    제가 이 게임을 처음으로 했을때 나온 말입니다.
    이것은 신선한 충격이었습니다.pay to win이 아닌 순전히 내실력으로도 게임을 진행할 수 있게 만든rpg는 대부분 dark soul같은 절망적인 게임이 많았지만 이 게임은 그 장벽을 허물었습니다.

    I hated this title with a fiery passion when the trailer was first released. I considered it to be a direct ripoff of my favorite game, Breath of the Wild. In late December my boyfriend told me to get it. I downloaded Genshin Impact on my phone and really enjoyed the first few hours. The game didn't feel like a ripoff to me, it felt like a love letter to the Zelda franchise. The OST isI hated this title with a fiery passion when the trailer was first released. I downloaded Genshin Impact on my phone and really enjoyed the first few hours. The game didn't feel like a ripoff to me, it felt like a love letter to the Zelda franchise. The OST is perfect, the graphics are stunning, and the character designs blow me away. The amount of work that goes into each character's outfit, idle animations, and lore is incredible.
    Despite that, Genshin still has big problems. I don't really mind the resin system but I understand it limits a lot of gameplay. The Gacha aspect turns away a lot of potential fans and can be detrimental for some individuals. That is to say, Gacha is not integral to the gameplay. The four or five free characters you get are really good if you build them right(Kaeya is a god). Another issue is the repetitive nature of the missions. I get tired of sweeping leaves for Albert and mopping up some kid's boat but you have to keep in mind that the game hasn't finished yet. It probably won't finish for years to come. Plus, I used to be an avid Red Dead Online player so I'm used to participating in repetitive missions and menial tasks for a sliver of cash.
    I feel like it is important to add that I have spent money on the Gacha system. I have spent $25 in total. $15 for Xiao on his last day and $10 in the months since for the Welkin Moon Blessing. I didn't get Xiao if you were wondering. It is really easy to drop $300 in 3 minutes for even the prospect of getting Diluc and hackers are a big problem. Mihoyo seems more invested in closeting leaks than fixing bigger issues.
    I really like Genshin Impact so my review is going to be very biased. Please take my words with a grain of salt. If you hate this title with as much passion as I did when it first released, just try it. If you still hate it, then that's ok.

    Kinda a nitpick: (1)I saw a review that said they paid full price for this game and complained about the Gacha system. Genshin is free. (2)A game cannot have the potential to be labeled as "AAA" because that term is defined as follows, "AAA is an informal classification used for video games produced and distributed by a mid-sized or major publisher..." By this definition, Genshin Impact is a AAA title. I just saw some misinformation and wanted to correct it. I doubt any person would actually believe the false info but I still wanted to clarify.    … Expand

    I repeat, it's completely FREE. It is the most polished and beautiful FREE game that doesn't sell you any advertising.

    The world is huge and beautiful, the content is solid and have tons of voice acting. The characters are very anime like. The main character story is considered well written and meticulously planned out. The story quests are interesting and worthwhile. I have wasted hours just exploring the world.

    Amazing RPG. It's just absolutely beautiful. The missions are fun, there are many things to explore, many characters to change and to level up... It's open exploration at its best. I'm really enjoying it.

    I'm not happy only that PS4 progress isn't shared with other accounts. But game is really cool.

    All reviews about resin and gacha system - guys, its not auto-play mobile RPG, it's a new console level game, you don't need to spend all of your money to have 5 star heroes, but you need to understand that they need a money to continue development and updates, it can be a fully free game.

    J'ai commencé à y jouer depuis la mise en route des serveurs et a chaque jour j'y joue. Incapable de prendre une pause tellement qu'il est dans mes goûts. Graphisme impeccable, bande sonore accrochant, système de combat très facile à apprendre et vraiment bien ficelés. J'aime beaucoup l'histoire et aussi le fait qu'ils ont ajouté un genre de battle pass comme dans Fortnite, ce qui donne unJ'ai commencé à y jouer depuis la mise en route des serveurs et a chaque jour j'y joue.     the world is beautiful, the models are very cute and well animated. you can clearly tell the devs care about this game and its player base. i understand its not for everyone since there is a grind element involved in earning primogems to roll for characters/weapons you might want, but i have 18 characters in my F2P account and half of them can't be developed due to daily RESIN limitations. character development requires careful planning and execution, but for me the journey is well worth it. the story is also enjoyable and i'm looking forward to inazuma in feb.

