    I thought that this game was ok, I was really excited when I got it. It was fun at first but then it got harder and the thing that pulled me down is that little helicopter mission to bomb the construction site. Sort of hard on a laptop that may not have Num lock keys. The graphics could had been a little bit better and more things to do.

    Yeah, this is cool. I like this even better than GTA 3. what to say, radio is very cool and also posibility to play mp3. But the best thing of game is that it can really work on slow PC's (i mean Duron 600 with 128 RAM it goes almost without slowing down). Cool...

    This game is better than the original. The game runs faster at the same resolution than the previous game...amazing considering how much better the graphics are in VC. You have to get this game--it's a must have!

    This game is better then Grand Theft Auto 3 and that in this game the cars and trucks look much more better then before and theft the FBI really use different cars. THIS GAME IS THE BEST IT ALSO A MUST BUY GAME.

    10? Try 11. This game somehow manages to be even better than GTA III. The world is even more chaotic and allows even more freedom. The story and characters are given some color this time around. The combat system gets a much-needed kick in the pants, which is good because you'll spend much more time shooting and much less time driving in this game than in GTA III. The combat system 10?     Truly one of the greats. Fire it up for a speed run and marvel at the congruity of the story and the variety of the missions. Worth getting back into it for joey's nos mod alone. Not as big as San An, but a more concise and directed experience, and probably more intriging.

    I believe this is a better GTA than GTA V but it's not a 10 for me, maybe 9.5, but unfortunately we don't have that here, so I give it a 9 out of 9.

    Best GTA EVER!!!! There is no one like Vice City. Perfect storyline, epic characters, beatiful city, and amazing music and environment!
    One of the best games of the story, and best GTA.

    We all know what we downloaded this game for. Fantastic music, great story, and crude GTA humor. Overall, the transition to PC was done alright. Only had some minor problems with mouse sensitivity acting weird. As well as another problem which forces you to apply the frame limiter display option or the car controls/mechanics wouldn't function properly.     This game is classic. We know all the gameplay that makes already a lot of fun. In addition Rockstar knows how to write funny and interesting characters, that you get to know in this game. It fits, that many elements are political incorrect and are funny. I appreciate, that the game duration is perfect: not too long, not too short. Graphics... there are mods outside, you them and Vicy CityThis game is classic. We know all the gameplay that makes already a lot of fun. In addition Rockstar knows how to write funny and interesting characters, that you get to know in this game. It fits, that many elements are political incorrect and are funny. The art design and the perfect music makes the atmosphere one of the best in all PC games.

    Grand theft auto vice city is the second best grand theft auto but it has a strong story and really good graphics for how old it is. I would recommend this game to any one who like grand theft. auto and anyone who likes violence.

    I first played this game in 2006 and it got me addicted. I finished the whole game with and without cheats. This game never gets old. I love its every successor. I am really waiting for GTA 6

    This must be my second favorite game of all time. I still remember my amazement after seeing this jewel at my friend's house for the first time. Great graphics, great gameplay, great story, but most of all, amazing soundtrack and 80's atmosphere. Yes, the atmosphere in this game is truly something else, I could cruise around the city for hours in my sports car listening to the radio notThis must be my second favorite game of all time.     Control and graphics are very aged, but if you can bear with that (or install HD mods), it is an amazing game with great atmosphere and music. No other GTA game comes close to that. Every part of this game shows you why 80s was an amazing era.

    I played this game in the past for hours on end and recently re-bought it on Steam because I no longer got the original to work on Windows 7.

    It's a classic, with tons of things to do, a big open world (they even say its the biggest next to GTA V) and a "back to the eighties" feeling with cool music on the various radio stations.

    I remember playing this game when I was like 5 years old.. LOL. Fun. Probably the best GTA game in my opinion. Tommy killed it. Don't know why they didn't bring him back. The graphics are great, and the story.. just incredible.

    Vice City is actually one of the best games created. Honestly it really is inspiritat from movies such as Scarface, Goodfellas, Godfather, Miami Vice and many altele..Acest genre is a masterpiece. Rockstar Games knows better how to attract players.

    This is like a nostalgic review from me. I liked the story and the missions. The music, cars and the claw hands. This is my favourite GTA entry of all time. before i even get to touch GTA V. for now. I'm waiting for you GTA V next year!

