    I haven't played the first game in a while, but I feel was much more impressed at the time than now. Car damage is bad now, you crash it down and it takes a really long time to feel any difference or for your team to tell you something about it. There is drift all the time, you can't really control it.     Many people talk about how great it is but this sucks a**. The physics are way off. I stop after hitting a wall and it takes me 4 minutes to turn, why? because I spin in circles cause of the f-ing physics. Even if you try to push the button for a millisecond and take off it still does a 150 turn. The camera angle is terrible. When you burnout you can't see ****

    I claimed it for free and played it. Singleplayer isnt bad but the maps are still the same and locations too.

    Игра гораздо слабее первой части. Выбор авто меньше, режимов меньше, управление стало еще более аркадным, режим карьеры менее интересный. Даже режим с видом из кокпита убрали (чем он мешал то?). Слабенько.

    I don't usually play racing games and I only played this one for It's co-op experience, which in this case happens to be splitscreen. I don't have particular complaints (Maybe the lack of a more agressive difficulty) and It's an entertaining game with a friend.

    Coming here with mixed feelings. I overall had a good time with Grid 2 but also quite some frustration at times.

    Grid 2 doesn't try to be anything of a simulation. It's an arcade game where every car has it own behaviour when it comes to accelerating, turning or drifting. Gameplay-wise it's a very standard racing games, with a good impression of speed in the later stages of the game.    Coming here with mixed feelings. I overall had a good time with Grid 2 but also quite some frustration at times.

    Grid 2 doesn't try to be anything of a simulation. It's an arcade game where every car has it own behaviour when it comes to accelerating, turning or drifting. Gameplay-wise it's a very standard racing games, with a good impression of speed in the later stages of the game. Driving well can feel very satisfying.

    There is enough diversity in the circuits to keep players entertained for quite a while, from urban circuits to professional circuits (Spa-Francorchamps, Red Bull circuit). There are also different competition modes, although all more or less related to racing, except for the drift mode.

    All of this could give a very good racing games if it were not crippled by a few frustrating flaws.

    First of all: collisions. This must be the most annoying thing about Grid 2: although not discussed in any tutorial, collisions are de facto an important part of the gameplay, especially since most of the races take place on very narrow roads where it is difficult to overtake your opponents in a clean way. To state this clearly: you will hit (and be hit by) your opponents all the time. But the physics in play would make anybody want to avoid them as much as possible: AI cars are sturdy as **** and too many contacts result in a crash for the player.

    To make things worse, Codemasters had the very weird idea, in order to create artificial difficulty, to make the player always start from one of the worst spots. Basically in 12-drivers races, you'll hardly every start placed 8th or higher. This is a rigid, cumbersome way of making the challenge harder for the player.

    As a result of these two points, the scenario of most races (at the highest level of difficulty; I haven't tried any other) will be the following: start at the back: try to force your way through (with a lot of collisions) in the first few turns (usually you'll restart the race many times at this step already...). Try to overtake a few more opponents, and then desperately chase the 1st, considering he's far ahead, as he avoided all the mess in the crowd and usually has a boosted skill to make the race artificially even harder to win.

    Needless to say that restarting races to overcome this very unfavorable scenario so many times has been a frustrating experience. It's a pity, since I can really enjoy the rest of the game, especially in modes like time attack where these problems obviously don't occur.

    I should also mention that I experience several crashes of the game, always during the loading times between the races. With no other option but to kill the task manually.

    As a summary, Grid 2 could have been a very good racing game, but in the end it is just an "ok-ish" game with many moments of frustration.    … Expand

    It's a pretty decent racer that thankfully doesn't last too long and thus does not overstay its welcome. The visuals are great, tracks are also great, even the car variety isn't too shabby. Unfortunately the handling of the cars will not stop feeling strange throughout the entire game and that really holds the gameplay back to the point where I'd recommend many of the competitors above this title.

    As soon as you start to actually play it, that is where the game begins to fall apart. The key to GRID 2 is simple: Drift. This would be a great game as long as all you ever do is look at it.

    As soon as you start to actually play it, that is where the game begins to fall apart. The key to GRID 2 is simple: Drift. The first tier of cars you obtain in career mode, every single car in season one - even with DLC - is a Drift car. And there's a reason for this. Once you finally do work your way up the ladder, you do tart unlocking other cars. But even with other control schemes, "balance", "grip", there is only one way to take corners with any speed: Drifting.

    And even this wouldn't be as bad if it had the same more realistic drifting controls as the previous game. But this game doesn't. Not by a long shot. While it may be better than the infamously bad Ridge Racer series, Codemasters has decided to throw away all pretense of a "racing simulator" and give us crappy arcade drifting physics. Every car will under-steer unless you hit the breaks to throw the back end out. Every. Single. Car. Every track is made for drifting around sharp bends. Every race expect you to drift if you want any sort of reasonable time. Simply put, if you aren't drifting, you aren't winning.

    On top of that, the career tournament, sponsor, money/reputation system of the previous game is gone. Replaced with a "social media" story, complete with ESPN interludes (who've proven they will do anything for a pay check whether it has any sense of reality or not). You win races to earn "fans" (reputation). Cars are just given to you, you choose between usually two - which are either virtually identical in stats or one will be a clear advantage - and you can unlock the other in a time trial. The goal of the game is to impress drivers from other racing circuits to join your racing circuit by beating them in races. Let me put that another way: The goal is to impress enough fans that your brand new, all-styles racing circuit is totally for realsies by attracting drivers that you, personally, have bested in their own circuits, on their own tracks, against their own specialties. And now you want to race them off type, off class, and against each other to give credibility for your fantasy league. Yea, this is so much better than just, you know, trying to earn trophies from existing events.

    Worse, the AI has taken a huge step back from the previous game. Whereas in previous game, drivers had skill sets, they had favorite types, and - most importantly - they made mistakes, here we are back to AI that was laughable twenty years ago. They follow their racing line. They drive a little slower if they're out front, so that you can catch up, and a little faster if they're behind you (rubber band AI). They don't care if they hit a wall, they don't care if you're in the way, they don't care if you try to spin them. They will stick to their racing line like glue.

    But wait, there's more. In their infinite wisdom, Codemasters has added a few new race types, and of course removed some old favorites. One of the new events, Live Routes, is a race track that is dynamically altered as you race. In other words, you have to picture that there are people who, once a few cars go buy, run out and reset the direction of the track. Constantly. In a game filled with unrealistic, idiotic choices, this one takes the cake.