    Genshin is a pretty good game. I’m not sure if it’s the first game to put a gacha in an open world rpg but it does both well in my opinion. I started the game close to launch, dropped it for a bit, and picked it back up as I saw new characters that interested me. Have been playing consistently for a few months since.

    I think the story and quests are decently executed. Depending on your tastes the dialog can be a little bland. But the combat is where it shines. Combining elements of different characters to form reactions that augment your play by either increasing the damage you do, or protecting you from damage with shields is a cornerstone of the gameplay. There are many viable team comps for exploration and abyss and if you manage to pull a lot of characters it can be fun to try different combinations.

    A few gripes I have are with the content outside the abyss, which while mihoyo does update the game often with new content, can either be bland, or temporary. I can understand not wanting too much large scale permanent content for now, as the game hints at a possibility of at least 7 major zones (one for each of the seven elements in the game, and of which we have 3 as of version 2.6). However it is a little disappointing and it is nice to see some temporary events make reruns, such as the theater mechanicus. The main sources of endgame content are the aforementioned spiral abyss and exploring the open world to 100%. For those of us who have yet to 36 star the abyss and finish exploration, there is still motivation to play, but I can understand why people get burned out of it.

    Before I end this review I have to address the gacha. For the most part, I think the character gacha is mostly fair, as you can get a five star limited character guaranteed in less than 180 rolls. But obviously the problem is getting those rolls, right? Buying a welkin moon for 5 usd, which basically gets you 2700 primogems in 28 days, and the paid battle pass, combined with the star glitter and stardust you receive from wishing, can get you a decent amount of wishes, but depending on the events available it may or may not net you enough to guarantee the character you want. So I get peoples frustration. At the end of the day, this is a gacha game, but most of the four star characters are perfectly serviceable, and it’s really only recommended to pull for a five star if you like their aesthetic and play style. Story events provide opportunities to try out every single character in the game. One issue though, is reruns aren’t guaranteed to happen for every character, but as mihoyo has only relatively recently been doing double banners, it opens up the possibility for more reruns in the future.

    All in all I think Genshin is a fun game. I think new players can get put off by the gacha and the fact that you can’t fully enjoy some content without a decent amount of investment, and I do hope Hoyoverse addresses the new player experience. But I have put countless hours into it and enjoy it for the most part. Also would be nice if they fix some of the artifact rng, and/or put in reforge options. If they address those concerns I’d rate this game higher.    … Expand

The graphics are made that way, so even on the lowest settings, it can still look brilliant. The storyline is addictive and interesting. The soundtrack is a masterpiece. I like also the style of the game. There are not so many bugs. And this aspect increases my score.Genshin Impact is one of the games which got a 10 from me. My rating has to go from somewhere.     The first ~30h was really solid, if you enjoyed the exploration in BotW you’ll definitely enjoy these hours. However, once you’ve explored the whole map, there’s not much left for you to do.

    IMO the best way to play Genshin is to explore everything and then wait for the next map updates (maybe every 4-6 months?).

    Tontas son las personas que dan calificación negativa solo por estar furiosos de su mala fortuna en el gachapon. Tontas las personas que no se dan cuenta que es normal poner micro transacciones dentro de los juegos y más tontas quienes caen en ellos sin tener dinero de sobras. Veo muy permisible para cualquier personas gastar 50 dolares solamente ya que es lo que hoy en día cuesta cualquier vídeojuegos. La verdad meterle 50 dolares está bien, pero más de eso no deberían pensarlo si es que no les sobra el dinero.

    Si tanto se queja la gente que vayan y le inviertan cientos de horas a el desarrollo de un videojuego como éste sin meterle micro transacciones para poder seguir desarrollando. Las micro transacciones son el resultado de empresas de alto renombre como EA games y Epic. No es algo que ésta empresa se haya sacado de la manga.

