    It's really nice to see Xbox finally winning again (and PC wins anyway, because PC gets all Xbox and Playstation games). But Forza Horizon is amazing racing game, one of the best, if not the best. It has DeLorean, what else do you want? Amazing graphics, even better than FH4. Open World makes Forza stand out from all the other racing games. Also, over 530 cars. Xbox is clearly on topIt's really nice to see Xbox finally winning again (and PC wins anyway, because PC gets all Xbox and Playstation games). But Forza Horizon is amazing racing game, one of the best, if not the best. It has DeLorean, what else do you want? Amazing graphics, even better than FH4. Open World makes Forza stand out from all the other racing games. Also, over 530 cars. Xbox is clearly on top again, because PS5 has absolutely no games until like February 2022. Halo Infinite Multiplayer is amazing and it's easily best shooter of 2021, both BF and COD look like jokes compared to it. Can't wait for Halo campaign in December. Good times!… Expand

    It really is great now that it works. Amazing feel, graphics.. the only thing I used to hate of the previous horizons was cross country - now it’s my favourite activity.

The driving mechanics are also much improved and feels a little but more like forza motorsport, which is a good thing. Going fast in this game actually feels like you are going fast unlike in horizon 4 where going 200 mph and 100 mph felt exactly the same. Also the map is much better than horizon 4s boring map of the UK. Horizon 5’s Mexico is much more varied in terms of environment and it looks a hell of a lot better too. The game overall is nearly flawless, however there are issues that need to be fixed asap. The biggest issue at the moment is the connection issues this game keeps having. There are also a lot of glitches and bugs in the game that need to be fixed.… Expand

    On one hand, I get that it's a way to validate the open world of the game, since without them, you'd basically just be roaming around an empty world going from event to event, but on the other hand, a lot of them are a real pain in the ass getting to.
    I think that 4 Forza is better than this edition.

I have heard there are a lot of bugs but so far I haven't encountered any that are game breaking (couple of graphical glitches here and there) but the game has ridiculous load times if not played on an SSD.     Forza Horizon 4, but it's better. Optimization in this game is awesome, I'm getting nearly the same frame count as in FH4, but graphics are better.
    Better gameplay, more exciting cars and simple controls. That's what a good game is.

    Seems fun and pretty but basically the same as FH4 with different scenery. These bland racing games aren't really for me though so you might like it more. I'd like to see VR support since playing Cars in VR is way more exciting then this brand new game on a flat monitor.

My issue stems from the lack of new content compared to Forza Horizon 4. The whole tier leveling up system is gone, but it is just replaced with accolades. Some of which are broken at the time of writing this. There is a lack of new modes. Eliminator and Super 7 wereIt's a bit disappointing in the state that's been released in. It's a fun game and probably the best racing game out there. My issue stems from the lack of new content compared to Forza Horizon 4. The whole tier leveling up system is gone, but it is just replaced with accolades. Some of which are broken at the time of writing this. There is a lack of new modes. Eliminator and Super 7 were implemented in Horizon 4. The worst is the lack of new cars licensing aside. At this moment (November 18, 2021) there are exactly twenty new cars. Twenty in a game that launched with over 500 is extremely sad. There are outdated models of cars that could be easily replaced. Audi and Volkswagen in particular suffer from this. The 2020 Volkswagen Golf was made in Mexico and could have easily replaced the 2014 Golf, but they decided to keep the 2014 version instead. The Vocho is the wrong model. It is not the beloved model found in Mexico but rather the older European model. Speaking of which, the license plates are the license plates from the UK. Why do all of the cars in Mexico have UK plates. Clothing seems to still be abundant as well as other cosmetics like emotes. Luckily they aren't as intrusive as in Horizon 4. There is no way to tell how much cash you won after a race. You will have to get back to the main map and hope to get the glimpse of it fast before it disappears. At least the engine sounds are fixed and tire smoke is good enough.… Expand

    The game is the dream of any racer fan out there. It loooks absolutely stunning. If you add a good reshade it looks real. The amout of options and details this game offers is mind blowing. Having a blast playing. A masterpiece

The other one was a laptop with an Intel Core i7-10750H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q. One notable thing about the install on the laptop was that I installed it on a spinning hard drive.

