoyed this Game, its vibrant colours and its beautiful Story Line!

    I do recommend this Game to any HO / Point & Click Game Fan and of course for those that like to get 100% Achievements.    … Full Review »

    The Forskaen Bride is a point and click puzzle adventure game where you play as a woman on the way to her twin sisters wedding
    The game introduces its mechanics after a bear causes your carriage to crash…
    and its up to use to put different items together to make sure you get to your sister to deliver your gift in time…
    and you also happen to run into an adorable kitten that of course youre going to take with you…
    When you finally get there
    oh snap
    shes been sntached by a bear…
    so you set out with your new kitten companion to rescue your twin sister…
    The strory is pretty predicatable but enjoyable and moves the 5and a half hour long long along nicely…
    here you look at your surrounding, interact, find pieces, put them together and work on triggering events to get past each section…
    And it isn’t just adventure styled gameplay…
    There are tons of puzzles to solve, like jigsaw, dominoes, hidden objects… among others.. all of which are fairly simple and don’t warrant any help…
    The point and lick adventure portion is where you may run into just a little bit of trouble…
    Not because the solutions are confusing.. they all actually make sense..
    youll most of the time immediately know what you need to do… but then need to look around to figure out how youre going to do it…
    Its just enough challenge to make you feel smart while not frustrating you making you just give up and go to a walkthrough
    but you may run into problems because every item you need isn’t always in the current location youre in..
    you have to remember where things are to come back to them later…
    which is made easy with the help of a quick travel map.. as wall as the ability to ask the game for the next step in continuing the game and its story…
    but if you don’t want the help at all theres also an expert mode..
    this mode gives no tutorials and the cool downs to ask for help are much longer..
    The Forsaken Bride is an enjoyable and simple point and click puzzle game
    one suitable for all ages…
