    One of my the best gaming experiences since The Witcher 3. The atmosphere is amazing, of course very depressing, but it was the aim! Looks beautiful, sounds very good, gameplay is addictive - what do you want more? And, actually, you care about your society, they are not only numbers! Fantastic game, well done 11BIT.

    It is atmospheric (music and FX) and look good, for what you can actually see (top down). But with only four to six hours of game time, and zero replayabilty once you succeed in figuring the gimmick of illogical gameplay balancing is just to hide linear development, you will be disappointed. Skip it for now, and wait for a game + full DLC pack. It is not as if the graphics are going to age much in the next 12 months.… Expand

    Frost Punk is a good city simulation game. Music and Art Style are very well done. Gameplay is ok, not too depth in management. It is more focused on making choices from various events. Unfortunately, once you beat the game, replayability is low. However, developers compensate that with few different scenarios, which gives some differenet vibe for a while.

    Challenging, story driven, your choices matter. What else could you ask for in a game like this. The graphics and feel of the game are incredible and help you dive right into character. Every decision counts and this game brutally punishes you for any mistakes. Will be played many more times to come.

    A really interesting take on a city-builder genre. A post-apocalyptic-steampunk setting is very immersive and well executed. Controls and mechanics are very intuitive, story progress is very interesting, and even though I got the feeling that there is little room for experimentation and you must play it the specific way the game wants you to play (although there is some thematic diversityA really interesting take on a city-builder genre.     Best 29.99 I’ve ever spent. If you like city builders this is for you.

    In 35+ years of playing games on consoles and PC I very rarely write reviews. I bought this on a lark because I liked Moonlighter and these studios are related. What I found was that Frost Punk is a an original masterpiece and one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had. Seriously, I’ve never been as    Best 29.99 I’ve ever spent.     What I found was that Frost Punk is a an original masterpiece and one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had. Seriously, I’ve never been as emotionally drawn into a city builder or any game for that matter.

    This beautiful game has all the pieces covered. Interesting context, story, events, city builder, resource manager that is challenging but not overly complex.

    In addition, It includes a number of great scenarios where hard decisions have to be made as well as open ended modes that are challenging and not challenging.    … Expand

    Addicting city builder. Compelling story, with impactful consequences. gameplay has a very formulaic approach. It was rewarding to figure out and sucked away countless hours in its different scenarios and difficulties.

    This game is a masterpiece as a scenario-oriented sandbox game. There can be a game over, so you can't play as slowly as Sim City.

    The game's biggest strength is its atmosphere. The music captures the feeling of hopelessness one would hope for in this scenario and the round city is a joy to look at. At its core, it's a simple city-builder with low difficulty resource management, but it manages to keep the player engaged through its runtime.

    Completed the game, all expansions + endless mode. Biggest waste of my time.
    Losing everything to because citizens are too **** dumb, nah go **** yourself.
    Losing from discontent is if not the most infuriating thing i've ever experience on this planet, whoever created this system go to hell.

    Awesome game it can be difficult for a new player but trust me after a while you will be enjoying this game. The theme is original and because of the different scenarios, you can experience different angles of this game.

Rare in these days studios make games that are different from the pack simply to cash in on zombies to battle royale genres ... and cheap enough to even afford buying their DLCs!

    Frostpunk is even more polished than TWOM and they listened to players -- YAY!    Before Frostpunk came out I played This War of Mine, and liked it so much, I bought every DLC 11bit studios has to show my support. Rare in these days studios make games that are different from the pack simply to cash in on zombies to battle royale genres ... and cheap enough to even afford buying their DLCs!

    Frostpunk is even more polished than TWOM and they listened to players -- YAY! -- wanting different game modes from hardcore survival, to building and managing the ideal city. The wealth of play modes (with sliders to add or remove what you want to be hardcore or casual to tailor it even finer); the efforts of modders to add content; and it's 1880s art style; with the right game music for suspense and mystery and horrors of their games, is all refreshing for such a good price.

    Not many games pass my criticism for a complete game from game play to themes, and rarely would I rate any "10", but Frostpunk does for how they listen to players; sell games at a fair price; and any DLC isn't some absolute cash grab. It passes the gamer sniff tests of quality, value and continued support (they keep adding content for years after the initial game release and fixes bugs, too. There's more content later on in the year, too). AAA+ for a indie studio who does gaming and gamers a service.    … Expand

    A very nice game that got me super hooked on it for a few days, but once you've completed the main story and messed around endless mode, then the game gets very pointless and boring.

    So this is a game that you'd love to play for about 10 hours, but then never look back at again.
    well worth the download for Xbox game Pass members...

    the atmosphere of the game is really excellent, the difficulty is really present, we can easily be immersed in the game

    but the extension encounters bugs that the studio does not seem to want to solve it's a shame

    E' un profondo gestionale-survival dove il nostro obbiettivo sarà garantire la sopravvivenza a numerosi rifugiati da un ambiente fortemente ostile. In che modo? Assicurando calore, cibo e adottando le (numerose) leggi e scelte morali presenti nel gioco. Riuscirai a salvare le vite di chi si affida a te? E a quale prezzo? Gioco eccellente in tutti gli aspetti.

    This game is just overall great. The story really grabs you straight away and I was immediately hooked. The graphics, aesthetics and music of the game are all top-notch. This game does not hold your hand and is challenging, but fair at the same time. It can seem overwhelming at first but the ingame tutorials do a good job of steering you on the right path.     it is good! though a bit simple on the mechanics and options. I wish I could zoom more to see things in more detail. the soundtrack and overall visual design are true masterpieces. don't know if it a really hard game or I am bad at these types of games. but it is a totally worth experience.

    An original strategy with an original gameplay that requires making difficult moral choices to save people. The game is relatively difficult and you will probably not be able to save the settlement on the first attempt.

    If you like RTS games and good stories, It's what you need. Gorgeous game-play experience, very tragic story. An 11 bit classic!

    Welcome to the cold apocalypse, citizen !

    Most of your fellows died of frost, wounds or lost bullets to the neck at short range.

    Epic soundtrack,
    Good graphism,
    Great gameplay, but not that hard, the scenarios adds some difficulties but it gets pretty predictable.

    It has great political moral conflicts.
    A great game, hope it won't become a reality soon...

    Games looks pretty good, but 3 scenario are very short. When you fall you fall. Play again. But when you win? You can not continue in your city builded. I want to choice continue after do what scenairo want.

    Frostpunk is a city-building simulation game that puts an emphasis not just on efficiency, but also the moral qualities of the player as a leader. Even if you normally don’t play simulation games, you will definitely be able to appreciate its uniqueness on a lower difficulty setting.

    Frostpunk is bleak. Really bleak. Each decision serves not to ensure progress, but to ensure survival against overwhelming odds. It’s essentially a Crisis Management Simulator, and I love it for that. Just remember to play something more cheerful immediately afterwards.

    Scripted events will get annoying, but the very foundation chills to the bones. Extraordinary building strategy, with which you will literally freeze. [Issue#286]
