    This game by far beats any other driving simulation game out there, this game deserves a meta score of 100/100 the graphics are awesome, game play is so real its not funny.

    this game is amazing... If you like a challenge, you are smart, and you like racing, then you will love this game. If you are stupid, untalented, or clumbsy, don't but this game. You'll rage quit b4 u start.

    Easily the one of the best racing games i have ever played it combines arcade racers with simulation for an awsome experience. and teh graphics for a 2 year old game are awsome i get over 50fps with my HD 5770 on max graphics.

    I've always been a racing fan, from nascar to F1 to rally to street racing series. In the last few years racing fans have had to suffer though awful and unfished racing games such as the recent NFS, or great SIM racing games such as GTR. Both have their faults, but Grid has come along and restored the great and fantastic experience that racing should be.     Wow, By far, this game is amazing. The graphics, the feel, the customization, the variety. I got this on blackfriday from Steam (very cheap). The game is just simply fun and exciting. It may be hard at first, but just remember, your goal is not always to be first. Don't expect first place, first race, first time playing. Enjoy the challenge, learn some skills!     GRID is the best racing game ever...u won't find any game more realistic at that moment and I don't know when will ever come out a game that can be compared to GRID...it rocks!!! When u rule in GRID, u rule in any racing game...once again GRID is the best game!

    The graphics of this games are really impressive. For me, it's really the best 2008 game The game is quite difficult at the start, then you get used to it and it becomes really fun. Note that It requires a very good gfx card to get all game dimension.

    This game,is the first game that really truly amazed me.After all the years i have played the Need For Speed titles,this game dosen't compare to the NFS titles..It's psyhics are simply far more evolved than in the NFS series,and most of the racing games i have played.(arcade style games,and or simulation.)     Brilliant game. I'm pretty used to DiRT, so I immediately recognized the graphics. The cars seem to spin out much more than in DiRT, but it adds to the difficulty and the fun. took me some time to figure out the good settings for my steering wheel, but after that... wow. best racer i have played to far! good job Codemasters!

    Realistic mechanics. Amazing visuals. Different gameplay modes for everyone. Great concept. A racing game of the likes not seen before.

If you think they are plowing through you like "kamakazee", it was probably your own faulty move that caused that to happen.
    You can't really punch the gas, and hope to make it to the end. That is almost impossible. If possible, you wont have much of a car left.
    Let me get something straight about the gameplay mechanics. You'll have people say that the game isn't 100% on realism with physics, etc. Like most other racing games that have tried. But this game tried very hard, no perfect, but it's real enough on my terms. And for a game that feels so real (looks so real) still difficult to control at times, it's still a blast to play. Trust me when I say, you'll love the feeling of completing a race in this game, unlike any other racing game.
    There is a couple frustrations of getting a handle on the cars. But if your a patient but quick minded thinker, you can get something out of this. It took me about 30 tries or so to finally win the first race and get my rookie licence. But the ending result felt great. And, I wont lie, I was one of the more damaged cars. I    … Expand

    Fun, Fast, Realistic! Everything you could expect from a Driving Simulation game. The multiplayer is awsome (gameplay). The only down point is the menus (single and online) you use the controler on menus and the search engine and features from the online mode is poor (but again, gameplay is 10).

    Best Driving game thus far, tops all NFS and similar. coming from a drift/track background the best physics engine out there. And for those that doubt the physics, spend a day on the track and you'll think twice. Only downfall kamikaze AI's. Awesome graphics.

    best arcade racer EVER. the physics is just right, difficulty is fine. don't play with the keyboard (even though I do), since it's plain brutal. everybody complaining about realism - don't bother, go play rFactor or LFS, or wait for F1 2009 (also by Codemasters.)

    Simply the best racing game ever created. Very realistic physics engine, one of the best out there. Bill A. there complains about the physics because his computer cannot handle the game. I don't know how it's possible to make a better racing game. In fact, I'll bank on the ONLY way to make a better racing game is in a VR simulator. 10 out of 10!!

    I have been playing this game for quite some time now, and i can't come up with anything bad to say about the game. I play this game in combination with a G25 steeringwheel and accessories and it all feels good and works like a charm, the steering can be quite sensitive but that is adjustable so i cannot discredit the game for it.     While not necessarily the most realistic racing game, this is definitely the most fun I've had since Geoff Crammond's F1GP. Note, I played it with keyboard only, with driving assists. With some games (eg NFS) this would make it impossible to handle the cars, but with GRID it is fine.

    Abusolutly amazing it is hard and a bit of a challenge at time but with a bit of time u get the hang of it and start winning for and just fiddle with the the steering senstivity if u are having problems like i did. and graphics are stunning i play it on max on my HD5770 and it is amazing

    This is probably my favorite racing game since burnout 3. It is just so much fun to play. It definitely isn't a sim, but the flashbacks and the easy controls make it a lot of fun. Maybe not a game for gran turismo fans but if you like fun racers like burnout and need for speed but with a sim sort of feel, I definitely recommend it.

    Every RED rated review for GRID suffers from the same problem: Their own bad driving. The physics are great, The AI tries to finesse their turning when in close proximity to you or others, giving a small amount of intelligence to them. They don't want to be hit! People say there needs to be a 'speed limit' so one doesn't go flying into walls? These cars are equipped with both standardEvery RED rated review for GRID suffers from the same problem: Their own bad driving. The physics are great, The AI tries to finesse their turning when in close proximity to you or others, giving a small amount of intelligence to them. They don't want to be hit! People say there needs to be a 'speed limit' so one doesn't go flying into walls? These cars are equipped with both standard brakes and an emergency brake, and the ability to NOT floor the gas at all times. Try it. Once you ease up on the throttle a little and practice your braking, it gets easy to dominate the simple circuit, but fret not, raising the difficulty will provide plenty of new challenges. This is the street version of DiRT 2, and when people say it should be "like dirt", they should take note that it is by the same publisher and pretty much a clone of DiRT2's engine with a fresh set of textures and no truck/buggy racing. What this game gives up in diversity of vehicle class, it makes up for with beautiful, fun tracks, and rewarding, precision driving.… Expand

    Bit late for a review, not exactly a review. I just want to congratulate Codemasters for making this wonderful game, even from 2008 (today 2013), after 5 long years this game still pwns butt. I always hated those extreme arcadish racing games, but Grid, i just can't stop playing it. Graphics are still gorgeous, after all these years, u sure can compare them to newest triple-A games whichBit late for a review, not exactly a review. I just want to congratulate Codemasters for making this wonderful game, even from 2008 (today 2013), after 5 long years this game still pwns butt. I always hated those extreme arcadish racing games, but Grid, i just can't stop playing it. Graphics are still gorgeous, after all these years, u sure can compare them to newest triple-A games which aren't half that fun and good looking (with some few exceptions ofc) I'm a hardcore SIM racing player, i love 07 Race (expansions), rFactor (mods), RBR (mods)... and my top favorite arcade racing game besides Mario Kart on SNES is Grid!
    This game gets a solid 10/10 from me, because of all the fun things u can do with it... What i absolute adore is the drifting challenge, i'm addicted to it..
    The only let down is the A.I being really aggressive and it doesn't offer much support for steering wheels, just use a gamepad and you're ready to go Waiting for Grid 2 release which are weeks from now, i already did my pre-order... Always support what you enjoy!    … Expand