    The game performed fantastically, excepting of course for the connectivity issues surrounding the launch. I will not dock points for that because the game is still playable in offline mode and it's something I saw coming with the 4.5 million players at launch.
    The visuals look stunning and managed to maintain a rock solid 60FPS during normal gameplay on my PC.
    The game really performs best at higher settings if you play with an SSD. I ran into the Low Streaming Bandwidth issue twice during the opening drive when running at High on my laptop.
    The controls are responsive and don't need too many micro adjustments when steering compared to its predecessor.
    I look forward to seeing how well Playground Games will do with the new Fable game.    … Expand

    This game is FAR from finished. No matter what car you use, the AI is much faster, has infinite grip when taking turns at high speed, and turns unrealistically. Also, the optimization is probably worse than Horizon 3. Then, there's the random bugs that bring your car down from 200 mph to 0 in a blink. Besides that, it's the same Forza formula that you're well accustom to by now.

    You want to get lots of exp and credits fast for the cars you want? do the 30 minutes races created by the community with the max difficulty and no assistance

    Amazing game I start just driving around and then look at the time and its 2 hours later and i never even started a race. I did encounter 1 crash in my 30 hours . The map is amazing it seems to have more diverse locations than all the previous horizon games combined.     The game in general is good but come on.. The game is far from a complete game, there is still a lot of bugs, loading screen time in online is unbelievable. Stuttering and the wall collision time seems unmatched to the actual speed when bumping in to the wall. This game has potential but they released an unfinished game.

    Forza Horizon 5 is probably my favourite racing game ever I rarely ever delve into the genre but the game is just so much fun to look at and play it's truly a marvel in gaming. Throw in an awesome soundtrack, interesting characters and a decent story this has to be my game of the year for 2021 absolutely phenomenal

And when you modify your car it’s gonna change the car dynamics and the speed and all things. Not like in GTA where you can modify your car as well but there your car just gonna be faster and that’s all. So i can say the Forza Horizon series is the best car driving game i ever played!… Expand

    The game itself should be amazing but the constant crashes make it infuriating to play at times. Incredibly disappointing that it seems cars are not even upgradable on PC, as it crashes every time I attempt to change tires.

    Just because the game looks good doesn't justify being riddled with bugs. Screen Narrator constantly comes on even though I set it to off every single time I start the game. My steering wheel settings just disappear every time I come back to the game.     Ótima otimização, trilha sonora boa, jogabilidade ótima, gráficos muito bonitos e com bastante detalhes, com certeza um dos melhores jogos de corrida atualmente, apenas poderiam melhorar um pouco a personalização dos carros, mas ótimo jogo, e também poderiam ter inovado um pouco mais em relação ao Forza horizon 4.

    There is no doubt that this game is one of the best, if it comes to racing arcade games. But I do not think that this deserves to have 90-100 score review.

    As many other said before: there is not much improved since the last version. Better graphic and another map. They indeed reworked the sounds, but forgot about all else thinkgs. Horizon Arcade, is impossible to be completed, even    There is no doubt that this game is one of the best, if it comes to racing arcade games. But I do not think that this deserves to have 90-100 score review.

    Horizon Arcade, is impossible to be completed, even when 4 people gather, tasks are so hard, that you will need additional people. And since there are now 3 events at one time, not one main one like before, causes that nobody attends them.

    The worst experience is mulpiplayer though. On 10 online games, in 9 of them I experienced bugs. For example, "zombie chase" - i had the whole map to ride on, so no one could infect me. On eliminator most often you can't see other people, can't start a race with enemy, or when you get to the finish line, it does not allow you to finish the race. Also there are a lot of hackers, best track times take less than second for best hackers (visible in scoreboard).    … Expand

    I've been following the Horizon series back since the original game in 2012 and been watching the game improve on every release and always think how can they improve this anymore but they smash it everytime. I must say the Horizon 5 map is by the biggest and most detailed map in the whole series.

    I thought I was buying a car game, I got a pro LGBT world with cars that go 350km/h on dirt roads without ever having to brake. This game sucks, it only serves to flatter the ego, it requires no skill. It has as much in common with cars as a duck and a Saturn V rocket.

