    Thank god I'm only borrowing this from a friend, I wasn't dumb enough to go blow $20 on it. This is one lousy excuse for a FPS. Obviously the development team doesn't want you to use anything but the pistol (a lame one at that). When the cannons blow up, they disintegrate into thin air and cease to exist, not a single scrap of wood or steel is left. (If i set off a H-bomb that would be understandable but a crude Civil War hand grenade?) This is the first Civil War FPS I've seen but its just about as good as another AOL-cd coaster.… Expand

    A poor effort of recreating a good movie, with weak graphics, poor controls (the mouse sensitivity is WAY too high), frequent bugs and crashes, terrible AI and poor mission design. Not worth buying, and I hope metacritic takes a look at all these suspicious 10s, all of which appear to have been marked on the same day. There is certainly no way anyone in their right mind could give this a ten.

    This game shocked me with its gorgeous interface. He's great! When I played this wonderful game, I got an irresistible pleasure. Games like max Payne 3 can not be compared to this awesome game. My opinion is 10/10. This game should be on top.

    it's an amazing game with great graphics and storyline, perfect for the study of history and time spending. is unique to date and recommended for installation

    The best game which I played over the last 5 years, very dynamic and very fascinating game with a bewitching plot, with excellent graphics and music which transfers all events of these years, and very much reminds Max payne 3

    Good they tried but plain out simple THE GAME SUCKS!!! It was just rushed to make some money right after the movie. This game's graphics are acient the guns suck the game play sucks every thing sucks about the game.

    Some people have been wondering, what's worse than the God's and Generals movie?... the answer is.. the Game.. i mean. look at the EXTREMELY outdated graphic, an old game like Duke Nukem can easily beat this game in graphics... is this is best Ted Turner can offer after that horrible movie?

    It was a good idea, but bad graphics, and I kinda doubt a lone soldier can take out a whole army, and the graphics, they're just bad, the History Channel is making a Civil War game for the Xbox 360, I think its an FPS, but I'm not sure

    I was asking myself is it my computer that is so low in graphics ? and later: did i understand anything about how those stupid bot should move ? and then: why can't i put a baionnette ? then i came here, and i painfully regret to have wasted a cd for this bullsh.t.

    No one wants to "just rip on the south" this game is so bad its unimaginable. Anyone who thinks this game is even somewhat good has a serious problem with being able to judge a good game from absolute horrendous crap.

    I love being a god and giving orders to my generals to go into the battlefield and kill all those peasants asunder. With a sword in my hand and a pistol in another, I will tear through the blooshed and kill all my enemies or die trying. I will activate my eagle eye vision to see the value and prospects of victory, and i won't accept defeat as an answer.

    This is a fantastic civil war drama. It reflects the religious zeal of the times. The battle scenes are awesome. I just can't understand how the Critic Reviews could have been so low. Robert Duval is great as General Robert E. Lee. This is a must-see for any Civil War enthusiast.

    Hey, guys, this game is awesome!!!! I dont understand who rate this game eight or lower. To my mind this game the game of the 2012 year. I want this game to be at the top of all games on metacrtic.

    Outdated graphics, bad sound, lousy control, horrible technical performance, nonfunctional computer AI, terrible weapons--the game has about every problem you could possibly think of. In fact, it's difficult to imagine that Gods and Generals could be much worse than it is.