    Solo les digo. Disfruten el juego sin frustrarse por si no les sale el personaje que tanto querían. ésta semana hay un evento para obtener a Fischl que es uno de los personajes más deseados. El juego es nuevo y es por eso que hay tanta persona frustrada. Hay ciento de juegos con un RNG cientos de veces peor que éste juego como Subir full set BLACK STAR con Caphras en BDO. Esto no es nada y ciertamente se siente el amor que le pusieron a las voces de los personajes, al arte del mundo y diseño de los personajes.

    Es un juego realmente hermoso y vale la pena jugar como todo MMORPG sin frustarte por tener lo mejor tan pronto como puedas, porque si algo he aprendido de tantos MMORPGS que he jugado es que si te centras en ser el mejor no vas a disfrutar el juego como se debe.    … Expand

    This game offer a great content till Ar 35, after around that you are only able to play for around 1-2 hours a day with the resin limits. But this game had a really fast updating speed compare to most game I've played (Around one or two months). Example Raft had one update around a year or half and you can finish the content around 2 days with friends.     The game is great overall for all its characteristis. RPG genre, anime graphic. Combat system and animation is awesome.

    Careful reading the user review because resin problem when the game was released. Currently on January 2021, almost everyone is adapted already with the system, which is very common in F2P game. This game is probably the best F2P with gacha system and best gameplay for RPG.

    Why are there so many negative reviews. This is a gacha game where they want you to come back and tempt you to spend money. Besides that, this game is amazing filled with mystery, adventure, and characters to collect. OST AND TRAILERS ARE A BOP.

    But as all free gacha games on start it lacks of content especially when you rush things and in the higher AR levels end you meet the chaos of disorganization on how to reward people, how to give them something for their effort and how much energy they need to feel satisfied. I clearly do not understand who decision was to make it 8 mins for 1 energy that it takes 16 hours to replenish fully but that is the rock in the people courtyard. Cause you don't feel that you did something in a day even on higher AR levels. That's why people are in panic to not cap it cause then they waste their efforts. 6 minutes is like enough for normal human to sleep, wake up, see he have energy, waste it, gone to work, come home see he has like good amount of it after work and play for more activities.

    IMHO People are bombing the game with negative cause of their vagaries and that they want it to be completely free, give everything to them here and now like the entitled kids do. I see the review bombing has become from the "tool of justice" to the "tool of fulfillment of your own wishes". That's not cool to do with the games by describing your own vagaries. Ripping off a plethora of gameplay elements from Breath of the Wild, it adapts them into its own gameplay loop with flawless execution to make it feel like its own thing. After this, it introduces its rich story through lavish cinematic cutscenes, boss battles, exposition and flavour text the likes of which rivals Skyrim. All this high-quality content at this price point is insane, which is of course why they lure you to spend money on enticing characters that cater to a wide variety of preferences, male or female. That is the monkey's paw in all of this. Thankfully, this monetization model is fairly decoupled from the core campaign, and as has been mentioned often, renders this game very F2P.

    After about 40-60 hours of campaign (that will only increase in length in time to come), the game transits into an endgame grind where resources are timegated. However I'd also like to point out that 40 hour single player content that you spent 60 dollars for similarly slows to a grind in the endgame. I'd advise considering the amount of campaign content you get for how much money you're spending and let that influence your propensity to play this game.    … Expand

    I fell in love with this game from the get-go. I've played all the Legend of Zelda titles before, and even though I could call most of them great, Genshin Impact gave me an entirely diferent vibe. The local music, different in every region, the difference in the scenery... You can almost feel, like you're really in a different country.
    The story quests can easily occupy you for 40+ hours, but it will probably take you much more than that. The dynamic events, the puzzles all throughout the map, encounters with enemies - the so called "distractions" are adding to the dynamic of the map.