    The best arcade racing game in history. There is no big news compared to Forza 4, but everything is improved and almost perfect. On my i7 3770k and GTX1080, everything works absolutely great.

    I never thought this day would come but... This game is a complete freakin mess on PC. After FH4 that ran almost flawlessly for 3 straight years, on PC, this is a disaster beyond belief.

    There's just too many bugs and issues for the game to be enjoyable. It seems all the love went into the XSS/X versions of the game, while the remaining platforms were completely **** on big time. From    I never thought this day would come but... This game is a complete freakin mess on PC. After FH4 that ran almost flawlessly for 3 straight years, on PC, this is a disaster beyond belief.

    There's just too many bugs and issues for the game to be enjoyable. It seems all the love went into the XSS/X versions of the game, while the remaining platforms were completely **** on big time. From performance degradation due to memory leak issues to stutter, low streaming bandwidth errors, bad LODs, broken graphics settings, swapped engine sounds between cars, floating cars in specific cutscenes, graphical corruption on roads for no reason, you name it!

    I've played it for less than a week and called it a day because of how bad it is atm. I've been playing FH4 because, sadly it looks and runs miles better than FH5 at this very moment. And it's not like I can get a refund now. I've pre-ordered it through the Microsoft Store with wallet credits because I trusted them. Never in my life I expected such a rushed port from Playground Games. I'm super sad with all this. I was super hyped ever since Jeff Grubb leaked it and this is what I got. I even upgraded my GPU mostly because of this game...

    And what's even worse is that the game came out officially on the 9th and there's hasn't been a single patch nor hotfix yet.

    I do not recommend this game on PC right now. Wait for patches to come. Till then, don't do it!    … Expand

    Una vergüenza cómo han lanzado este juego.
    Hay que hacer malavares para poder utilizar el volante (Fanatec DD1) en el juego, y cuando lo consigues, ni el Force Feedback ni los LEDS del volante funcionan.

It has a great selection of cars, a huge world, tons of things to do (maybe too many things, since it feels like the game is telling me something new I should do after every race, when all I really want to do is race), and it's absolutely beautiful.

    But the problem is that even the best open-world game is still an open-world game. This means that you'll spend half of your playtime driving to a race, instead of racing. It means that all the races feel kind of samey, because they were put into an existing world, instead of each being designed from scratch. It means that you have to learn a weird user interface where you can't just buy the cars you want, but have to find them in a barn first, or have to win them in some kind of lottery, or participate in an online auction, or do some other odd thing that has nothing to do with racing. It also means that this game feels exactly like the last one. I was looking forward to the Mexico setting, but the reality is that when I'm in a Dirt race in some backwater forest, it looks and feels and sounds and plays exactly like Horizon 4.

    The longer I play this game, the more it makes me appreciate games like Dirt 5 or Motorstorm, or the old Burnout games, or Wreckfest. Games that cut out all the open-world rigmarole, and just focus on the actual racing, and on amazing tracks that are fun to race.    … Expand

    As a person who played every Forza since FM5 I can confidently say that this game is an absolute trash, at least at the moment I am writing this.     Forza Horizon was never famous for it’s plot, but they decided to add one into this game and it’s cringe af.
    Graphics is worse than it was in fh4, especially draw distance, strange stripes in the middle of the screen with turned on SSAO, often textures look like they are directly from GTA VC even on extreme graphics preset.
    Luckily, driving experience itself is good (especially sounds), despite connection and graphical issues and other bugs.
    As a conclusion, I would firstly like to say, that I wasn’t expecting lots of new features and that I am absolutely satisfied with overall Horizon conception, so I am not considering such a little amount of changes since fh4 as a con, however, I wasn’t expecting this game to have so many bugs that it’s literally unplayable for the half of players. Playground - shame, you had 1 extra year, but the game feels like you had 1 year less.
    Still wondering how people give this 10/10, especially now. 4/10 max, if they fix all issues- definitely 7-8/10    … Expand

    Best racing game 2021, amazing sound, visuals and gameplay. Runs great on my PC at extreme settings. The detail in the cars and landscapes is amazing

    The game doesn't even work. It's been out for a week, crashes to desktop for a ton of people - me included - without any kind of explanation or crash report and all the workarounds online publications have gathered don't work. It's been out for over a week and no patch so far. Unacceptable.

