    A decent little way to spend an afternoon. In the grand scheme of simulation games, this one feels a bit simple and reductive. It strips down and simplifies the art of game development as a means of streamlining the experience, but in doing so, it cuts out a lot of the replayability and the players ability to create their own success stories, due to the fact that what is or isn'tA decent little way to spend an afternoon. If you buy it on sale, you'll have a fun couple hours naming your games nasty sex puns or something, but I don't find too much entertainment value beyond that.… Expand

    A fun little tycoon game without much depth. Scores often feel arbitrary and there isn't all that much content. Not very replayable either.

    One of my first games that i ever bought just this alone puts the game close to my heart and in a special place... but this is a unbiased review gameplay is lacking.

    The concept is nice and stimulate your imagination, making you find how to make the best games while taking into account the market and the synergy between the type of game and its story while also selecting on which platform they will be published.     Biraz tekrara bağlıyor ve bazı şeylerle uğraşmak sıkıcı. Yine de böyle bir oyun bir daha gelmeyecek herhalde keşke biraz daha gelişmişi çıksa.

    História:como dito anteriormente ele tenta recriar a história dos games mais com algumas diferenças.ele faz paródias com as empresas de jogos como ninvento e a vena(nem preciso falar quem são)e com o nome dos videogames tambem como o TES,playstem,sega oasis e etc a nota para a história é neutra até por quê um jogo desse tipo não precisa.

    A good game, really fun and addictive, but it gets repetitive. Create a game, get a quick buck (or not), gain fans (or lose them), go to G3, repeat. If there was more events, it would be better.

    It is quite nice simulator, however, it has zero replayability and is not actually innovative or serious about itself, i recommend it only if you want to have fun for a couple of hours.

    This game is a fun game you can just kinda sit back and chill out too, the only real complaint is the Music (Should've had that slider up) and that the game could be SOOOOOOOOO much deeper than it is. There is a ridiculous amount of potential here that isn't used (at least right now)

    Игра довольна интересна, но в свою очередь надоедает быстро буквально пару часов и вы начнете играть во что-то другое, в целом как убивалка времени пойдет, не более. 6/10

    So addicting and so much fun, as a simulation it runs out of fuel unlike Football Manager games, but it's still fun to play throughout the story.

    Cool game with a cool idea behind it, the gameplay is entertaining but it's nothing bound to blow your mind.

    It's a fun game, but after 15-20 hours there isn't much new to be seen. The difficulty is basically 0 after you've completed the first stage as a lone text-adventure programmer. Other than that there isn't much to say, it's fun, it's cheap, and it's a good distraction from the existential dread that affects all of us.

    Simple, but very good in it's simplicity. If you want to create your own GameDev studio, than this is the best place for you. Yeah, the game is very repetitive, but with mods from SteamWorkshop the game can provides you many hours of pleasent gameplay. For me is more like 7,5, but because of this repetitive without mods I rather give it 7 on Metacritic, than 8.

    Las cosas son bastante random y RNG, es muy fácil obtener calificaciones altas y al mismo tiempo es muy fácil conseguir calificaciones bajas. Sin embargo, el juego tiene su encanto y la mejor parte viene con los numerosos mods que mejoran la experiencia de juego y la complican.

But nevertheless, the game does get a bit boring, making new concepts up just to get mediocre reviews. Hell, even get straight 8's or 9's gets boring in a while. A bit more customisation would be greatly appreciated. All in all, ifA very simple concept, that is made well.     This is a great game, that are missing a lot of stuff.
    What its missing is the option to make sequesl, dlc's expansions... and now couse of the stupid shlt in 2017-18... lootboxes and liveservicse.
    But if you can look past thoes missing features, then you will find a fun, interesting, small game.

    This game is great. The negativity's are as follows: Don't get me wrong I don't hate it because i find it boring, and i don't even hate it at all! its just that this game seems, kind of...empty. It COULD include something like, cut scenes, more options than making games but instead adding more options to do things that influence your game outside of its main development.     The beauty of Game Dev Tycoon starts to fade after hours, revealing its gigantic flaws in almost every aspects. Yet even so, it is still one hell of an addictive game development simulator.

    This game has it's moments of enjoyment for many hours, and holds up as an entertaining simulator. Gameplay, however, can get shallow after your first run through the game, and overall lacks important depth to have your company truly feel unique.     Taking into account the quite low price and the almost non-existent technical requirements, Game Dev Tycoon is a good and above all original game, albeit without great pretensions.