    The game presents you with few characters of varying elemental attacks: wind, fire, ice, water, which let's you finish the whole game (as of right now), but (and it's a big BUT) the game Free2Play system is one of the most fair I have ever seen.
    No, you can't buy experience with money.
    No, you can't buy story quests DLC with money.
    No, you can't "buy" certain characters or weapons with money.
    All you can do is try your luck in a Gacha (basically a slot machine). You can get good characters, mediocre characters - some better, some worse, but you can always make someone good, if you combo him with appropriate equipment.

    If you want to pay money to get a big advantage - you're in bad luck. It's a no no for buying "character pack" for 100$. You, as all the people, have some % chance of getting any character/weapon from one of three slots.
    Free2Play players can get Primogems (you roll Gacha with it) for doing: story quests, normal quests, daily quests, events, random encounters, opening chests.
    It's in no way a low amount. You'll find people complaining, that on the game release everyone got a ton of bonus Primogems and that now it will only go downhill - yes, it will, it will be quite harder. But the game doesn't require you to roll anything in order to complete literally everything. It's not a competitive game. You only play the game of "medium" vs "easy".

    Taking all of it into consideration:
    - Best free2play game ever, possibly better than Zelda Breath of The Wild
    - OST is just godly, the London and Shanghai orchestries did a perfect job
    - every character is different, you won't find 2 characters that do the same thing, just one better than the other
    - You can play the game on your PC and later play for an hour on your mobile phone wherever you are
    - Graphics are very nice and game is not hard to run on pretty much any hardware
    - Good character desing + every character has a backstory about them    … Expand

    Its a shame its being brought down by such an aggressive pay for power system, build into a super low RNG gatcha system.

    if they did away with the gatcha, and implemented a traditional cash store, the game would be much better recieved.

    I love the game and story, betTer gameplay than BTOW, is a casual game, that let you spend some hours each day to go on, is like an anime you are following with the devs adding new parts to the story every 6 weeks, there is no walls for f2p and is even greater if you can afford to play a gatcha game

I just really waiting for new map in the future, new story, new chara, etc. This game just incredible, you can play with your friend, explorer the map and FIGHT THE BOSS. There is no need to buy anything, and you regularly get in game currency for free if you really want to try for new characters. I have played for a week and I have 5 new characters without spending any money. I'm also not even halfway through the game.

    I was really surprised, i saw many streamers and youtubers play this game and i was like "ehhh look not so good" but when i tested the game i became addicted after some minutes playing, it's refreshing with that manga style and also it's a FREE GAME OMG !
    But really i didn't played all the game yet, but after an evening playing it, i want to continue and see more, good game here, i recommand

    However, if you have the self-control to view this game as a fun way to spend some time to explore the world, get some items/characters with your free rolls, and progress a decent anime-ish story, then you'll really enjoy this game. The world is fun to explore. The combat is pretty simple but enjoyable enough.