    Edit: There is also the dreaded, obsolete, should not be seen in any video game post 2000 checkpoint racing. This was a mechanic invented for arcade machines back when you had to continually put quarters in them every 90 seconds in order for them to earn money. You have a time limit, and each checkpoint adds a little bit to it - not enough to get to the next point on its own, so that you will eventually run out. It has absolutely no place in home games. This mechanic needs to die. Even though it is used here slightly differently than in the old arcade games, here it's set up as an actual competition - which is probably the best use you can make out of it - checkpoint racing has left such a dirty taste in my mouth from so many games that I just cannot respect any racing game that includes it anymore. This isn't the only thing either. Elimination, the way they have the "5 second rule" to Togue. This game has completely forgone "simulation" for "arcade". While some players may like that, having race styles that can only really be done IN a video game... After the first GRID game, this is not at all what I wanted to see in the sequel. I have no problem if that's the game that they wanted to make... but it should not be titled GRID 2.

    There are better racing games out there. The cars there feel good, the game looks good, the races make sense, the AI is competitive, and most importantly, that game is far more FUN. But hey, at least you can have pearlescent paint if you buy this one - though you can never remove your sponsors.    … Expand

While in career mode it's not that evident and the career is a fun mode, but multiplayer... my *throw here a deity that suits you* the multiplayer... such a s***storm...     GRID 2 is both great fun at times, and awkward the rest of the time. The graphics look wonderful, especially on Ultra, everything looks smooth and polished. The problem is in the car handling. One minute I can take a corner and my tires will hold, and the next I'll hit a similar corner and my car will flip off the road into a wall, and not a lick of it makes sense. It's almost like some corners are designed for drifting while others won't allow it. The front wheel drive cars handle exactly the same as the rear wheel drive cars, and that just doesn't make sense at all.

    Another annoying feature is the commentary. If you're in 4th place, you'll hear "Try for 3rd." I mean, wow! I would have never thought of trying to advance in the pack so I could overtake 3rd! Thank you for the insight, dude!" It is utterly useless, and you can't get rid of it. So you get subjected to such gems as "some of your starts are getting a reputation as aggressive, and we don't want that." Really? We don't want to have a reputation for being aggressive? In a RACE? Who put that one in there?

    Ah well, so to boil it down to details:

    SUMMARY: If you can find the game for $10 or less, it's a fairly good deal, and you may end up enjoying the game. Any more than that, and you'll just feel like you wasted your money.    … Expand

    Best compromise between sim and arcade. This game has perfect handling that I want since nowadays, racing game is simulator with annoying handling or need for speed with unrealistic handling. But little disappoint with car list.

    One of the best racing games . Awesome graphics, many different real cool cars, amazing trucks, interesting carier . This game much better than Need For Speed Rivals . This game nearly on a par with Project Cars . This game even much better than Race Driver Grid and I think Grid 2 much better than Dirt 3 and even Blur .     I paid $1 for this game on sale, and I feel like I got ripped off. The handling in GRID is terrible. Basically all the cars in the game feel the same- the mere fact that FRONT wheel drive cars drift exactly theI paid $1 for this game on sale, and I feel like I got ripped off. The handling in GRID is terrible. Basically all the cars in the game feel the same- the mere fact that FRONT wheel drive cars drift exactly the same way as REAR wheel drive cars is laughably stupid. The game is clearly "scripted" to a high degree. You'll race several races and be many seconds ahead of the competition at the finish, then enter a race and all of a sudden the same AI driver in the same car as last time is suddenly able to keep ahead of you on track. Car handling is also very scripted. There are clearly times when the game wants you to drift around corners- to the point that you can lose several seconds of time in a single corner if you don't drift correctly, which is just awful, because at other times you'll go for a drift and that corner is clearly programmed so you will either not gain any time or feel your car pulled toward the wall like a magnet. A game can't just arbitrarily switch around like this, I as the player don't know what to expect. They should have just made this a Wipeout-style game with speed-up patches and "drift zones" painted on the track in neon colors. At least then we wouldn't have to guess how the developers wanted us to drive. I could go on, but this game doesn't deserve it. I've put thousands of combined hours into Forza, Gran Turismo, Project Gotham... I love racing games. I turned off GRID 2 after about 2 hours of play. I just couldn't take it anymore. Uninteresting graphics, annoying "bro-sef" commentary, terrible and unpredictable handling... there's no reason to play this.… Expand

    Very solid arcade racer. Needed to mod it to get the cockpit view which is the only way i can play racing games. It plays really well but the overall package is so lacking. Customization is so minimal and codemasters have totally neglected the online side of it.
    It's a real shame because this game given a bit more time and love could be something so much better.

    I have played dirt 2 and dirt 3 and I've enjoyed them pretty much, though I enjoyed this one too, it didn't live up to those titles but it is pretty fun and enjoyable

    Pretty and well optimized, lots of drifting but it's generally responsive and rewarding. Lots of variety in handling from car to car and class to class, everything requires it's own approach and adjustments. The game forced me to play without a mini map in the campaign and I liked it so much I turned the minimap for good, since most hard turns have easily visible arrow indicators.

    No driver-cam, AI could be better, and some other little issues. Overall a decent game, but there's other racing games probably more worth the money.

    I notice other people had problems with spinning out of control when taking corners. I don't know if they were also using controllers, but for me the game defaulted to the triggers for the throttle and brakes, which is retarded for obvious reasons. The handling improved immensely after I switched it to a and x.    … Expand

    Codemasters' worst game ever.
    Take the first GRID, the older Race Drivers. All were brilliant games with handling so different from car to car that you had something you liked and disliked about each.
    This game is the reason I will never pre-order again and it's also the reason why I've lost all faith in Codemasters. I don't care what they say about GRID Autosport, burnt once, twice shy.

    Very dated graphics, looks like need for speed most wanted (from way back in 2005). vehicle handling model is very simple and shallow, and of course very arcade. damage simulation is very primitive and not visually impressive. sound design is adequate, but nothing special. There is nothing very wrong with this game, but nothing right either, except maybe the re-wind function. There is absolutely no realism in this game despite what Codemasters would say. If you want a racing game that will force you to clip the apex to maintain your speed then keep looking.     At first I was unsure of this game because the car handaling was very slipery but after getting used to it i found that the races are very fun.The AI is good, and it is very satisfing to pull of high speed drifts. The campaign is ok, you collect fans intsead of money but who cares its all about winning races.     When I found out about a new grid game coming I was really excited! When I started to play I was really dissapointed : ( The game is very boring. I do not reccomend buying this game. I hope the next Grid is better!

