    If it was a regular, non-F2P game it would be a lot better. As it is the game has two large problems for me:
    1. You get a very limited set of weak characters. All the decent characters are lock behind gambling with very low odds.

    Genshin Impact is probably one of the best free to play games for console of all time, right up there with fortnite.. this time theres more of an action jrpg meets breath of the wild feel, you choose your starting twin, the other is kidnapped and its up to you to rescue them, throughout your journey youll meet new characters that the game gives you for free, and there Is the option to buy new random characters which is where the fee to play aspect comes in.. howver I found this to be highly optional.. here youl be running from checkpoint to checkpoint, unlocking chests for new gear and adventure xp.. something that is actually the most important aspect on genshin ompact.. exploration.. you need to explore to progress the game which is ultimately what made me stop playing 13 hours in… the grind here is absolutely abysmal… I loved progressing this weird story that was impossible to follow for me.. going through the dungeons, just to see where this world would take me next, what enemies and bosses it would throw at me.. and after a while the game starts flowing down, you go to this point now go explore to unlock the next chunk of the story.. so you do that, gaining adventure experience, leving up your charcters, finding new weapons, it was so addictive.. I didn’t mind the break.. im bac, lets continue this story.. heres 2 or a 3 quests.. now you need adventure level 15.. okay… I guess I can do that.. go out.. do the actually thoughtful side quests… a couple hrs of grinding.. ive maxed out my charcters, now I can accend them and level them up twice as much.. I finally get to get back to the main story.. and wall… 1.. I get 1 main mission until the game is like come back after you reach adventure level 25…. Twenty… five…
    I just grinded for hours to go up 3 levels.. and you want me to go up..10.. more.. levels… sure theres a level 18 main story sitting there… but whos to say I don’t grind 3 more hours for those 3 levels.. doing mindless, exhausting, map cleaning.. only to get one 15 minute long story mission again.. with nothing on the other side but climb 8 more levels for that level 25 mission.. I couldn’t.. I just couldn’t do it.. I tapped out.. that being said.. my ascension to level 15 was great.. genshin impact rally is a great game with a beautiful world to explore… and at the very least, youre going to get a great.. free… 12 hour game that sure oyull have to youtube the ending for unless oyu have literally nothing else to play and want to sink what looks like over 40 hours into opening chests and activating teleportion posts..
    Usually I can grind for a great story, but like I said earlier, it was hard for me to follow, and a story that didn’t make sense in the context of the games delivery.. you cant tell a story of urgency while telling me to go find wheat for a boy to feed ducks… same issue I had with the story in the witcher 3.. you feel like its important that you find and help this person, but hey go do this other stuff that in the grand scheme of the story isn’t impactful in any way… tell a different story…
    it’s a shame that such a large emphasis on grind took the wind out of the sales for me.. but I really can appreciate this game for how great of an experience it offers as a free to play..

    I set aside my hatred of anime to try this game. I also knew it was a Gacha game & was still willing to try it. That was a mistake.

    I have to say, the game is very well done. It has it all; Unique characters, lots of story content, a beautifully crafted world, fun combat, & lots of exploration. All of that impressive content is held back by the greed of the developer/publisher. The    I set aside my hatred of anime to try this game.     It is a good pastime. I like to do my dailies commissions and farm some artifacts while hearing an podcast since the game doesn't really need the full awareness of the player but I really only play because of the rewards (primogens), it isn't funny at all to farm the same set for de 908th or to do the same stupid commission to protect a Ballon for the 67th time.

    The story of the game is    It is a good pastime. I like to do my dailies commissions and farm some artifacts while hearing an podcast since the game doesn't really need the full awareness of the player but I really only play because of the rewards (primogens), it isn't funny at all to farm the same set for de 908th or to do the same stupid commission to protect a Ballon for the 67th time.

    The story of the game is just a miss or hit, some are good, others are not. One thing annoying is the amount of unnecessary dialogues this game has that doesn't add anything to the stories or the event and it is just an annoying thing between you and 60 free primogens that 80% of the time is just worth it 1/3 of a wish that you get a literally useless 3* weapon.

