    Thanks to this game I can't even play rdo because the launcher was down for like a day or more. Can't play a single player game if not online. This must be a joke.

    Biggest disappointment of the year so far. I could live with the bad models and the rest of the graphics problems of the remasters, but besides bad graphics, the games has just a bunch of technical problems. Optimization is awfull and they're just full of bugs. And knowing who was involved in these remasters, I don't even have any hope for patches.

    Added 2 points for music. A terrible game, when you want to feel the atmosphere of the game, you are greeted by bugs, many bugs due to which you lose missions. Due to one bug, I cannot complete the mission "Arms Dealer". I didn't feel any emotions when I passed. I am silent about the price and faces of the characters.

    Может ли Rockstar сделать плохо? Такой вопрос посещал абсолютно каждого заинтересованного фаната серий GTA и RDR. К сожалению, ответ перед вашими глазами. Если игру оценивать с точки зрения "ремастера", а не "ремейка", как ошибочно все считают, то он получился неплохим. Но с учётом прошлого опыта студии в плане разработки игр завышенные ожидания общественности и конский ценник сыграли свою роль в успехе данного переиздания. Несомненным его плюсом является качество по сравнению с другими модами для этой трилогии игр про великого автоугонщика. Как бы грустно это не звучало, но это, по моему мнению, единственный весомый плюс. Проблем у этого ремастера хоть отбавляй. Начиная от плохой оптимизации и уничтожения атмосферы до цензуры и наглядной спешки Groove Street Games побыстрее закончить этот проект. Я не зря выше сравнил

But you know, probably the schoolboy would at least have done it with more soul than the developers of this garbage can. Needless to say, free mods look much better and more aesthetically pleasing.     Gráficos do cenário até que está interessante, porém os gráficos dos personagens estão horrendos e com esse valor exorbitante de 320 reais é complicado pra 3 jogos de mais de 15 anos, com esse remaster tosco e cheio de bugs que as vezes atrapalham muito a gameplay

    que cojones es esto? no se puede jugar en pc desde el cliente de rockstar, no se puede terminar la historia de vice city por un bug y gran parte de los 3 juegos se ha hecho por programas que automáticamente te cambian hasta el texto para ponerlo en el nuevo motor grafico en vez de una persona escriba 4 putos carteles...

    Dont buy this. Within my first hour of gameplay I came across countless character bugs and texture issues, some parts of the map have clipping disabled so you just fall through the ground into a void. The NPC's are somehow worse than the original game. They removed a bunch of songs from the radio as well. This remaster is a testimate to how greedy rockstar has become. They hired the sameDont buy this.     What a pig remaster, while Halo and other games did remaster level remaker, Rockstar pushes us a mod with a remaster look, if you can call it a mod, as it's worse than the mods. I'm playing this crap just because I'm a fan of GTA, thank goodness MS made the game available for free, I would never pay more 10 dollars for a horrible thing like that.

    After discovering that the game had released on Twitter, because the launcher is so generic that it is not capable of telling you when the release is, or updating without a reboot after launch to reflect that the game has been released.

    The PC release was much better, for the 3 hours I got to experience it before the launcher was taken down for "maintenance".

    The maintenance is now over, and the game is no longer able to purchase, or play, even though I pre-ordered the game. It was totally removed from my library because they rushed their launch and somehow included files that weren't supposed to be there, because there was literally no quality control at all. I guess that's what you get when a studio known for the horrible mobile ports is responsible for this mess, and a publisher that only cares about shark card revenue these days. I wonder why the producers of GTA left R* Games.

    The audio quality is horrible. Did R* somehow lose the master recordings? They certainly didn't record the audio on a potato. As a matter of fact, the audio we were given is the original compressed audio, compressed again for some reason. The 10th anniversary edition has better quality audio. I guess it's up to the fans to fix that though.