    Never played something so beautiful and fun in my life.
    The open work of this game is more realistic than any other game on the market, and in this case you moce around at 300km/h. Amazing.
    Can't believe the level of detail of this game. Must have.

    Horrible game. If you get around the technical issues the game has and you can actually play, its a totally bland experience. If you know how FH4 played, you will get nothing new for your money. A new map and shiny reflections with lens flares is what you get.

This was a huge problem in past entries too, and it is absolutely unforgivable that it isn't fixed in entry #5.     beautiful game, well crafted and creative maps with a good immersiveness that a racing game can bring. However, when it comes to new mechanics and gameplay, the game fails to bring new commands and different ways to play, giving the feeling that you are just playing a dlc of the fourth game.

When I play a racing game, I expect a "from rags to riches" type of sense of progression; to play hard to earn the best cars; not log into the game and checking mail for them.

    If you are progression minded like myself, just wait for Test Drive: Solar Crown and hope KT Racing doesnt go down that same path.    … Expand

    ONLINE is not working at all and this is unacceptable. AI really sucks and that make offline racing bored. And there are some visual bug too.
    Really disapointed, this is why reviewers and youtubers dont even mention Online racing in their reviews…

Por mais que não tenha aquela evolução gritante de conteúdo que nem foi do 3 pro 4, a evolução e adição que teve dos conteúdos foi bastante boa na minha opinião, a aventura Horizon é algo bem satisfatório de se jogar. Tirando isso, não dou nota 9 ou 10 por causa dos bugs que eu tive em questão deO game é incrível, a ambientação é muito viva e eu amo tudo o que o jogo tem a oferecer. Por mais que não tenha aquela evolução gritante de conteúdo que nem foi do 3 pro 4, a evolução e adição que teve dos conteúdos foi bastante boa na minha opinião, a aventura Horizon é algo bem satisfatório de se jogar. Tirando isso, não dou nota 9 ou 10 por causa dos bugs que eu tive em questão de performance no PC por estar rodando o jogo em um HD. Wheel support is still not quite there...counter-steering oversteer is literally easier in DiRT Rally (a simulation game) than it is in this arcade game, using a G29.     Forza horizon 5 has great optimization on all platforms . FH5 has lots of beautiful places and graphic and sound quality are super realistic but Forza horizon 5 on pc has few bugs but its ok for me

    Before criticizing, read what the changelog is. There are major updates in the game and you can't tell that by watching videos or playing for 3 hours.

    Multiplayer is buggy, music is terrible, setting is dull, story is cringe, developers are woke. If you want to get some enjoyment out of it; think of it as a FH4 expansion, turn off the multiplayer, turn on a FH4 music playlist on youtube. And voila you got yourself a mediocre game.

It feels more responsive and doesn't screw anything up. Graphically the game is beautiful, even when set to low you can see the depth of graphical fidelity and how much work was put into it. Although I personally would've liked a new motorsport game, I am not complaining about this. The PC version of Forza Horizon 5 is damn near perfect in my eyes, if it weren't for two things that bother me.

    For one, the game constantly has trouble starting up with me, always showing an error message that my graphics drivers are out of date - which they are anything but. I update them to the absolute latest version so all of my games run smoothly with minimal hiccups, this is the only one I've had this issue with. I also experience a strange issue where the entire license plate background shows up as black, with black letters on top of that. It shouldn't be an issue but it bothers me. But the game is mechanically, mostly visually, and generally damn near perfect. Love it.    … Expand

    The graphics, lighting and weather effects are some of the best we've seen in a racing game, but of course it's all about the cars. Although this is an arcade racer that does not focus on realism but rather on short and fast action, the cars behave truthfully and react differently whether you are driving on a track, on the street or off road. The controls have been kept simple, making the game accessible to just about anyone. Altogether, this makes Forza Horizon 5 the most fun racing game of the moment.

    I don't think there's a motoring enthusiast who won't be excited about Forza Horizon 5, with a slight caveat for those who have had their fill of Forza Horizon 4 and might want more of the same - though honestly, I can't imagine how the formula could be improved upon, which in the arcade driving department is bordering on perfection. It promises and delivers an incomparably customizable driving experience, with dream-cars, in breathtaking landscapes.