    Many people complain about the gatcha system and I agree it sucks sometimes. I had my bad moments but also has lucky moments. I like this system simply because I am 100% F2P and honestly I have all characters that I need to beat any challenge in this game and if I managed to get this without paying 1 cent, at least for me, this system worked just fine so I don't have any reason to complain. I think people have to know, they can't have all characters in the game. They need 2 top-tier DPS and pull for good supports only.

    The combat system is cool, many people say they don't like the Spiral Abyss, I like it. I pretty much always get 36* on every abyss reset, not because 50 primogens are a great reward (they are trash) but because I like the challenge that only floor 12 (and sometimes floor 11) bring to the game. I always wanted more content like Spiral Abyss or new floors but Mihoyo never brought it. It is a shame, so I can only play Spiral Abyss every 2 weeks.

    The exploration of this game is one of my favorite parts. I like to solve puzzles and explore the world and the maps of this game is really beautiful. It is a shame that the content ends so fast.

    The graphics of this game are ok, the models of the characters are kinda bad, they lack models of musculus type of characters. Actually, they pretty much only have 3 models of characters, child characters, teen characters and adult characters. All are slim.    … Expand

    Genshin Impact is one of the best open world games you can play right now. The exploration aspect and sense of discovery in this game is better than any other game I played - including games like The Witcher 3 and Zelda: BOTW.     Other than that the story is pretty good, graphics look nice, and the soundtrack is stellar. The characters are very likable as well, and their "character quests" are some of the best quests in the game.

    One glaring issue that the game does have, though, is that it's a gacha game. First of all, this means any new character is unlocked through lootboxes. If you're a free to play player, you will gradually unlock lootboxes through normal gameplay and be able to unlock more and more characters, but you'll never be able to unlock every single character you want. This, though, isn't really a problem since you'll have more than enough characters to use in your team - you just won't have all of them.

    The real issue with the gacha is that it will limit how much stronger you can make your characters per day (this includes simply levelling them up). In the beginning of your journey this won't be a problem since there's plenty of exploring & questing to do outside of just training your characters. Eventually though, you'll run out of content and training your party is the only thing you'll have left to do, but you can only actually do so for around 10 minutes a day. The game will try to keep you hooked with a constant stream of events that give decent rewards to strengthen your team a bit faster.

    I give this game a 9 for how incredible the main game is with its satisfying exploration and combat system, but be aware that once you have explored most of the world and completed all of the main & side quests, you won't have anything left to do but grind and the game will turn into a daily slog. I recommend you to play every big content update as they come out, and just ignore all of the grinding and min-maxing you can do - since it's a tedious daily grind.    … Expand

    Barbara (Ufff... + the girl that you end up marrying one day)
    Ningguang (Professional model legs)

    Clearing domains with your build up character is really satisfying. I only wish the bosses that you find in the outside world would've being related to the story instead of just being "there" waiting to be beaten. The lack of toxic players amazes me, I've never encounter one and mostly all of them are like :3

    Really nice and wholesome experiences in co-op. It makes me wonder what is the game demographics.

    This is a great game, which unfortunately its censorship and gacha mechanics ruin it. I wouldn't mind paying 40 or 50 box for this game, it deserves it, but seeing people paying from 5k to 10k to get the characters that they want… that's just insane! No game is worth that money no matter how beautiful its world is or how great its characters are.
    If you go for the F2P route you won’t be disappointed, the game will be more challenging but it will feel more rewarding. Just please bear in mind that it might take up to a year to get the characters that you want because you will have to grind and grind hard.    … Expand

    Very nice to wonder around and enjoy the visuals, animations and music. Characters are likeable and combat is simple but satisfying. Free game makes it easy to muck-around with friends.

