    A fresh and refreshing take on the souls-like genre with beautiful art and an interesting world.

    The combat in the game is actually really good considering how basic it is, the developers really deserve a lot of credit for implementing this well.
    However, many of the game's different mechanics soil the experience overall. The areas themselves drag on for waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long which changes them from novel to just annoying and a drag. Alongside that, this game sprinkles one-hit KO's and other 'difficulty' enhancers just about everywhere which is a really cheap and annoying way to make the game more difficult.
    The bosses themselves are very interesting but to get to them you need to get through 100 rooms that look the same with the same 3 enemies which is an absolute slog. Also the backtracking that is sometimes needed is just boring.    … Expand
