Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok is a commendable expansion, offering more of the same engaging gameplay, which is a compliment here. It revitalizes both early and endgame content with new challenges. The expansion introduces boss-focused encounters with unique mechanics and roguelike Confluence missions that blend combat, platforming, and memory tests, adding variety beyond traditional arenas. While the cinematic presentation and character progression are strong, the intense grinding, especially for new players facing a significant power gap, can be a drawback.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok takes a good game and makes it even better. The reworked and expanded cast are a ton of fun to use, the story is a blast, and the summons and master traits truly change up combat and party composition.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink — Endless Ragnarok is more of what I wanted from Cygames, and its expansion is meaty with tons of thoughtful decisions made that make sense. Whether I'm exploring the Sky Realm while learning six new characters or entering The Conflux to grind out new materials and gear, I'm consistently having a blast with this game. Even if the main story isn't up to par with the base game, it warrants a return because the gameplay really is that good and even now, 100-plus hours later, there's something new to discover. And thankfully, all the new bosses provide a real and hard-hitting challenge — which will have you itching to get back into the fight with every loss.

Endless Ragnarok brings a lot of cool fights and content to Relink and, if you haven’t jumped into this ARPG, this expansion effectively joins the base game at a great price. If you’re an existing player and were a fan of the base game, Endless Ragnarok will be for you! If you enjoyed your time with Relink and felt as though you’ve had enough of its loop, this expansion ultimately might not really do much for you.

Endless Ragnarok makes a good game better as it brings forth tons of quality-of-life improvements as well as brand new modes and a new story to fight through. While still suffering from some of the same narrative issues Relink had, the plethora of challenges and new playable characters will give long-time Relink players a reason to come back. New players will be able to experience the most complete Relink package, highlighting the game's satisfying combat first and foremost.

Endless Ragnarok builds on what Relink was already good at, making it even better. It adds nearly double the content of the base game, giving players more enemies to beat and materials to grind for. While the narrative is forgettable, the added gameplay systems, combined with its great overall presentation, make it one of the best co-op action RPGs on the market right now, and it’s well worth the price.

As a whole, Endless Ragnarok feels like more Granblue Fantasy: Relink, and I mean that as a positive. The story is decent, the characters are charming, and all play incredibly well, and there's seemingly an incredible amount of content here that I'm still yet to dive into. If you're fond of Relink, I can't recommend Endless Ragnarok enough, but it's definitely not going to change your mind if it didn't interest you initially.

Final impressions of Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok are heavily tied to how you feel about the original game. Liked it and enjoyed clearing the endgame content? Then grab the DLC without hesitation — another 50–100 hours of fun monster-slaying action are guaranteed. Enjoyed the story but not a fan of grinding? Then it's better to skip it.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink's major expansion, Endless Ragnarok, greatly expands the game with an impressive amount of new content. The time and effort required to fully build a character have now increased several times over. New characters, the summon system, new bosses, and the solo roguelike mode all offer substantial, high-quality additions. While the Chaos difficulty features too many reused enemies and the story presentation leaves something to be desired, Endless Ragnarok still delivers 20 to 50 or more hours of additional gameplay.

The Endless Ragnarok expansion picks up seamlessly where the main game left off, telling a solid story that promises around 20 to 25 hours of additional gameplay while introducing exciting new features. Whether it’s the "Conflux" roguelike mode, the summoning mechanic, the six new party members, the new Master Trait system, or the numerous new bosses, fans are sure to be satisfied. The long-awaited addition of crossplay also earns a thumbs-up. However, the fact that local co-op is exclusive to the Switch 2 version – and that the Conflux mode doesn't support co-op at all – is baffling.

Endless Ragnarok isn’t a game changer for Granblue Fantasy: Relink, but it does stock the base game with better-balanced and deeper endgame gameplay. There’s not much new in terms of story, and there’s a fair bit of reskinning and rehashing going on, yet this is a smart expansion for a relatively breezy RPG experience.