Вам-то пофиг, вы играть не будете, но не будьте эгоистами, дайте возможность играть тем, кому нравятся персонажи, кому нравится мир и принимают его несмотря на то, что мало примогемов завезли. Я очень люблю своих вайфу, только недавно собрал пачку мечты (Эола, Джинн, Райдэн, Мона (все с0 и без легендарных пушек), но жаловаться на урон просто грех) и я не хочу лишаться возможности играть из-за кучки зажравшихся остолопов. В вас и так весь год вливали примогемы тоннами, с квестов, с ежедневок, с ачивок, бездны и постоянных ивентов (блин, да чтоб во всех играх так часто вводили какие-нибудь новые прикольные ивенты (да, некоторые весьма простые, по типу убийства пачки врагов, но опять же, игроки разные и пытаются угодить многим, кому-то сложно, кому-то легко (мне вот рыбалка даётся тяжело, не ною же). И ко всему этому весьма скромный ценник на благословение (на треть дешевле месячной подписки WoW) (боже, игроки в 2021 году ещё не привыкли к тому, что за всё нужно платить, либо довольствоваться меньшим чем хочется).

    В качестве последнего слова. Ребят, не будьте эгоистами, вы всё равно удалите игру, если считаете, что разрабы заслужили такую оценку. Но зачем обрушивать её ещё сильнее? Уйдите спокойно, хотя бы ради тех людей, с которыми вам доводилось в геншин играть и чтобы они могли продолжить радоваться этой игре.     Ten 1 por tu aniversario, y agradece que te doy 1. Juego completamente bonito al comienzo para luego terminar siento un juego repetitivo que solo entras dia tras dia a hacer diarias y en vez de enganchar a su comunidad a seguir jugando en su aniversario prefieren pasar completamente de ella.

The bad things are its not beginner friendly if you get a new char in a new area you must play all the current content which is quite a lot. The game doesn't offer anything after you've done the main story it all comes down to do the repetitive dailies, to weekly bosses repeat.Writing with around 250+h and level 58 AR, the game looks good, combat is also good, that is all the good stuff. The bad things are its not beginner friendly if you get a new char in a new area you must play all the current content which is quite a lot. The game doesn't offer anything after you've done the main story it all comes down to do the repetitive dailies, to weekly bosses repeat. It has a coop option but its basically useless cause there is no content for it and which is its just domains which you can do solo. Farming for characters is not worth cause it takes A LOT of time to get something decent for one. For someone defending the character looks remember they are forced to censor it cause the CCP. Eventually the game will die if they continue senseless censoring and there will be better games than genshin in the making. One thing I forgot to mention is their wishing system which is trash and you need it for pulling new char or weapons. The chance of getting it is so low you might as well play a better gacha game like FFBE or Punishing Gray Raven which both reward you more than this piece of trash game. ಠ╭╮ಠ… Expand

    The engine: Unity - offers absolutely terrible performance.

    -The negative comments mostly taked about resin, gacha system, empty world etc.. Honestly idc.. as long as it has anime tiddies.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).. -The good thing, the developer made the pity system, so this game won't be a totally hell game..

    Genshin is a Kick ass game and is honestly what i needed after seeing all my favorite multiplayer games die (RIP TF2 and CS)

    I personally think its better than BOTW but both are in somewhat equal level (just because a 9.5 out of ten is better than a 9.3 out of ten doesn't make the 9.3 bad) it has a Nice Atmosphere, good Visuals , and it feels nice to play Its Gatcha which sucks but    Genshin is a Kick ass game and is honestly what i needed after seeing all my favorite multiplayer games die (RIP TF2 and CS)

    Very nice game since 1.4 update. Many things are fixed and the game is getting better. Many people are complaining about wish system but who cares, the game is brilliant. I spend some money for the Battlepass and welkin moon for primogems boost and I still don't find this game as a money bank.