    Excellent continuation of the second part! The game has a lot, a lot of positive changes. In general, the same GRID only prettier. There is nothing bad about the first part.

    I have just re-downloaded Grid 2 via Steam and after playing the game for a bit I find it's an enjoyable racer. It's not a full on simulation type game but it's still a good game. The game shouldn't need a top of the range PC to run on but if you do have such a machine then you can set all the graphical options to their highest and the game looks good.

    Worst racing game I bought in a long time. They took everything that was good in grid and put the opposite of that in this game.

    You can take corners full speed, the driving is to arcade it looks like the piece of sh*t EA is putting out year after year with NFS.

    Yet another franchise butchered thanks codebasterds.

    When I played the demo for the first game, I knew I was buying that game. Since then I dumped over 100 hours into it. Grid2 is completely and utterly boring. I put about 3 hours into the game and I immediately uninstalled. The AI wasn't challenging, you no longer buy cars, the main menu takes atrociously long to load (and it reloads after every race). It has a great balance of arcade and realism, and a large variety of unique challenges on each track and in each car. The people complaining so much don't really seem to have any good reason to do so. The graphics are beautiful, and they look great no matter what settings you use, so you can play in on a crappy Intel HD3000 or on whatever latest $500 Nvidia monster you have. I find the user interface to be very nice, easy to use, and quick to load. There is a very large amount of tracks and cars to mess around with, more so than in any other race games I can think of, so really, what's the deal? There seems to be plenty of challenge to it, but it's more accessible than the first GRID. The destruction on the cars is brilliant looking, full of realistic mechanics, and plenty of sparks and car pieces flying off, and coming unhinged. The cars look just the way they do in real life, maybe a bit more shine, but still realistic. The range of cars is nice. American cars, Italian cars, British cars, Japanese cars, German cars. You have everything from souped up street cars to full on super cars. The feel of the racing is very intense and visceral and exciting. Each of the cars has its own realistic sounds. I just don't get it. This is a fun game, and it is packed full of content to explore and skills and challenges to overcome. Maybe it's not pretentious enough, maybe it's too accessible. People liked having a game like the original GRID. A game that everyone sucked at it unless you put 50 hours into it, so all the people with jobs stayed away, and only the ultra nerdy, living at home with mom nerds, that could put in the time were any good at it, and they felt better than everyone.     First, the main difference between Grid and Grid 2 is the handling. In Grid 1, the handling is quite user-friendly and it's not that hard to corner. Unfortunately, in Grid 2, every single car is drifty in the beginning. Also the realism is lost as the mix of arcade and simulation handling in Grid became full arcade in Grid 2 (I don't think a car can drift from a corner to another corner), which is a big minus for me.

    Second, the gameplay. It seems that a lot of features in Grid 1 do not move to Grid 2, like teammates and sponsors. The team paint part is ridiculous that every single time I want to see how does the vinyl look, I have to wait for a few seconds before I can see the side of the car, and I have to do it a million times. There's a new feature called "fans" and I don't know what it's for. Also, you can now get all the cars if you complete all vehicle challenges, which I prefer the Grid 1 version you have to buy cars. And WHERE THE HELL IS VIEW?

    Third, the cars. The cars in Grid 2 lacks a little bit variety than Grid 1 and the cars are fewer (as I remember)
    but that's fine for me. The main problem is the handling style. It's actually a bit ridiculous that some grip cars are actually more handy than drift cars, and the balanced cars are not very balanced (that BMW and Hyundai is grippy as hell and Mclaren is drifty I remember). The unique feel of driving in different cars are lost.

    Fourth, the audio. Nothing special I must say.

    Fifth, the graphics. Good in scenes, but definitely not in details. If you crash your car to an extent you can see your car's engine, you'll realize how lazy Codemasters is.

    Well, it's actually a fun game in certain extent but it's definitely a full-arcade game, which is different from Grid 1. I guess I will delete Grid 2 and leave Grid 1 in my computer.    … Expand

    First the handling. I barely played Grid 1 but with I saw on the internet it was way too easy and that's not good. I think the developers saw it and tought: "We must correct this! C'mon give them some hard handling"; and that's that. Besides the fact that your car go mad in every hard curve and you end up pressing the flashback button all the time, I don't see the handling as a negative point. My favorite track is the Mizu Mountain, because it have all you need to know about the game. It have sinuous, hard-curved, simple and even blind parts where you can (will) crash any time. And think with me: you just got out of the hardest drift of your life (the one after the second bridge, probably) and now there's a little simple curve and WOOOOW you crash. Then you Alt+F4 the game and goes right into Metacritic to criticise the game for its "horrible" driving, saying te first was better. C'mon! If you try to drive a Nissan Spec thinking you're driving a VW Golf you'll end up beautifully smashed in the walls. All I'm trying to say is, it doesn't matter if it's harder, because like everything in life (drifting included), it's a challenge and all we do in life is beat challenges, right So don't blame the game for his hard driving, blame yourself for don't being able to master it.

    Graphics Amazing. Effects and scenario textures are all low-res but it's because the game was made to work on Intel IGPUs. But the HDR effects and the motion blur look like they've been made by God itself.

    Career mode looked like interactive with social networks but after a while you realize the number of fans is actually... just numbers. It lacks of a "grand finale" and have no climax. That's why the 9/10.

    Online is amazing when you don't face people mad about the driving and really competitive. There's a phrase from F&F4 that Toretto said, that also explain my opinion about this. "It doesn't matter if you win by a centimeter or by a mile a win is a win." Really well-made online mode.

    Huge collection of cars, and a (very) few of them have unique handling. I missed the real tuning, that lacks on today's racing games...

    And now the ridiculous point. WHERE THE HELL IS MY MONEY In every racing game I could go over there and buy some upgrades and then over there and buy some b**ches and then over there to go race for more money to buy more b**ches and now... IT'S ALL F***ING DONE And why I don't know. I just want to punch the man who thought about doing this to the best racing game ever.

    but I would not of got this if I knew that it didn't have a in car view!
    Especially for widescreen gaming with Nvidia surround such a shame but not everyone has multi monitor setups to use the in car view I guess :( Also what's with all the over the top smoke when you go around corners too, this is not a serious driving game it's more of a silly arcade game more    i love the original..

