This is really amazing. Geography lessons will never be the same. It's one of those old model globes made life-sized.

Being a giant and dragging the world around below you makes you feel like a god. Dragging the sun across the sky doubly so. Seeing the whole world floating in front of you makes you realize how small it is. All the little buildings look so toy-like until you zoom right

Being a giant and dragging the world around below you makes you feel like a god. Dragging the sun across the sky doubly so. There's no search function yet. Loading geometry is a bit slow on a slow connection (10Mbit), but it gets there eventually. Sound design and the user interface are both excellent. Zooming in until everything is life-sized around you reveals lots of geometrical artifacts. Nothing ever moves, either. Would be 11/10 if you could meet and explore with other people.

I never realized that my entire neighborhood has so many backyard swimming pools.

An easy 10. Fly around Manhattan, go to Disney World, stand in your own back garden, drive your way to work. The choice is yours. Super chill music too.

Just amazing in every way. If you have a VR headset and haven't tried this, then you are crazy!