    okay, i noticed if you go on the bad reviews, all of them talk about the resin wall. yeah sometimes it can be a problem, but it replenishes over time so you may have to wait a few hours between playing. also, you can get fragile resin for free just by playing, so you can replenish it yourself. my only advice is to not rush through the game, then complain that there’s nothing to do. youokay, i noticed if you go on the bad reviews, all of them talk about the resin wall. yeah sometimes it can be a problem, but it replenishes over time so you may have to wait a few hours between playing. also, you can get fragile resin for free just by playing, so you can replenish it yourself. my only advice is to not rush through the game, then complain that there’s nothing to do. you don’t need any fancy character’s to win the game and if you want a character, just save up wishes. you don’t have to pay to unlock everything. before anyone asks, i’m AR 41… Expand

They know how to keep players busy but don't force anything onto you, you don't HAVE to do anything rather everything is optional, even world level (which makes the enemies stronger inside your world) requires the players to manually activate it and is reversable.     resin system:
    for those who don't know, resin is what allows you to collect rewards from bosses and various challenges. Most of these rewards cannot be farmed elsewhere, with a few exceptions. At capacity, you have 160 resin. Bosses take up 40, some weekly bosses take 30, and other challenges take 20. As a late game player, (AR 56, halfway to 57), my experience is that using up all of the daily resin + the daily tasks, commissions, takes roughly an hour to an hour and a half. If you need a lot of a certain material, it can be inconvenient, which, yeah, i get that. However, giving a whole game 0-1/10 because of THAT is petty and immature to me. In my opinion, I like the resin system. I think it helps the game stay balanced in that no one can grind for a really long time to be lightyears ahead of the general playerbase. It also, for me at least, makes sure I'm not at my computer for 48 hours straight. I feel like its a healthy amount of time to play. Not to say, that the things you use resin for are the only thing you can do in Genshin. Far from it, actually. There's frequent events, a housing system, and a gigantic world to explore. There's no need to rush things.
    Secondly, the gacha rates:
    I would like to clarify that I have made it my personal goal to get every character in the game. My reasoning for this is personal and I will not discuss it. However, that said, Genshin is by NO means a pay to win game. Every character, including the starter characters, are good. It genuinely just depends on how you build them. Five star characters are nice, yes, but in the meta, they aren't much better than any of the four stars or starter characters you can get. I will fight ANYONE on this. You by no means have to get a 5 star character or weapon to be good at and enjoy this game. You could complete all the game has to offer at the time of this review without ever pulling on a banner.
    I feel like the people complaining about the gacha rates have never played a gacha game before. Genshin is EXCEEDINGLY generous for a gacha game. The currency needed is not hard to earn by playing the game, through exploration, events, achievements, etc etc. As someone who has spent a sizable sum of money on this game, however, I do have to admit that buying the currency needed for the gacha is pretty costly. However, please again consider that this is entirely optional, and through the currency you obtain in-game you will most likely pull at LEAST one five-star by AR35.
    As a personal side note, I do not recommend attempting to get every character in game, like I have. I have my reasons, which are very personal, but I do not recommend anyone do the same. Keep in mind your party size in game is only 4, and its not very likely that you're going to use every character that you get. (from personal experience)

    Genshin is a stunning game. It has a beautiful world and lore, and characters that are just. excellent.
    The combat system is easy to learn, but takes a bit of time to master. It's fast paced and rewards players that have read into character skills/ taken the time to build a character. The environments are incredibly fun to explore, and personally it's one of my favorite parts of the game. The periodic updates to the map and the additions of events and characters gives me something to look forward to. However, if you're the type that gets frustrated when the entirety of the game isn't out at once, I wouldn't be able to recommend Genshin to you yet. Only 3 of the 7 regions are out as of me writing this review. Despite this, though, there is never really a lack of content. Events are frequent and new features are added all the time. My personal favorite is the teapot, because I can spend hours decorating my little home and farming the serotonin I get when I make it look nice. :)

The gacha system also somehow ruins the immersion. In general games, you can build up relationships with characters. The game will reward you by giving them as playable characters. But in gacha games, you don't. You might unlock characters in gacha even you have no idea who he/she is. You might also want some character because you have a good time with him in the story, but the game says no due to the stupid RNG generator.
    The progression system is really bad for hard-core players. Everything requires resin, or stamina if you want to call it. You need them to level up your character. You need them to level up your items. You need them to earn in-game currency. Without it, your exploration in the game does little to the progression. Of course, you can stay in the open world, go around different places, enjoy the scene, and kill some enemies, just like the end game of Breath of the Wild. But it is still annoying. Since there is actually a lot of things the game persuades you to do, but it also forces you to stop. If you want to get a better experience, then pay for it. Unfortunately, this is the natural logic of F2P games that can never be get rid of.

