    This is what happens when good people get together to make a fun game...save the BBQ!
    Bright, colorful, fun mechanic, great building tempo and pace.

    I am a big Plants vs Zombies fan and this game comes the closest to filling the void the lack of a PvZ sequel has left in my life. This is an entirely different game, however. Some generic tower defense elements combined with some Tetris and CCG ideas make it really fun to play.
    Play with sound on to hear some very amusing comments from your team.
    Only complaint is that I want more.    I am a big Plants vs Zombies fan and this game comes the closest to filling the void the lack of a PvZ sequel has left in my life. Your towers are shaped like Tetris shapes and your strategy doesn't just rely on putting out as many towers as possible.     I fell in love with Go Home Dinosaurs! when I first saw it. It's cute and simple, yet it gets challenging fairly quickly. I like how it takes strategy to decide what towers to place and what your build should be without being too complicated with tower upgrades.

    Meh I beat this but it has very little depth. Console port, shallow recycled tower defense mechanic stolen mainly from PVZ but 3D instead of left-to-right. No actual hotkeys that I can figure out. No fast forward. Dinosaurs are cute and the game has cute attitude, at least. For 2 dollars I can't complain, which is the only reason I recommend it.     PS: I must also mention that the entire game premise of "defending your steak BBQ from dinosaurs that are invading your picnic like gigantic ants" has a Vegetarian Mode involving carrots. The lack of Tofu Steaks highly annoys me, but the fact that it still has steaks on the loading screen is -unforgivable-.

    It's fun while it lasts, but there is really not much left to do once you complete the three worlds besides unlocking cosmetic items and getting a 100% score for each level. The mechanics are solid, the gameplay is challenging, and the art and sound design are very cute.

    Very good and addictive game. I`m a little sad because now I finished the game there is nothing more to do. Maybe I should start playing Plants vs Zombies again. Nonetheless it was a lot of fun saving my BBQ.

    "Go Home Dinosaurs!" is a well-done and often addictive Defend-Your-Tower strategy game: defending a BBQ has never been this funny! Good graphics but very slow to load a new level.

    Best tower defence game I've played in quite while! The game combines classic tower defence gameplay with quick reaction and puzzle elements. It is challening, although I feel the game could have been made slightly harder. Can't wait for more content

    Is Go Home Dinosaurs the game that can drag your attention in the style “just one more level and I will go to sleep” or will it become boring and repetitive soon? I have found many pros in this game - humorous story, instant and fast gameplay, direct control over the main character, system of inventory and cards, interesting tower types, good level design, variable and funny enemies, user friendly interface and controls, reasonable difficulty, beautiful graphics and great sounds along with funny dubbing. Go Home Dinosaurs is not a flawless game indeed so here are the cons - no upgrades for your towers, not very useful shop, low variability of the game environment and one can find the game mechanics maybe too simplistic.

    - instant gameplay
    - control over the main character
    - cards and inventory
    - tower types
    - level design
    - variety of enemies
    - interface and controls
    - difficulty
    - graphics and sounds

    Cons:
    - no upgrades for towers
    - shop
    - variability of the game environment

    I have enjoyed the time spent with Go Home Dinosaurs and it dragged me in for quite a long time thanks to the dynamic gameplay and if it wouldn’t be so simplistic when it comes to tower upgrades and shop I would give it an even higher mark. Like this I am giving the game Thumbs Up and VideoGaming Father’s Index 7+ out of 10 - recommended but with some discount.    … Expand

    For only $9 on Steam, there is a fun, charming and thought out game to be had in Go Home Dinosaurs. Tower defense fans should not miss it, and it’s so simplistic that almost anyone can pick the game and have a blast with it. I strongly suggest picking this game up. After all, there’s barbeque to be saved.
