Jul 15, 2023One of the best RTS games I have played so far. Who loves Norse mythology and everything that goes with it, this game is a must-have. It is still evolving and hopefully, we will have more nations and clans in the future and that would make a completely perfect RTS game.

Sep 3, 2022In theory, Frozenheim is something of a middle ground between a classic RTS and a meditative city-builder. This is a good concept, and the Nordic setting adds to the flair, but Frozenheim never nails either of its halves.

Sep 1, 2022Frozenheim doesn't do enough to stand out; furthermore, it suffers from some severe problems. The camera controls, unit controls, and just its overall feel makes it seem far more like an alpha build than something ready for release. While there are some small interesting things like finding free resources on the map, the game is not one to recommend.

Jul 25, 2022As the sounds and music of the Viking people play in the background, it becomes clear that Frozenheim would have benefited more by just being a city builder and making full use of its source material and inspirations. Rather than delivering an undercooked campaign mode and real-time combat, allowing players to experience life as the Norse fully would have gone a long way; alas, it was not to be, and it might be best to leave this game out in the cold if real-time strategy is what you are seeking.