    Then why do I still give it 9/10? The simple answer is the overall quality of this game is too good to ignore the cons.
    The scene is good. The music is awesome. The combat is fun. The open world design is impressive. And all those contents are actually for free. Believe it or not, the best part of this game is not the expensive character, not the more expensive weapon, but the free content. Sometimes I do not understand why this game gives us its best for free but charges us a lot for the worst. For anyone who wants to enjoy this game, you do not need to pay a single dime, literally. The 5-star characters and weapons are expensive, but you do not need any of them. The game will give you a decent amount of 4-star characters, and those are no less fun than any overpriced 5-star. Exploration in the open world, puzzles and mini-games, and a not-bad storyline are already better than many games that cost you $60. There is no reason I do not recommend this game.    … Expand

Some dude said that he reached Adventure Rank 38 and that he was endgame (XD) but the grinding starts when you reach AR 45, when you start paying attention to stats and Artifacts, the ones that let you do real damage and challenge endgame features, like Spiral Abyss (a kind of endless dungeon that resets every 15 days).
    Let's say "bad things": Of course we are talking that this game has gacha features, so there will be characters that you won't be able to get in the short term, but the more common characters that you will use are almost the same in terms of raw damage and being fun to play. So, if you like just to explore and battle doing elemental reactions, and don't mind getting all the d*mn characters in the game, we just get (considering is free to play with these gacha features) one of the top 3 games of 2020, and being one of my favourite options in 2021. Don't rate as a 10 because of course everybody will want to get a 5 star character, 'cause of exclusiveness or whatever, so the game has a system that every 90 wishes you do, you will always get a 5 star before the 91st wish, which i think is great when you compare it to other gacha games. Of course is an anime-styled game, so people may not be so eager to play something like this, and is completely understandable, so it's not for everyone.

    First let me tell you that it is a game first and a gacha second. People who talk only about the gacha part wish it was an RPG-skinned slot machine like other gachas. It's simply not.

    The best way I can describe it is "this is the 3d "Tales" game I always dreamed of," and I even beat Tales of Arise while playing it. The character designs and animations are gorgeous, the combat is extremely fun and better than ANY Tales or Tales spinoff, and it has all the min-maxing anybody could ever desire.

    Not only that but it updates internationally every other week with new things to do, and every 3 months with new land to explore. I'm amazed at how much work and craftsmanship is put into the game.

    Some gacha/mobile elements like energy to play the grindy part of the game (domains, aka dungeons) called resin can be frustrating, but they have added plenty to do when you're out of resin since the game launched and now I barely ever run out before I'm ready to stop playing anyway. All of the JRPG staples are here: combat, ingredient collecting, crafting, cooking, house/village building, gardening, fishing... There's also about 30 hours of real game before you ever need resin anyway. Progress can't always be made by barreling through the game, but I don't mind it.

    While I don't have much interest in the Chinese-theological theme of heavenly bureaucracies (which they reference a LOT especially in the second chapter) the story has been compelling enough, but more importantly coherent. The characters, world, and story all feel like they are designed by the same group of people. Many modern JRPGs feel like their writers never saw the game and the level designers never saw the characters and the character designers never read the script.