    I'm disappointed that Codemasters removed the view that I use for realism. It also became an arcade racing game which killed the first GRID's sim.The old GRID is still better. The career mode is boring but the multiplayer is good. You can buy & upgrade cars.

    Most of the things good about Grid 2 are gone, you don't earn money, sponsors etc doesn't have the ''Racing Team'' feel to it, just a game where you race cars. Rather play the newer NFS titles than this.

Silnik jazdy jest po prostu denerwujący. Dodając do tego elementy symulacji czy auto które może się zniszczyć, ta gra staje się po prostu denerwująca. Jest do tego nie dopracowana, jak np. boty które czasami jeżdżą wręcz za idealnie. Jako gra wyścigowa-nawet bardzo dobra jako kontynuacja grid'a 2 średniak. Moja ocena 7/10… Expand

Playing racing games on pc at 1080p+ is great because I can see the track better than on any console games. I understand peoples disappointment in not having in car graphics.     Codemasters pulled off a solid arcade racer with a dose of realism.
    These sub 6-ratings are unrealistic and given mostly out of some form of frustration.
    However the original Grid is still a superior game in terms of balance between game and racing simulation.
    8/10 with an extra half point to balance the ridiculously low ratings.

The game is separated into the usual arcade racing fare, there's the straight up races, drift events, hot lap style events and a quite amusing checkpoint style one too. as well as those, there are some special events thrown in for good measure. The best of these being an overtake event where you have a set amount of laps to overtake as many cars as you can. These overtakes can be linked together to attain a combo, while crashing or taking too long to overtake your next opponent will reduce your combo score.

    Unlike many games the multiplayer was not an afterthought, infact Codemasters has made it into it's own game in it's own right. There are challenges to complete, cars to unlock & upgrade and all this is held together by Codemasters excellent RaceNet service.

    If you're expecting the next Gran Turismo i guess you will be disappointed, but take it or leave it, Grid 2 is easily one of the most fun and accomplished arcade racing games of this generation and should have a place in any racing fans Steam library.    … Expand

    This isn't like the original GRID at all. The graphics have not at all improved since the original, and no special effort seems to have been made in improving the graphics on PC. Buildings are blocky, textures aren't high-res and there is too much texture repetition. In actual fact, it seems like a step-down when you consider that the view was removed from the game. The new handling system seems even more arcadey, which is another disappointment as this is what differentiated GRID from other arcade racing games. The actual racing experience is incredibly boring. There doesn't seem to be any background music during racing and the menu music is incredibly dull. It does nothing to excite the user, leading to a very boring experience. The driver AI is also very robotic, and pales in comparison to the AI seen in other games, like the Need for Speed SHIFT series.
    They've also introduced this ridiculous concept whereby winning events will garner 'fans' and likes on social media sites. I really don't want to see some made-up YouTube comments written in txtspeak. Boring. The in-game menu system is also boring, and is too similar to other Codemasters games. The whole game just reeks of staleness, there is nothing fresh here, just tired concepts re-done. About the only thing I think has improved in this game is the lighting system, but it seems that in order to do that other aspects of the game suffered (such as the lack of a view). Even the track locations are stale many of the cities have been done before in other racing games, and again the amount of tracks is minuscule compared to the likes of NFS Shift. All in all, the game is turning out to be a big disappointment and will make a regrettable purchase. In fairness, I'm basing this on around 1-2 hours of gameplay, but I struggle to see how things will get better. Perhaps things will get better, but it will be a chore to get there.    … Expand

You can customise your car's decal, paint and wheels very simply and only takes 5 minutes to get it exactly how you want. With pre-made decals, very good choice of colours and paint, wheels etc. all unlocked from the start, visual customisation has never been faster in a racing game. The lack of performance upgrades makes races fair. So far, so good. What's more, the career mode isn't as cumbersome as you may think or intrusive of the main gameplay. The number of difficulty options is perfect too. You get street circuits, point-to-point rally-type stages and a few real-life tracks such as Indianapolis, Brands Hatch, Algarve and Yas Marina. Furthermore, the variety of event types is great including some of the more unconventional game modes rarely found in other racing games. The lack of assists further enhances the game's simplicity. Since the handling of the cars is so right, it wouldn't make sense to have assists, and the lack of them makes gameplay fair. You still get manual transmission, as you'd expect of course. Graphics aren't as good as they are demanding, but are very good far from Most Wanted 2012 level but on par with The Run. So what's the problem? We've got a PGR Shift clone, which is great. But there is one HUGE mistake Codemasters made not including INTERIOR VIEW! If this was an arcade game, it would be excusable, since it wouldn't be necessary or suitable. But it's THE ONE GAME you'd expect to have view. Without it, the experience feels very bland compared to what it could've been. If you own an Xbox 360 and have played Project Gotham Racing 3 or PGR 4, you will laugh at this game like it was some sort of joke. What's worse is the online. Not only can you not choose what class of cars or the track you'd like to race on (this is randomly decided by the game, with option to veto), but you have to unlock EVERYTHING. It's as if the single player and multiplayer progression are done the wrong way around. You would expect to have full access to customisation options and no money in online, with everthing unlocked for fair play, but instead you have to unlock everything and if you enter an online race, 99% of the time you won't have a car suitable for the event so the game "loans" you a car but takes off 50% of your winnings for using the car. It's stupid and a major deterrent for playing the online. However, the online does offer weekly challenges in a variety of events and tracks, where there is a bronze silver gold gold medal to earn. These are solo, just you, the car, the track and the target to beat. You can rank up this way too, so this is the only reason to play online. Races are unplayable due to the extreme amount of bashing. Overall, Grid 2 is a racing game which will gel more with those who don't often play racing games. If you're looking for a lower quality, more boring, less exciting, less satisfying, easier, less varied, less fun, less challenging, shorter and worse cars version of Project Gotham Racing without interior view for the PC, this is your game. Otherwise, grab yourself a 360, buy a copy of PGR 3 or PGR 4 and enjoy it far more than this average racing game.… Expand

    I get it, the cars are supposed to be balanced. LOL. Here's the secret: tier 1 Golf/Giulietta, tier 2 Nismo Skyline (being a realistic racing sim, the Skyline handles exactly like the one in Need for Speed Underground), tier 3 Atom or Caterham, tier 4 Veyron, other cars aren't viable 90% of the time. All of them except the first two are of course all the way at the end of their class and reserved for level 10-20-30 players. But it's okay, you can BUY THE UNLOCK DLC if you want to be competitive. This is literally paying to win.

