    Combat is laggy and clunky. The game will never get better either because the developer insists on doing weird things like adding delay to his games controls in an attempt to reduce the skill ceiling and balance peoples ping. All it does however is make the game feel laggy and random. The game already felt too laggy before he did this and now he made it worse. Many people have quit becauseCombat is laggy and clunky.     Then the PvE is awful. The NPC's are glitchy AF while having some of the most brain dead AI you will ever see in a game. The crafting is also mediocre from what I've been told. Also some of the siege mechanics are terrible. It takes multiple people over 20 minutes of spamming 1 button over and over again to take down just a single wall for example.

    Territory control is meaningless as well. Capturing a castle or fort really does nothing for you. It's mostly done just for 'content'.

    Community can be really weird and the developer is apart of this community which results in some very questionable bans and bizarre in-game politics as well. He actually has a reputation for unfair bans. The guy used to write about each specific ban but he stopped probably because he realized some of them make him look like a huge idiot and it's obvious he's just raging out when he writes about it. Then some people he doesn't wanna write about or acknowledge he banned because it was too over the top stupid. A whole guild got banned for having a banned player who the guy HATES in their guild lol. It's so weird. The guy wasn't cheating or anything. The developer just HATES this player for whatever reason. All chat related stuff for the most part.

    Either way the game probably deserves a 3-4/10 but I'm giving it a 0/10 just because I don't see it being around much longer and it's going to be frustrating as hell for most people to play. By the time you get to find some enjoyment out of it you're probably going to be just in time to witness the closing of the servers shortly after.

    Combat on its own just doesn’t feel satisfying enough to hold my attention-I’d kind of rather hop back onto Planetside 2 or Chivalry 2 for that. But, the combat combined with all of the features I mentioned earlier really come together to create something special-it still just needs a lot of work and polish. I especially love the concept of taking a large faction-based map and adding mmorpg elements to it, so I will absolutely be keeping my eyes on Gloria Victis over the next few months. If the developers keep making steady improvements like they are now, I’ll more than likely keep dipping my toes in every now and again to scratch that PvP itch.