    I spend ~$20 a month on the game and have gotten nearly every character - 34/39! Each with very distinct playstyles and personalities. I don't feel the investment is at all necessary to enjoy the game though. With enough time you can get every character and weapon release for free. Yes it will take literal years - but they are absolutely not necessary to enjoy the game. They are just digital action figures to use on a digital playset. As I said, people like to pretend Genshin Impact is only a gacha, but the gacha is 10% of the game's value. The other 90% of it is a lovingly crafted Zelda BotW and Tales-series clone.

    I have only seen the quality of the game improve since it launched, and I am excited to see where else the game takes me. If you are looking for an adventure, I highly recommend this game.    … Expand

    On the Gacha system while it isn’t perfect, I think that Mihoyo gives you a good chance to get your Favourite character without needing to spend a dime.     I assume most people who rank the game negatively don't get the fact that it is a game that you are not supposed to play a lot 2 weeks and then leave, it's done to play maybe 10 hours a week for something like a year or two maybe. By doing that you will have too much content because there is new content almost every month, and a ton of daily and weekly events.

    I am not even into this type of game normally, I don't like farming games (things like Diablo for instance), but the open world is very beautiful, same for the music.

    In terms of quests, there is some nice (poetic ?) stuff, but I found a good amount of the quests quite boring so far, that's the most negative point for me, but I haven't finished the game so I can't blame that too much.

    Characters are cool, voices are nice, fighting system is really well done, the RPG side of the game as well, good balance also, a bit hard sometimes but never too much.

    The game is quite easy to run on a modest PC, and the multiplatform support is awesome. You can continue your game on your mobile exactly where you left on your PC, something I haven't seen much so far.    … Expand

    The core gameplay is great, you can combine different elements and do combination attacks, use the environment against the enemies and have fun, but the grinding is ridiculous, and the only way to unlock new characters is by either buying them with real money or getting them through a "lootbox" mechanic.

    There isn't really an actual story, or rather... it's not very engaging and important, but there are indeed main quests, side quests and challenges but they barely differ.

    Multiplayer mode is also not working very well, only the host of the lobby can properly interact with the world.

    In the end it's merely a good game, it looks and plays very well but it gets boring after a while, and if you want a change of pace then you'll have to deal with gacha mechanics.

    Bad reviews seem to have only played game on launch and not familiar with this genre. It's a slow grind game where you gain rewards doing daily and not a regular PC game that you can speedrun in minutes. Overall for a free to play game I give it a 10/10. Honestly no game comes close.     This game is great for people to play on their own and with friends the game is not locked behind a pay wall the story is great and it is better than it ever was before. The game looks so good and the controls for it being a mobile game is fantastic I highly recommend this game if you like rpgs.

Often playing the games just for chilling and enjoy the view. For gameplay it's running real smooth in my phone. You can still get a 5* char by doing the events and commisions mean that is really f2p friendly. You can be a whale also, but youI often write a review for games.     Genshin Impact has the dubious honor of being the best free-to-play gatcha game ever made. While on the surface that isn't saying all that much, Genshin Impact's core is a very strong Breath of the Wild clone with a substantial combat system and a gorgeous aesthetic. Furthermore, you can put a number of hours into the game before ever feeling the need to spend a cent.     It's really amazing and fun at the beginning of the game. However, as it proceeds it becomes more boring and draining, especially after AR 50. More further, we can easily say that there is almost nothing to do after AR 55.

    Донатная помойка требующая много времени и нервов. Когда выбиваешь персонажей выпадает Qiqi или Дилюк , а каким-то школьникам с каждой первой крутки падает и даже без гаранта. По дизайну игра просто ужасна. Багов куча (лично я не смог пройти несколько заданий из-за этого).Лично я просто задолбался я имею 60 ранг и у меня из дамегеров Дилюк!     Overall, in spite of things that should bring Genshin Impact down, the game is so much fun to play that the negatives are ultimately minor gripes. [...] The gameplay is smooth and simplistic, and it works great on all platforms - though I’m still not sure why the PlayStation version can’t be linked to a Mihoyo account so I could play on my phone when I’m not at home (PS Vita version please??) but it’s a small gripe to an otherwise terrific game.