    But here's the key: do NOT view this as your new, long-term-forever game in which you will reach maximum possible power with all of the unlocks. That's where the **** gacha / resin system comes in. Play through the story, use your free wishes, level a few characters, open up the map......then stop! It's okay to stop! They will probably release more content down the road that you will be able to enjoy, then stop again. Just because they put MOAR POWER in the game doesn't mean you have to unlock all of it (and spend all the money) to enjoy it. Play this game until it feels like you are no longer enjoying it or can't make reasonable progression, then take a break until they release more conntent.     Seriously this game is very geneous in that you can beat the game without spend a single dime. The world is great, Music is great, on top of that the combat mechanic is super fun. I already put like 70+ hrs in the game now and I still want to play more. Yes, there is nothing I can do at this point since I cleared all quests, but we all know this is just the beginning.     Genshin Impact is probably one of the best free to play games for console of all time, right up there with fortnite.. this time theres more of an action jrpg meets breath of the wild feel, you choose your starting twin, the other is kidnapped and its up to you to rescue them, throughout your journey youll meet new characters that the game gives you for free, and there Is the option to buy new random characters which is where the fee to play aspect comes in.. howver I found this to be highly optional.. here youl be running from checkpoint to checkpoint, unlocking chests for new gear and adventure xp.. something that is actually the most important aspect on genshin ompact.. exploration.. you need to explore to progress the game which is ultimately what made me stop playing 13 hours in… the grind here is absolutely abysmal… I loved progressing this weird story that was impossible to follow for me.. going through the dungeons, just to see where this world would take me next, what enemies and bosses it would throw at me.. and after a while the game starts flowing down, you go to this point now go explore to unlock the next chunk of the story.. so you do that, gaining adventure experience, leving up your charcters, finding new weapons, it was so addictive.. I didn’t mind the break.. im bac, lets continue this story.. heres 2 or a 3 quests.. now you need adventure level 15.. okay… I guess I can do that.. go out.. do the actually thoughtful side quests… a couple hrs of grinding.. ive maxed out my charcters, now I can accend them and level them up twice as much.. I finally get to get back to the main story.. and wall… 1.. I get 1 main mission until the game is like come back after you reach adventure level 25…. Twenty… five…
    I just grinded for hours to go up 3 levels.. and you want me to go up..10.. more.. levels… sure theres a level 18 main story sitting there… but whos to say I don’t grind 3 more hours for those 3 levels.. doing mindless, exhausting, map cleaning.. only to get one 15 minute long story mission again.. with nothing on the other side but climb 8 more levels for that level 25 mission.. I couldn’t.. I just couldn’t do it.. I tapped out.. that being said.. my ascension to level 15 was great.. genshin impact rally is a great game with a beautiful world to explore… and at the very least, youre going to get a great.. free… 12 hour game that sure oyull have to youtube the ending for unless oyu have literally nothing else to play and want to sink what looks like over 40 hours into opening chests and activating teleportion posts..
    Usually I can grind for a great story, but like I said earlier, it was hard for me to follow, and a story that didn’t make sense in the context of the games delivery.. you cant tell a story of urgency while telling me to go find wheat for a boy to feed ducks… same issue I had with the story in the witcher 3.. you feel like its important that you find and help this person, but hey go do this other stuff that in the grand scheme of the story isn’t impactful in any way… tell a different story…
    it’s a shame that such a large emphasis on grind took the wind out of the sales for me.. but I really can appreciate this game for how great of an experience it offers as a free to play..

    Other than that the story is pretty good, graphics look nice, and the soundtrack is stellar. The characters are very likable as well, and their "character quests" are some of the best quests in the game.

    One glaring issue that the game does have, though, is that it's a gacha game. First of all, this means any new character is unlocked through lootboxes. If you're a free to play player, you will gradually unlock lootboxes through normal gameplay and be able to unlock more and more characters, but you'll never be able to unlock every single character you want. This, though, isn't really a problem since you'll have more than enough characters to use in your team - you just won't have all of them.

    The real issue with the gacha is that it will limit how much stronger you can make your characters per day (this includes simply levelling them up). In the beginning of your journey this won't be a problem since there's plenty of exploring & questing to do outside of just training your characters. Eventually though, you'll run out of content and training your party is the only thing you'll have left to do, but you can only actually do so for around 10 minutes a day. The game will try to keep you hooked with a constant stream of events that give decent rewards to strengthen your team a bit faster.

    I give this game a 9 for how incredible the main game is with its satisfying exploration and combat system, but be aware that once you have explored most of the world and completed all of the main & side quests, you won't have anything left to do but grind and the game will turn into a daily slog. I recommend you to play every big content update as they come out, and just ignore all of the grinding and min-maxing you can do - since it's a tedious daily grind.    … Expand

В вас и так весь год вливали примогемы тоннами, с квестов, с ежедневок, с ачивок, бездны и постоянных ивентов (блин, да чтоб во всех играх так часто вводили какие-нибудь новые прикольные ивенты (да, некоторые весьма простые, по типу убийства пачки врагов, но опять же, игроки разные и пытаются угодить многим, кому-то сложно, кому-то легко (мне вот рыбалка даётся тяжело, не ною же). И ко всему этому весьма скромный ценник на благословение (на треть дешевле месячной подписки WoW) (боже, игроки в 2021 году ещё не привыкли к тому, что за всё нужно платить, либо довольствоваться меньшим чем хочется).