    This is supposed to be a sim game, or at least a racing game. You know, a game about driving properly. I won't get into the complaints about drifting, even though every single one of them is true. Casual drifting can be fun, unless of course you were expecting a realistic racing sim.

    The problem is drifting AND the horrible (fake) track design. Literally every single track is a series of long narrow straights connected by hairpins. They did include a few licensed circuits, carefully cherrypicked to follow this exact template. Why? Because you can drift more easily that way! Duh! Unfortunately it is also impossible to overtake people legitimately unless they crash because the roads are too narrow to accomodate two drifting cars and there is no such thing as braking points, only handbrake taps. The higher level your account, the further towards the back you start, meaning past a certain point you cannot possibly win races without playing rough (unless you're a level 2 newbie who spent €5 on the Veyron and get rewarded by starting in pole position).

    At first some people regretted the lack of GRiD 1's demolition derby. Let's just say every online race is demolition derby whether you want to or not. Even if you don't play rough, someone else will, or a noob will crash in front of you and take you out in the process. There's an "impact rating" system which supposedly penalises dirty drivers. In reality, everyone knows by now how to hit people in such a way that the victim gets the penalty instead. Driving properly only to get blatantly (or even accidentally) plowed off the road and take a time penalty for corner cutting and a hit to your impact rating is so enjoyable. How to win touge events: get a fast accelerating car, get ahead before the first corner, then mash the brakes and intentionally crash into your opponent at the corner, he gets DQ'd for rough driving because you braked and he didn't. That's it.

    To further demonstrate CM's priorities, there is no text chat on PC (console port), instead everyone's mic is always on and you can only mute them between races; however there are detailed leaderboards... for your friends list only. Because social gaming and Facebook YO DUUUUDE.

    Is more easy to play with a joystick then play with a steering wheel.

    The graphics are great, the scenarios looks good but is very hard to control the car.

    I haven't played a racing game in a while, especially on PC, but bottom line is that its a fun and intense racing game that is maybe too accessible for the hardcore racers but has a good feel for just about anyone else.

Coming from Gran Turismo and Forza its hard not to have a million cars and a billion different customizations but you do have a fair amount of cars and customization. Personally I'd prefer much more of both in a game I want to play for a while, especially since the game somewhat lacks a large assortment of tracks even if they are pretty fun ones.

    The multiplayer is a lot of fun and I rarely have connection issues. Its usually pretty easy to find and jump right into a game. It also supports split screen multiplayer and I enjoy that as an option as well. The game features a campaign and while it is pretty easy for the first few tiers, the difficulty does ramp up slightly towards the end.

    In the end its not the best and most full featured racing game out there and maybe it should have been labeled more arcadey than it was, but if you're judging this game on its own merits instead of comparing it to another game, the previous title, or your expectations of what you think it should be, there is a lot of fun to be had in this game and I have no problem recommending it in that context. If you're a serious racer looking for a good PC sim, look elsewhere, but if you just want to have fun racing, this game is great.    … Expand

    It's certainly more arcade-y than its predecessor, but if you can get past that it's a solid game. Graphics are good, racing's decent fun, controls are solid, decent presentation, etc. Only real disappointment I have with it is the removal of Le Mans Series style racing (including Le Mans itself).

    I'd say pick it up if you don't mind the physics change.

    Driving physics are excellent as are the graphics. A racing game which provides a real sensation of speed and car handling. The 'campaign' mode offers several different race types and challenges and keeps things varied. In the longer term, after the campaign is completed it is still a game I'd return to for the odd high speed bash.

    A strong 7/10, pleased I bought it.

    The thing I hate the most is that they even try to find excuses to not include the view. How the hell they can claim that we are not able to run it if they include the CPV?!!!! It is a PC release on steam, we have real computers that has real graphic card in it!! How do you call it unable to run??!! I have tri-monitor with 1080P each. I set the game level to ultra for everything. I even put my video card TDP limited to 78%. I can still get 120 FPS out of it. How the you can not even fit a in car camera in this game since most of people only play it at 60 FPS with one screen!!!!!!!

    The only reason I can gather that anyone would rate this title below a 5 is because they're getting owned by AI and, or multi-player. I also think people simply won't give the game the time it takes to pass the learning curve to be good at racing in Grid 2. That's always an issue with such blockbusters and their future release(s). People simply won't give up on their point of view because of the first game and give the game the time it requires to get past their preconceptions and start having fun.

    Sure v2 had it's problems upon launch with no rhyme or reason the the system. So, it became hard for the average user to try and diagnose, or provide a solution. A couple of patches later, new gfx card drivers released and so on have made the game much more stable. Me and many other's are still having a lot of fun online even though the cap is currently lvl30. I managed to beat career mode in very hard setting without too many complications. I simply had to re-run some races to get my 1st place finish because I wasn't familiar with the tracks and, or cars yet (I accept nothing less than 1st place in single player and re-ran several maps until I achieved my goal). Very hard settings helped because when I started playing online I had one up on many of the player base because, after all learning the tracks and a feel for the cars handling is more than half the battle with any racer.    … Expand

    The worst thing about this game is the A.I they are absolute bell ends when going around corners they P.I.T me every time it's so annoying and when you hit them they stay on track without budging. This always seems to happen right at the of races so that you can lose.

    Cars don't strafe. Cars are not parallel to the road, not even racing cars, because the wight causes roll. Cars have weight distribution, they go up when accelerating, down on braking, sideways on curves. Cars have tires with temperature. Cars have inertia, and you don't see the hood moving like Counter Strike moving the weapon. In fact, that's the whole thing about driving, subtle and precise motion. Jerk the controls and you're in the river.

The many flaws in GRID 2 and lack of goal, excitement and overall personality and attachment disappointed me immensely. Not worth the 60 bucks I payed for it. To this day, the first game is still my all time favorite racing game, GRID 2 is mediocre at best and lacks so many features that made the first game so immersive, that it actually feels older.… Expand

Really bummed, loved the original, it was one of the best racing games on PC, but this is just a cheap arcade-ish racer. I want to race laps around a course with competitive AI, but most of the time you're doing endurance races (just racing til time expires), knockout races (racing til time expires), and these silly overtaking events that have you passing trucks on the race course to earn points (oh and you have to come in first too). Xbox controller or similar is a must unless you actually have the whole setup with wheel, pedals, etc... Also, loading can be slightly jagged vs. smooth even when running from a solid state drive. Game performance can be effected on semi-rare occasion, not enough to be worried about.