    - Bad: bugs, flying, map, mission tracking, ui

    Good game, aged pretty well. Driving is very fun and missions are varied. The only bad things in this game are bugs and glitches, flying is also very annoying. Mission tracking doesnt exist and map is pretty bad. Overall i would recommend even now, in 2016. :)

    Great game, great soundtrack and so many hours of fun as a kid playing this. I remember it so fondly that even the Definitive trilogy cant dampen my love for it.

    The Vice City & Vice City Stories have the best feeling & climate in all of the GTA history, sure they never have that much features that have San Andreas but I liked this games !

    Si hay algo que adoro de GTA (a parte de su jugabilidad y poder hacer lo que te de la gana) son las emisoras de radio. Y este juego en particular, es una jodida maravilla conducir con tu coche escuchando canciones clásicas de los 80. La historia de Tommy Vercetti, una obra de arte.

    GTA Vice City is a gaming masterpiece with pretty advanced graphics for 2002/2003 that tries to make an 80's Miami feel to it. I DEFINITELY Recommend you get this game.

    The 80's setting is lovely, the licensed soundtrack is legendary, the story is very enjoyable, characters are pretty well written and interesting, with solid voice acting to boot. Love the Scarface inspiration for Tommy's character arc. The 80's Miami based open world offers a reasonably diverse and interesting sand box in which to get lost in and cause chaos.

    Where the game for me starts to give anger issues when it comes to the shooting mechanics, with mouse aiming, they're so bloody inprecise and unintuitive, it makes you fail plenty of missions, as the enemies are more than good when it comes to hitting you. Sticking to unbalanced enemy AI, Tommy's health can run out extremely fast, even with armor, there are missions where enemies just swarm you or hit you from god knows where on the map. I kinda wish the game had PS2's lock on aim as side option on the PC. Then there is also an annoying issue with mouse even working, you have to pause/unpause the game a couple of times in order for it to work, something that was evident in San Andreas aswell on PC, only in a worse manner than in Vice City. Then there is a severe graphical issue in the form of road reflections during rainy weather, they're not present in the PC version, where as they are on the PS2, nice job R*.

    Even if it can be pretty annoying at times, battling with the PC version's faults, the game is still a good fun. Though it makes me want even more to play it on the PS2 where the true amazingness of the game can be unlocked and experienced.    … Expand

    Grand Theft Auto Vicecity is a classical example how a great open world third person shooter should be. The game is simply a masterpiece and got everything correct, from its soundtrack to story telling and a great gameplay for 2002 standards.

    Absolutely great. While not on the caliber of San Andreas and V, this game is very close. Better than III in every regard, Vice City had it all and was not afraid to show it.

    Nothing beats driving around Vice City listening to great music. I didn't play Vice City, I lived it. Can't really tell how many hours or how many times I've played it over the last 15 years.

    Un juego bastante bueno, la canciones cuando estas en los coches de mp3, son bastantes buenas.
    Lo único malo que le veo al juego, es que no puedas nadar pero es lo de menos. El juego se disfruta bastante manejando por la ciudad y haciendo las misiones y esta todo bastante bien gran juego.

It will be interesting to look after 15 years as it will look and be perceived GTA 4-5, but Vice City will remember for a long time, exactly how to play, thanks RockStar for this masterpiece!

    Vice City is the first GTA game I have ever played and one of my first gaming experiences. I probably shouldn't at such a young age, but I do not care now.
    The game is really fun and the story is OK, but I hate the remote helicopter level. It does not impact the review, I just need you to know that. I have many great memories of this game in my youngster years.

    Incredibly cool game of its time. In addition to the main plot and many small side-quests, it was possible to play it literally forever by inventing activities for yourself on the open spaces of the great gaming city. It was big, beautiful and atmospheric, playing 100% of all its zones.
    A truly open gaming world of the early 2000s.

    The game of our childhood. While the open world doesn't offer much variety, it's fun to drive or create chaos, but good storytelling is what this game is all about. The play tells the misadventures and rise of Tommy Vercetti in Vice City. The game tells the story of the mob and vagrant culture in 86 quite well in its story. Definitely the story should be played at least once.