    The graphics are great, sometimes. They are very inconsistent. Some characters look great, others look extremely messed up. The rain effect is horrible. It looks like the equivalent of a snapchat filter.

    The environment in San Andreas in particular feels very different. Some of the effects were totally messed up, such as the NOS effect. The blur effect is literally what made the NOS feel like you were going faster. The lack of clouds makes flying feel very weird, and also being on tall buildings as you can see the other cities without a problem. When in the air, or on a skyscraper, you can see just how square the map is because there is no fog at all, it makes it feel very unnatural in contrast to the original release.

    This review was based on 3 hours of gameplay. I wish I could have gave a more thorough review, but they took the game away from me.    … Expand

    So I'm not going ALL-HATE with this product but I'm going to be fair a honest. With as much money ROCK* harvested on Shark-Cards, they could afford to do more with this. Their reason for not doing enough is "we wanted to keep the old look, the old models... the old feel".     Most people care about the bugs, but I care more about what the game will be once they fix the bugs - the original game with a few new textures. That's it.     I thought it is impossible to make remaster worse than warcraft 3 refunded, but rockstar did it. This game is even worse. Low fps, all old bugs + tons of new, horrible compressed sounds, and cherry on a cake - new models and textures generated by ml. Looks really bad    … Expand

    Como pode um jogo do inicio dos anos 2000, rodar a 30 FPS em um console de ultima geração. No minimo desde a versao do PS4 base deveria rodar com tudo no maximo. ja vimos outros remaster que fizeram muito mais que esse.

    qualidade das texturas esta horrivel, GTA v roda muito melhor nos consoles da 8° geração doque esse dos anos 2000. isso mostra que a empresa que fez esse port não    Como pode um jogo do inicio dos anos 2000, rodar a 30 FPS em um console de ultima geração.     i bought these games only for the nostalgic, just seeing the texture updates and lightning updates on GTA VC made me smile. So this clearly breaks my heart.
    Release time for me was 2 PM, and i couldn't download it until about 5 PM. So after all that wait i played a few hours with joy then it was immediately taken down, thanks a lot Rockstar. Last time i preorder any of your products that's for sure.    … Expand

Apesar de o mapa ser pequeno, cada região tinha sua característica, San Andreas era ensolarada, San Fierro era composta por um clima mais nublado, Las Ventura era ensolarada e bem iluminada a noite, entre outros diversos detalhes.

    Isso tudo foi totalmente destruído no remaster, isso, pois desta vez todo o gráfico    Atmosfera, era um dos principais pontos do jogo em relação ao gráfico.     Isso tudo foi totalmente destruído no remaster, isso, pois desta vez todo o gráfico acabou ficando com características desagradáveis e desequilibradas como sombras totalmente escuras, iluminação totalmente clara, sem um equilíbrio no contraste, e isso, em todas as regiões do mapa. Além disso, todo o visual ganhou um tom muito saturado.

    O draw distance está ampliado, porem, sem sensação de profundidade, tudo muito nítido passando um ar surrealista. Isso, pois na realidade o horizonte tem partículas, neblina, que impedem a visualização nítida da paisagem a distância.

    É possível perceber que certos horários no jogo chegam a quase ter um equilíbrio no contraste luz e sombra, porem isso varia muito, mostrando uma falta de atenção nos detalhes, tendo então um visual inconsistente.

    Vale ressaltar que mudanças aconteceram na primeira versão de pc, onde na versão de playstation 2 existia um clima mais alaranjado e na de pc não. Porem, mesmo diferente, a alteração manteve uma boa atmosfera, diferente desta nova versão remasterizada.

    Posso dizer que se fosse outro jogo, como, por exemplo, um indie, o gráfico em si não seria tão ruim, porem, é um jogo icônico, e de uma empresa multimilionária.    … Expand

    This remaster is an absolute disrespect towards the gta nostalgics. Games is fulla bugs and glitches, the graphics isn't necessary bad but it is awkward and the art direction for this remaster just feels weird. And therefore, it is by no means an faithful recreation of the original games' experience. Do not buy this, do not play this, it is not worth your money and it is not worth your time.