    (Menus: 2) The menus in Grid 2 are horrible. Even for the console crowd, simply navigating from starting the game to racing can be tedious. Not a huge downside of the game but noteworthy.

    (Graphics: 9.5) The in game graphics are fantastic, a big improvement from the original Grid. That being said, there was a notable oversight, view. This was a huge disappointment for me because I loved the feeling and challenge of the original Grid in view. The choice that Codemasters made to leave this out has been one of the biggest controversies in the simulation community. The closest view mode is bonnet/hood view and this hurts when you're used to viewing your side and rear view mirror/s. Beyond this oversight, the graphics are really very good. There is greatly improved in-game lighting from the original Grid allowing more realistic looking worlds and reflections. Also, there are squirrels and rabbits running across the course which is nice, but you almost never notice it going 150+ mph

    (Sound: 8.5) The sound has been greatly improved when driving close to barriers and by segmented areas where you can actually hear the sound reflecting off the walls.

    (Vehicle Handling: 6) Cars are based upon 3 systems. Drift, Balanced, and Grip. Drifting around corners is encouraged to achieve a faster lap time which can be frustrating for simulation players.

    (Tracks: 6) There are a lot of courses in Grid 2, unfortunately they are mostly point to point races instead of circuit courses. Granted, there are many variations of each circuit course, but this can lead to a bit on confusion on the first lap. Corner cutting has been implemented to punish those "cutting corners" by stalling your car... this is about as arcade as it gets. Also, corner cutting can be hit and miss, and sometimes you wonder why you're being punished...

    (Cars:6) There is a wide variety of cars to choose from in the game. Most of the cars are street cars (around 50% or 60%) and then the rest are rally cars, super cars, touring cars and a few GT cars. If you can master drifting then the first 2 tiers will almost always be yours since muscle cars can dominate straightaways with their power and fly around turns by drifting.

    (Single Player Mode: 3) Single player mode is pretty disappointing in the way its structured... its good for practice but feels like you're just going through the motions with no real rewards... You get fans instead of money and you don't even use them for anything... cars are readily given to you as you progress and the storyline is limited. Think of single player mode as practice for multiplayer mode.

    (Multiplayer Mode: 9) This is where Grid 2 begins to shine. Multiplayer is fun, frustrating, hilarious, intense, and rewarding. You start with a limited amount of cars and gain money by participating in races to buy more cars and even upgrade them. You can upgrade lower tier cars into the next tier which adds more variety to the mix. Up to 12 people can be in a race making them deep enough for overtaking to be fun and challenging but not necessarily impossible unless you're playing against well seasoned or lucky drivers. VOIP is integrated so bust out your headset and microphone. Level up to unlock newer cars, paint patterns, paint types (ie. Flip, Pearlescent), and sponsors. Granted, sponsors don't give you money, its just for looks.

    (Sequel Expectations: 1) This is not the semi-arcade/semi-simulation game most people were expecting for a title like Grid 2. If it wasn't for the title, being the sequel to Grid, the game might have fared better with rating community.

    (Overall: 7) Codemasters decided to go full arcade with an emphasis on graphics and sound making the driving experience very visually stimulating. Granted, the game lacks in the realism and physics department with things like tire wear, which makes it possible to ignore the consequences of drifting. Multiplayer entirely makes up for the lack achievement in single player mode. It took me a while to get over the lack of a view but in the end this game is a decent arcade driving game with great graphics.    … Expand

    Here are some better racing games for PC users: Almost any SIMBIN game, SIMRACEWAY (which is completely free and so are all the cars, technically speaking) Netkar Pro, AssettoCorsa (Preview only- but awesome), Live For Speed, rFactor 1 or 2, BMW M3 Challenge (free), Volvo-The Game (Free), iRacing (pretty expensive)

    They have lost my money on this game and I think more than 5% of the Grid players

    Here is my take on the game..I am into simulators and do not like arcade games where the physics do not represent reality. I think part of what keep the player immersed on the experience is the simulation.
    I have drove more than 2000 miles on these game and can tell that it a good one.     Lots of reviews here I bet played did not drove 100 miles on it..to say the game sucks..it takes some time until you get the hang of it..and also to adjust the Logitech G25 took me some time also. Have fun and see u there.!

    Every since Dirt 3 code master have been going down hill F1 is like a clone each year good but not enough for once a year .Showdown was a game for little kids .And now grid2 with no cam and just pure arcade simple gameplay. And dlc threw at you on day1.Hope they wake up and make some changes in management are else they will lose most of there fans ,Go back to what you do well Dirt sim/arcade

    GRID is my favourite racing game of this generation, foolishly pre-ordered GRID 2 and now I just feel sad. Sad, disappointed and used. Shame on you Codemasters, shame on you.

    It's not hard to find problems in the newest game GRID2 :- WHAT WRONG: 1.     It's not hard to find problems in the newest game GRID2 :-

    WHAT WRONG:
    1. Low end textures, even ultra settings use less than 1gb video ram! that just shouts low end port.

    2. Day zero DLC and likely more overpriced DLC down the line... a feature PC shouldn't be charged for as we don't have a used market for our games unlike consoles.

    3. Bugs galore such as crashing to desktop, framerate issues, controller lockups etc.

    4. No view, although modders have strived to fix that already.

    5. Lacking many famous tracks that previous titles all had.

    6. Weak dreary soundtrack that quickly gets turned off.

    BUT.... here's the thing... even with that taking all that into consideration, it's still one hell of a good online racing game, and here's why.

    WHAT'S RIGHT:-
    1. Shedloads of cars to buy and upgrade (notice many whingers say that it doesn't have it must have pirate copies since they all failed to mention that you CAN modify and customise cars in the multiplayer half of the game).

    2. Handling of the cars IS arcadey... but so was GRID1, anyone that says GRID1 was a sim racing is talking utter it never was close to being one and still isn't now. Even the older TOCA games were not really sim racing level, have a look at games due later in the year like project CARS or i-racing etc if you want sim racing you utter morons.

    3. Having no view is annoying maybe but who really gave a crap using it anyway? looked good on replays but even on sim racing games I play, I find having virtual wheels in front of my real wheel looks stupid, not to mention the field of view is always set for some short arse hobbit, I'm quite tall and in a real car I don't see the bloody wheel in front of my nose EVER!

