    If you are curious about this game I highly recommend checking it out.

    This game is 3 parts story driven walking simulator and 1 part action game. The level of depth this game dives into the lore, mythos, and culture of Japan is absolutely amazing. Combat in this game is pretty interesting but remains largely the same throughout the whole experience so your mileage may vary.     The level of depth this game dives into the lore, mythos, and culture of Japan is absolutely amazing.
    Combat in this game is pretty interesting but remains largely the same throughout the whole experience so your mileage may vary. I personally had a great time in the combat system all the way through the final boss.
    This game just oozes creativity, story, action and engaging content.
    Unreal engine 4 is great here and the options to tweak to your PCs limits are quite nice including resolution scaling with TSR. FSR and DLSS.

    As far as cons: To me there are a few side quests that felt unnecessary and the skill tree could have been a little more engaging.    … Expand

    It's like an indie game with a good Tokyo city. They managed to make a really bad game with ordinary action sequences and a boring story.

    Just about my only complaint about going back to Ghostwire: Tokyo was that the game doesn’t look quite as nice on the Steam Deck as it did when I played it on PS5 last year. When it rained, it made everything look a little more washed out, and it made it tougher to tell when you were entering a foggy area that was off-limits. You realize quickly enough when you’re somewhere you’re not supposed to be, but it was still a little disappointing. Overall, though, I’ll reiterate what I wrote up top: Spider’s Thread makes a great game even better. Ghostwire: Tokyo didn’t get nearly the level of attention it deserved on its initial release last year, and now that the game is free for Game Pass and PS+ subscribers (and generally inexpensive enough to buy on PC), there’s even less reason why it should be slept on. Do yourself a favour and get it now.

    This isn’t the first game to offer a dense, incredibly detailed rendering of Tokyo, but maybe it’s the first to make you feel like all of that work isn’t window dressing.

    The unique setting really helps to lift Ghostwire: Tokyo from myriad of problems such as a plain open-world design and lackluster combat. If you love Japan and mystical powers, then Ghostwire can be just the game you're looking for.