    This thing is somewhere on the level of The Room. It’s so bad it’s good.

    I’ll start with the problems this trilogy has (and I hope at least some of them will be fixed in the future): 1. Design decisions are pretty questionable. This trilogy is trying to be “cartoony” but there are realistic vegetation models and textures as well as super detailed normal maps. 2. Some environmental    This thing is somewhere on the level of The Room. It’s so bad it’s good.

    I’ll start with the problems this trilogy has (and I hope at least some of them will be fixed in the future):
    1. Design decisions are pretty questionable. This trilogy is trying to be “cartoony” but there are realistic vegetation models and textures as well as super detailed normal maps.
    2. Some environmental models look ok but some have very stretched textures (which can be fixed in 5 minutes by editing the UV map)
    3. 90% of the characters obviously look bad visually and don’t have any details. But I think the main problem here is awful model rigging. Most of the characters look like they were rigged by a beginner.
    4. A lot of the textures were just AI upscaled with no editing. Most of those textures look like a high-res mess. I think upscaling a 256x256 texture up to 1024x1024 is not a good idea.
    5. Vehicle models have increased polygon count. It should be a good thing, right? Well increasing polycount for a 2001 model without adding any details is like increasing polycount for a cube. A cube with 6144 polygons visually is still identical to a cube with just 6 polygons.
    6. Vehicles don’t have a visually working suspension. Most of the cars is just 4 wheels and a floating body. Which is not that bad for a car like Cheetah but not for something like BF Injection. Also a funny thing, BF Injection actually has a modelled suspension but it doesn’t function as it’s supposed to, it’s just “glued” to the car body.
    7. Draw distance is very low for some game objects. For example, cars still appear out of thin air like it was in the original trilogy.
    8. Lack of atmospheric mist. In the original trilogy there was always a fog which masked the actual size of the map so it seemed to a player that maps were bigger than they actually were. Here you can see the whole square map which looks like a small toy.
    9. I’ve also encountered a model with inverted normals... in a 60$ game. I’m talking about a garage door at the Vercetti Estate. It also had a broken origin point so it went through the building when being opened.
    10. Lance model in a cop outfit wasn't updated... yeah.

    But in my opinion there are some things that were done right:
    1. Some models look really good: vegetation, small interior details, some furniture and some outdoor objects.
    2. Some textures weren’t AI upscaled but were redrawn instead. Most of these textures look pretty nice.
    3. Most of the buildings are remade pretty well. Fake interiors make buildings look like actual buildings instead of boxes with texture applied like it was in the original.
    4. Lighting and reflections are undoubtedly very good (even though it kinda breaks the original atmosphere sometimes). But I think you should thank Unreal Engine for this and not really Grove Street Games.

    Conclusion: I personally think that some people worked really hard on this and tried their best (look at the pharmacy in Vice City for example). But a lot of the things here are made very poorly. I feel like it was outsourced to Grove Street Games and they have outsourced a lot of the stuff to other people.    … Expand

    Hello there, Rockstar did a bad thing , this company assigned Grove Street games to make this remaster ! And also Grove Street games ruined this fantastic and nostalgic series of GTA ..... Lot's of bugs and glitches , not only the past glitches which on old GTA series resolved , but many glitches added ! That was a shame for rockstar games especially CJ's girlfriend face !!

Ulan 2004 yılının oyununda bile karakterlerin dokularının en azından bi derinliği, bi anlamı vardı. Siz onud a s*kmişsiniz. Bu sürümü almak için bir sebep yok.     Definitely not worth the full price that is being asked for it, full of bugs that weren't in the original versions of the games, ugly character models and very poorly optimized. In addition to Rockstar having removed the originals from the store, as if these were the "definitive" way to play these classics. I don't recommend this game to anyone.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