    4. There are plenty of racing modes to offset the lack of tracks, many are new to the series.

    5. Want stock cars? go play Dirt Showdown.

    Overall I'm giving this a solid 80% because the game is great online, pirates moaning about lacking single player probably missing the point entirely... thats a training mode for multiplayer.    … Expand

But then, when i have finished first WSR and past to second league, everything started to become really bad.

    AI is so stupid, but the worst part is: This is not an "Racing" game, this is more like arcade action "Drifting" game with lots of crap put into it. Every car, from Ford Mustang to Nissan GT-R is drifting in corners. And that's the only way to make a turn. Later it becomes more boring, races become longer and everything makes less sense.

    Only thing that I really like in this game is optimization. Graphics is awesome, as well is optimization of the game.

    Seriously, I don't know what market were Codemasters targeting on. This game could be fun only to little 5 10 year old children, but I think that drifting is too complex for them. HUGE disappointment from Codemasters.    … Expand

    Really Ok, fancy graphisms. Ok, cool sound. But Un-drivable cars, stuttering sound, cheating AI, no possibility to deactivate the driving assistance. Big disappointment. Huge disappointment when considering that this is the next episode of the Grid series....

    This game is Anti Racing. it's rare that you will have a good clean race with other people. The game uses flashbacks online to reset crashes back into full speed. This creates moments where a car will magical spawn and then crash into other players that are behind them. Another thing I hate is Drifting with 95% of the cars is the fastest way around a turn. When you drift it goes into a slight automatic drift mode where you are able to keep a faster speed around a corner easily. This makes it impossible to have lots of overtakes because everyone is sideways and carrying so much corner entry speed. The graphics are console ported with high rest textures. The effects are cool, but the multiplayer is lacking in different tracks. I'm already bored with all of the tracks some of them are nice and others are easily forgettable. Not to mention you can't see lap times or see Record leaderboards for tracks in game. Don't waste money on this game instead you could buy Project Gothem 2 or 3 they are much better arcade racers then Grid 2.… Expand

To avoid this, the player must create a custom room and wait for others to join only to discover that leveling up in custom rooms is next to impossible since Codemasters (how dare they use that name!) has set XP in customDrift-obsessed arcade nonsense that is poorly ported to the pc.     Very nice graphics and it is only positive aspect in this game. I paid for pre-order and I was really looked forward thus my disappointment is bigger. I have played couple of hours, I did 100 online races and finally I give up. Game is not promoting good driving but pure aggression and destruction.     Absolutely fantastic driving game. I have come to not expect anything less of Codemaster at this stage as the Dirt series especially is one of my favourite game series ever due to the amazing replay factor. Grid 2 is simply a super-fun experience. I especially like the live routes idea, which makes for an unpredictable exciting experience (yes, even these can eventually be memorised, IAbsolutely fantastic driving game. I have come to not expect anything less of Codemaster at this stage as the Dirt series especially is one of my favourite game series ever due to the amazing replay factor. Grid 2 is simply a super-fun experience. I especially like the live routes idea, which makes for an unpredictable exciting experience (yes, even these can eventually be memorised, I know) and the amazing graphics add to the experience as well. Of course, this game is not for the realistic driving sim purists but I did not think that this was ever really implied.

    The only negative points about the game is perhaps the slightly moronic AI who can be easily passed by simply smashing through but then the car in first place seems to be the hardest to catch for some reason.

    Those faults are pretty minor and far outweigh the positive aspects of the game, so bottom line, this game is a fantastic, fun experience.    … Expand

    There are experiences we can have that, while not nourishing to every atom of our being, are still enjoyable for what they are. Having said that, there are good fries and bad fries.     I am not a fan of silly arcade racers. Neither do I enjoy mining my tire pressures in increments of half a pound for a thousandth of a second or needing to understand the intricacies of toe in, camber, caster, etc. etc. There are those that do. Grid 2 is not a simulation. Everyone knows this. Grid 2 may or may not be a silly arcade racer depending on the use its put to. Its possible to use the game, rather than it using you, and in that sense it is an enjoyable and very pleasing to look at and listen to racing game.
    If you could remove the mammoth drama of those who are hurt by Grid 2 not being more like Grid 1 (something possible only as a concept) and just enjoy Grid 2 for what it can do, well, we would have a much more boring review section, that's for sure. Some of the negative reviews are quite cleverly written. Some are bitter to an astounding degree. Oh well. That's show business    … Expand

That is the word I usually use to describe gas station food or my snowboarding ability, not a massively hyped, waited-forever-to-play-it video game. But yet, this game manages to attach that word to itself in my mind.

    On the surface of things, it has all kinds of potential. A deep career mode, online racing, Facebook and YouTube-esque social settings, new cars, new adaptable tracks, a host of new racing schools, and those stunning graphics. How could it possibly go wrong?

    Well, the career mode is possibly the biggest part of Grid 2 that Codemasters got wrong. Compared to the first Grid, where you could select what series you wanted to race, from the beginning-of-the-game-tier to the you-have-too-much-time-on-your-hands-tier, Grid 2 hands you a select few races that you must complete before they give you another set of select few races. While the races and series in Grid 2 provide some unique variety, there isn't the same kind of variety of Grid in which one minute I could be crossing the finish line at the Nurburgring short track, and lining up at a figure-8 demolition derby track the next.

    The car selection is another pain in both the online and career modes. You no longer purchase whatever car you want from a specific race discipline. You have to finish "Car Challenges" to unlock a car that you will use in the next set of races. The first time I saw this, I thought "Ok, I'd better pick a car that I will like at the end of this, because I won't be able to pick the other one...", but as soon as I was finished, another challenge popped up. "Wait... So I just have to do two challenges for two cars? Well, that doesn't place any importance on these decisions..."

    Speaking of the cars, I come to the driving physics. I have never personally driven a high performance car around a track, but if I ever get the chance to do it, I better hope that it doesn't behave like the cars in Grid 2. Every single car slides uncontrollably into the nearest immovable object. If I hadn't deliberately turned the car around and driven the wrong way around the track, I would have no choice but to think that every race was scripted, because I certainly didn't turn THAT direction. Or THAT direction. The cars are a nightmare to drive. Even if you come across one of the seemingly rare "Grip" oriented cars, if you try to trail brake into a corner, the back end tries to present itself to the nearest railing. And yes, that was an intended metaphor, since that is exactly how racing in Grid 2 feels.

