Old-school round-based strategy game with well balanced game-mechanics. Don't mind the little bit ugly looks af the game. I know many better looking games that are much less fun than this one.
I loved playing it - up to one of the later missions where I just can't beat the oponent :)

I love turn based games, I don't love this. The game mechanics are awful, it just feels bad, looks bad and feels like turn based teletubbies warfare. Gonad soup.

A sci-fi turn based game - everything I love. A few complementary unit, bases and resources to conquer. Big problem is the nonexistent AI and the unbalanced campaign. One map is a show stopper, you can't beat it without cheats. Could have been a nice time waster, it's just a poorly developed game.

  1. Simple gameplay, incredible game. A nice storyline embedded in a school, featuring futuristic units – if you're into tactics and strategy, don't miss this one. Though, you don't have to save the world in Future Wars.
  2. Future Wars is simply a mediocre game. If you want a pick-up-and-play wargame, dust off Massive Assault or buy a Nintendo DS and play the real Advance Wars.

Future Wars takes a well-worn template and executes it with little more than mediocrity. [Nov 2010, p.83]