Endless Ragnarok makes Granblue Fantasy: Relink feel like a more complete game thanks to its various additions, including harder boss fights and a simple roguelite mode for mindless currency grinding.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok is a great expansion to an already excellent action RPG. The new additions add thoughtful challenges and new strategic options that are helpful when it comes to surviving the onslaught of endgame content. It’s important to keep in mind, however, that this is the kind of addition that is meant for those who have already dug deep enough into the experience and those who haven’t yet will not get much out of it without some hours of grinding to get there.

Granblue Fantasy Relink Endless Ragnarok ultimately feels like the culmination of an already rich and generous title, further expanding each of its mechanics without altering its core nature.

A massive expansion for Skyfarers returning to the endless skies. The overhauled farming mechanics and the introduction of the Summons system add new depth to combat, while six highly distinct new characters and challenging new bosses shake things up. However, a progression system still heavily reliant on the Damage Cap and a boss lineup mostly consisting of familiar faces from the base game leave something to be desired.

A little over two years after the game's release, Granblue Fantasy Relink: Endless Ragnarok stands out as a model of generosity and an essential expansion for action-RPG enthusiasts. By intelligently tweaking the difficulty and introducing the "Chaotic Void" mode, Cygames demonstrates its willingness to listen to the community and address the shortcomings of the original experience. Admittedly, the expansion doesn't eliminate the structural stiffness of the base game, nor its understated storytelling or battles that occasionally clutter the screen. Yet, with its massive roster and colossal amount of content offered at an attractive price, this return to Zegagrande serves as a reminder of just how underrated Granblue Fantasy Relink is. In short, it is a sure bet for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Granblue Fantasy Relink: Endless Ragnarok adds so much to not just the endgame but the whole experience that it feels like a 2.0 release.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok is a worthwhile expansion that prioritizes meaningful gameplay additions over storytelling. While its narrative rarely leaves a lasting impression, the Conflux roguelite mode, excellent new playable characters, rewarding progression systems, and satisfying combat enhancements breathe new life into an already stellar action RPG. Fans looking for more reasons to master ReLink's endgame won't be disappointed.

Endless Ragnarok has a lot to offer. New difficulty, new mechanics and characters, on top of a very replayable roguelike mode, mean that this is a worthwhile addition to a game already brimming with content.

Endless Ragnarok is an unexpected, but extremely welcome expansion that builds upon the foundations of Granblue Fantasy: Relink with plenty of fun, meaty content for fans to sink their teeth into. Be warned that there is a rather steep difficulty curve to get to grips with, especially for returning players who haven't touched this game in ages. Once you get past that, however, Relink will have its hooks in you all over again before you even realize it's happening.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok is an excellent expansion given its relatively short two-year development turnaround. It capitalizes and expands on what made Relink’s endgame loop compelling, but it does so at the cost of a lackluster narrative. There are a myriad of new ways to build its now 28 playable characters, and the moment-to-moment action is even more addictive than the base game. I hope that a full-fledged sequel to Relink will come eventually, because I crave more, but I want one to be built from the ground up with the lessons they learned from the first Relink, rather than another expansion that tries to apply additional band-aids over it.

If you loved Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Endless Ragnarok gives you plenty of reasons to jump back in, with playable summons, deeper character builds, a fun roguelite mode, new characters, and cross-platform multiplayer that make the endgame far more engaging. The story doesn't quite recapture the charm and pacing of the original campaign, but the gameplay upgrades more than make up for it.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok answers a lot of the complaints I had with the base game and adds a ton more to do in the game. If you haven’t played Granblue Fantasy: Relink before, this is the perfect time to get the game and the expansion, as it is still an amazing experience.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok is an excellent expansion that makes the game even more fun, while improving the brutal endgame grind. By introducing a brilliant single-player roguelite mode alongside the most challenging content to date, game-changing character traits and giving Lyria an active role in combat, Cygames has exceeded expectations once again, delivering a must-get for newcomers and veterans alike.

Endless Ragnarok is very much worth playing through, not only because of characters like Fediel and Maglielle, who will have you rethinking how you tackle the game’s encounters entirely, but also because of the flashy new fights and new grinds available, as well as the extremely fun summoning system.