    Once you finally get used to your rear bumper railings and manage to get the car around the track without totaling it, you can start to enjoy the graphics and some of the unique racing elements that have been added to Grid 2. There are race tracks that change over the course of the race, meaning you have no idea if the left turn you took last lap is still there, or has turned into a straight, or maybe it still is a left... *BANG*. Nope, it was a right. I enjoyed this particular race style the most as it keeps you on your toes, but it is not without it's flaws. Depending on the track and race length, some of the course changes will loop around, and you can still start to memorize the track. They also use Time Trial races, no doubt borrowing from Codemasters' own Dirt franchise, which is refreshing for the asphault-only drift-o-rama that Grid 2 is.

    The graphics however, are great. The reflections, shadows, and scenery are all spectacular. From rolling desert mountains, to twisting woodlands, and urban city-scapes, everything is on par to what I would expect if I drove through them at 120 MPH. Squirrels and rabbits will scamper across the road, flocks of birds will take flight as you drive past, and dirt, smoke and leaves swirl around the cars. All of this lends to create a very immersive environment which feels like you are actually driving past.

    However, once you get over the jaw dropping first impressions, the visual effects dull out and you start to notice certain things that begin to take away from the experience. The squirrel that runs past the same tree EVERY lap. Those birds fly away EVERY lap. Those bystanders are all waving their arms at the EXACT same time. The sun flare seems to be the exact same regardless of the view mode used. Some of the smoke and dust effects seem to bug up and pixelate instead of staying smooth. While not important by themselves, all of it added up breaks the environment's image.

    In the menus, things are not much more interesting than the first Grid. All of the attempted YouTube and Facebook imagery is nothing more than part of the rather shallow story. You can't watch videos of your last epic race, the social wall is nothing more than a repeating series of "Comments" from your competition that you can't respond to, and the available options are mostly zilch.

    Overall, while the game tried hard to take things to the next level, it feels unfinished. Codemasters, this game is mediocre.    … Expand

    Lets be clear, this game is not now, or never has been a Sim, so when you give the game a negative rating based on that, your wasting both your own time, and your negatively impacting other people who may not know that this game is not meant to be a sim.

    Lets look back at Grid 1, where you could get into a race where your going around a figure eight and desperately trying to avoid crashing into the other racers, was this a sim? How about the races where you have ramps and jump your car over others, while the next turn has you wrecking into your competition, was that a sim? No, the game was never a sim, so all the childish babies that are giving negative reviews are sad, infantile and sad.

    As a near forty year old gamer who understands the number system, 10 is supposed to be perfect, one is so broken and filled with bugs that it should not have been released. Five stood for average. Anything below a five was bad, but three and lower were reserved for abysmal failures. Yet here we are, people giving this fun game a 3, what a joke.

    I know what sim racing feels like, I have played every racing game since RC Pro Am. I know what arcade racing feels like, and I sure as hell know what rubber band AI is all about. Mario kart 7 is a great example of a game ruined by rubber bane AI, but not ruined into being a 3, its just not a ten. So rating this game as anything below seven or eight is flat out a simple minded, inconsiderate and truly childish attempt at skewing peoples opinions into avoiding a game that should be considered a great amount of fun for most people.

    Yes, it definitely does require you to use drifting, A Lot!, but as an arcade racer, I don't mind this and really enjoyed it because what they did was focus their tuning on the drifting and nailed it perfectly. The game is heads above most recent arcade racers, except for NFS Most Wanted. That will be the only game that I can honestly say is more fun.

    The game is challenging, there is no doubt. You are rarely going to race each event only one time. If you are a great racer, sure, its possible, but with little errors, you will usually place second, and want to try again. The events are way more fun when you have to play them using the hood view, as it gave me the sensation of playing out a movie like The Fast and the Furious. If you try to imagine that type racing, then you fully understand what your buying in this game. If you were thinking Gran Tourismo or perhaps Forza, then you are wasting your time.

    You will find a great mix of cars, both old and new. There are some classics such as the much loved Mustang, to the Charger used in the Dukes of Hazard. Of course you will find some hot hatchbacks, and older model Mercedes and BMW's, but you are also going to find newer supercars such as the Ariel Atom, a car which defies all logic by placing a small v8 into a tube frame car which has the power to weight ratio of a jet plane. lol

    The graphics are definitely nice. I have been playing the PS3 version, but just got the Steam key for the PC version. The game looks great. If you are looking for a fun arcade game, give this game a try.

    P.S. Ebay currently has a deal for 20 dollars per steam key, so at that price, if you don't buy it, your really missing out.    … Expand

    The game's handling is a bit on the drift racing side, but that makes it a different experience from the first GRID, if it had the same handling we'd all be complaining that it's the same game but with better graphics! There's no point making the same game over and over.

    The damage system I feel works really well on a visual level and it's ok how it effects the car's performance but it could be more punishing.

    There's a great selection of cars and tracks and the variety is great. A lot of racing game's have the same old car's and there's some fairly unusual choices in GRID 2.

    The multiplayer is fun and more challenging than the single player campaign and it's nice that it's completely seperate ie you have to unlock all the cars separately in single player and multiplayer and they use different systems to do so. There is a problem with pile ups on the first corner, but if you back off and keep your racing clean for a few races then you'll soon be grouped with much cleaner drivers thanks to the great matchmaking system.

    I used to be a massive need for speed fan, but now can't stand them, they are far too arcade and offer no challenge whatsoever and shift 2 was just unplayable on the pc.
    GRID 1 is more challenging and more original but GRID 2 is possible more "fun".
    In my opinion GRID 1 is probably the better of the two games considering when it was released but this isn't far behind and is a completely different beast.

    The amount of content in GRID 2, the excellent multiplayer and the new liveroutes system should keep players interested for quite some time and at around £22 on steam this is a bargain when compared to some games.    … Expand

    Every situation in GRID 2 feels the same, and there is a reason. Having collected more than 50 cars in my virtual garage, I can’t point out my favorite ones – they all behave the same way, without any distinctive quirks of ‘character’. And locations that repeat ad nauseum only make this feeling worse.

    GRID 2 is an action-packed and intense experience, where the cars behave like in a Hollywood movie. It is an entertaining arcade racer, but there are a few flaws. The AI is weak, the number of tracks should be higher and the game is too simplified in a few areas.