    Just another masterpiece by Rockstar Games. Every single GTA game has this "MUST-PLAY" certificate here on Metacritic on every single platform like PC, XBOX and PlayStation, coincidence? I don't think so. You have no choice but to buy every single one of them. You must play.

    One of the best games ever. I encountered this game around 2005-06, and all I had played back then were Mortal Kombat, Doom games and Roadrash along with some flash games. This was my introduction to an open world game, and my first experience with this game was simply astounding. Surely, things have gotten better with time, but I don't think even the finest GTA games will ever make me love this game any less. I have loved the entire storyline of the game. I absolutely love almost every one of the missions, especially the ones which involve some kind of killing, intimidating and/or heist. And, not before this, had I seen a game giving tribute to movies. A mission involving bank heist (one of my favorites), had a tribute to Friday the 13th. A "Love Juice" mission (I don't remember the name of the mission, again, the final one) has a tribute to "Speed". Still I have tiny little problems with this game - perhaps the most generic ones. The protagonist cannot swim. He can survive jumping off a 200 ft building, but cannot swim. That has caused many difficulties to me in certain missions. Also, some missions are too unnecessarily difficult. The Driver, Demolition Man - in particular. Not just difficult, they aren't as thrilling as other missions like Phnom Pneh, Bank Job, and other missions we get at Diaz's, Cortez's and other places. Hell, random rampage missions are much better. On the whole, not a fan of racing missions at all. They have proven to be some stupid hurdles to me for getting to next exciting mission. But apart from that, I love every single bit of this game!!

You're dealing coke, fighting gangs, driving sportscars, wearing the perfect palm shirt, can do whatever the **** you want and you're doing it while 'Africa', 'Dance Hall Days' and 'Owner of a Lonely Heart' is playing on the radio.     I had a chance to play this game in 2005. I still remember how much I enjoyed it! One of the best games I have ever played in my life! Probably 30-40hrs on record.

Игра которая на тот момент совмещала в себе разбой, гонки, сексуальных даже в то время по графике девушек и что за все что ты сделаешь плохого, тебя накажет доблестная полиция. Бесспорно одна из самых важных частей.     The game is better than GTA 3 and worse than GTA San Andreas. If someone tells you that Demolition Man is the hardest mission - do not believe them. It is not. There are more challenging missions in the game.

    Some of the missions are a bit buggy and confusing but other than that this is a classic. Awesome 80's atmosphere, great characters, and cozy setting. Too bad Rockstar took this off steam in favor of the **** remaster.

    O melhor GTA seguido do San Andreas.

    A melhor playlist de rádios, a atmosfera dos anos 80 nesse jogo é surreal, ainda mais para a época que foi lançada lá em 2002, nesse ponto, a Take Two (com Rockstar e 2K) é incrível.

    Espero muito que o GTA VI seja em Vice City com transição dos tempos (anos 80 e tempos atuais) como aponta os rumores.

    One of the first games I ever played.Having first voice protagonist and such a map for 2003 it was really revolutionary at the time.Also storyline was quite good it had few shortcomings but nothing too much.What makes this game great is that it managed to perfectly capture Miami 80-s atmosphere.Inspired by film and TV classics Miami Vice and Scarface.

    When i first played it, i skipped all the cutscenes but still liked it. When i replayed it without skipping the cinematics, i liked it even more. 10 out of 10 for me. Just take it.

    Until recently, I could not complete this game until the end, but, having mastered it, I did it. I don’t like this part of GTA, I didn’t really like the plot, for me it seemed somehow boring and banal. Good thing the plot was very small! Inconvenient management, these stupid uninteresting tasks with business. This game is worth playing only because of the amazing atmosphere of the city.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Tommy Vercetti is one of the best characters in the GTA saga. I loved his personality and it is clearly one of the strengths of this game! On the other hand the secondary characters are very poorly developed, but that's normal considering it's a 2002 game. The fact that we have to buy several properties, ruins the course of the game a bit as we feel stuck having to do the properties missions (which are actually good), but we feel we haven't made any progress in the story, and it's a bit drying.… Expand

    Best of all, the numerous bugs and glitches that brought the PS2 version down a notch have been cleaned up and eliminated, for the most part. Enemies no longer shoot you through solid walls, you no longer randomly lose health while running, and cars remain in your garage until you take them out.