    В качестве последнего слова. Ребят, не будьте эгоистами, вы всё равно удалите игру, если считаете, что разрабы заслужили такую оценку. Но зачем обрушивать её ещё сильнее? Уйдите спокойно, хотя бы ради тех людей, с которыми вам доводилось в геншин играть и чтобы они могли продолжить радоваться этой игре.     Very nice game since 1.4 update. Many things are fixed and the game is getting better. Many people are complaining about wish system but who cares, the game is brilliant. I spend some money for the Battlepass and welkin moon for primogems boost and I still don't find this game as a money bank.

The story in this game isn't finished as it updates every 6 weeks with new regions, places, bosses, characters, events, minigames,... There is definitely filler updates but releasing a new region every 6 weeks is impossible to do so i think those filler updates are quite necessary for the developers + they're pretty fun too even though they aren't big updates. They know how to keep players busy but don't force anything onto you, you don't HAVE to do anything rather everything is optional, even world level (which makes the enemies stronger inside your world) requires the players to manually activate it and is reversable. Brilliant game, brilliant storyline, beautiful graphics and regions and free too. 10/10, haven't had another game that could keep me interested and not get boring for me.… Expand

    most of the negative reviews are in reference to the resin system and the gacha rates, so i'll start out with a response to that
    resin system:
    for those who don't know, resin is what allows you to collect rewards from bosses and various challenges. Most of these rewards cannot be farmed elsewhere, with a few exceptions. At capacity, you have 160 resin. Bosses take up 40, some weekly bosses take 30, and other challenges take 20. As a late game player, (AR 56, halfway to 57), my experience is that using up all of the daily resin + the daily tasks, commissions, takes roughly an hour to an hour and a half. If you need a lot of a certain material, it can be inconvenient, which, yeah, i get that. However, giving a whole game 0-1/10 because of THAT is petty and immature to me. In my opinion, I like the resin system. I think it helps the game stay balanced in that no one can grind for a really long time to be lightyears ahead of the general playerbase. It also, for me at least, makes sure I'm not at my computer for 48 hours straight. I feel like its a healthy amount of time to play. Not to say, that the things you use resin for are the only thing you can do in Genshin. Far from it, actually. There's frequent events, a housing system, and a gigantic world to explore. There's no need to rush things.
    Secondly, the gacha rates:
    I would like to clarify that I have made it my personal goal to get every character in the game. My reasoning for this is personal and I will not discuss it. However, that said, Genshin is by NO means a pay to win game. Every character, including the starter characters, are good. It genuinely just depends on how you build them. Five star characters are nice, yes, but in the meta, they aren't much better than any of the four stars or starter characters you can get. I will fight ANYONE on this. You by no means have to get a 5 star character or weapon to be good at and enjoy this game. You could complete all the game has to offer at the time of this review without ever pulling on a banner.
    I feel like the people complaining about the gacha rates have never played a gacha game before. Genshin is EXCEEDINGLY generous for a gacha game. The currency needed is not hard to earn by playing the game, through exploration, events, achievements, etc etc. As someone who has spent a sizable sum of money on this game, however, I do have to admit that buying the currency needed for the gacha is pretty costly. However, please again consider that this is entirely optional, and through the currency you obtain in-game you will most likely pull at LEAST one five-star by AR35.
    As a personal side note, I do not recommend attempting to get every character in game, like I have. I have my reasons, which are very personal, but I do not recommend anyone do the same. Keep in mind your party size in game is only 4, and its not very likely that you're going to use every character that you get. (from personal experience)

    Genshin is a stunning game. It has a beautiful world and lore, and characters that are just. excellent.
    The combat system is easy to learn, but takes a bit of time to master. It's fast paced and rewards players that have read into character skills/ taken the time to build a character. The environments are incredibly fun to explore, and personally it's one of my favorite parts of the game. The periodic updates to the map and the additions of events and characters gives me something to look forward to. However, if you're the type that gets frustrated when the entirety of the game isn't out at once, I wouldn't be able to recommend Genshin to you yet. Only 3 of the 7 regions are out as of me writing this review. Despite this, though, there is never really a lack of content. Events are frequent and new features are added all the time. My personal favorite is the teapot, because I can spend hours decorating my little home and farming the serotonin I get when I make it look nice. :)

    if you dont like waiting for content and you dont see it as looking forward to something (i understand) but as a frustrating thing maybe come back in 10ish years when everything is out :)

You might also want some character because you have a good time with him in the story, but the game says no due to the stupid RNG generator.
    The progression system is really bad for hard-core players. Everything requires resin, or stamina if you want to call it. You need them to level up your character. You need them to level up your items. You need them to earn in-game currency. Without it, your exploration in the game does little to the progression. Of course, you can stay in the open world, go around different places, enjoy the scene, and kill some enemies, just like the end game of Breath of the Wild. But it is still annoying. Since there is actually a lot of things the game persuades you to do, but it also forces you to stop. If you want to get a better experience, then pay for it. Unfortunately, this is the natural logic of F2P games that can never be get rid of.

    Then why do I still give it 9/10? The simple answer is the overall quality of this game is too good to ignore the cons.
    The scene is good. The music is awesome. The combat is fun. The open world design is impressive. And all those contents are actually for free. Believe it or not, the best part of this game is not the expensive character, not the more expensive weapon, but the free content. Sometimes I do not understand why this game gives us its best for free but charges us a lot for the worst. For anyone who wants to enjoy this game, you do not need to pay a single dime, literally. The 5-star characters and weapons are expensive, but you do not need any of them. The game will give you a decent amount of 4-star characters, and those are no less fun than any overpriced 5-star. Exploration in the open world, puzzles and mini-games, and a not-bad storyline are already better than many games that cost you $60. There is no reason I do not recommend this game.    … Expand

Enjoyable story, and if it keeps getting the hype it had for the past year, we have 4 or 5 more regions to be implemented, which means a gigantic map to explore and loot chests, different puzzles, and good side stories to play. Some dude said that he reached Adventure Rank 38 and that he was endgame (XD) but the grinding starts when you reach AR 45, when you start paying attention to stats and Artifacts, the ones that let you do real damage and challenge endgame features, like Spiral Abyss (a kind of endless dungeon that resets every 15 days).
    Let's say "bad things": Of course we are talking that this game has gacha features, so there will be characters that you won't be able to get in the short term, but the more common characters that you will use are almost the same in terms of raw damage and being fun to play. So, if you like just to explore and battle doing elemental reactions, and don't mind getting all the d*mn characters in the game, we just get (considering is free to play with these gacha features) one of the top 3 games of 2020, and being one of my favourite options in 2021. Don't rate as a 10 because of course everybody will want to get a 5 star character, 'cause of exclusiveness or whatever, so the game has a system that every 90 wishes you do, you will always get a 5 star before the 91st wish, which i think is great when you compare it to other gacha games. Of course is an anime-styled game, so people may not be so eager to play something like this, and is completely understandable, so it's not for everyone.
    So overall, if i had to say, "Would i recommend you to play this game?" Absolutely yes.    … Expand

    forget about anniversary gifts, this is the best game I have ever played.
    My artifacts are good, and my Gacha is good too. I can believe that since i played 3 months ago, i have 4 5 star characters.
    The event is exciting and surprising.
    I will continue to support this game

    Rather than a typical online game, Genshin Impact resembles a traditional single-player jRPG with a real-time combat. For a free-to-play title it is very impressive, but turns out to be pretty derivative and quickly slumps into monotony. [13/2020, p.52]

    Oh, the joy of exploring this beautiful world. Oh, the clever combat, the great voice acting, the compelling story. This is one of the best RPGs of the year. And it’s almost beyond comprehension that you can get it for free.

    Overall, in spite of things that should bring Genshin Impact down, the game is so much fun to play that the negatives are ultimately minor gripes. [...] The gameplay is smooth and simplistic, and it works great on all platforms - though I’m still not sure why the PlayStation version can’t be linked to a Mihoyo account so I could play on my phone when I’m not at home (PS Vita version please??) but it’s a small gripe to an otherwise terrific game.
