    average of 30-45 fps. full of sellout dlcs that dont really fit into the game. cringe dialogue. repetitive races. this is peak soulless game industry.

    Games are outside politics, they said. I was going to buy the game, but it is not in the steam, as it turned out later, all Microsoft products were removed from the Russian Federation.

    The game itself is extremely good, but when you run into problems, and try to contact customer support. It wont answer you... just like that. It will close all your tickets with no answer at all.

    Do not recommend!

    The worst Forza game I've played. Cringe for stupid kids, terrible level design, progression system, soulless world, not much innovation other than seasons which are IMO annoying, and FFB which doesn't pair well with Forza physics anyway. And of course, the worst sounds Forza ever had...

    Alors que dire, aucune évolution par rapport au 3 si ce n'est les graphisme un petit peut mieux et une conduite devenue catastrophique.
    Les lumière et reflet son mieux que sur le 3 même si c'est subtile.
    La conduite est catastrophique et incohérente, pour un jeu ce voulant arcade et accessible et bien il ne l'est pas, c'est inconduisible de par la physique du jeux mais aussi la gestion    Alors que dire, aucune évolution par rapport au 3 si ce n'est les graphisme un petit peut mieux et une conduite devenue catastrophique.

    Terrible just plain terrible. Driving a Chiron for a stunt after 30 minutes of play is pretty lame, especially the fact that the Chiron has problem hitting 300 kph (:scratch head:)

    Maybe its just me because I played so much Need For Speed Heat before trying this game, but please do yourself a favor, buy Need For Speed Heat first, then if you have money to lose on something maybe, just    Terrible just plain terrible.     В онлайне дикий дисбаланс. Сделайте режим со стандартными машинами для всех, а не кастомными. Я не собираюсь защищать докторскую диссертацию по физике каждой машины и попиксельно изменять ползунки в тюнинге для победы. Механика "прозрачности" машин, когда вы можете толкать кого-то, а через пару секунд уже нет -    Сингл норм - правда боты слабые даже на максимальном уровне сложности...

    Механика "прозрачности" машин, когда вы можете толкать кого-то, а через пару секунд уже нет - просто ужасна. Едешь на полной скорости - тебя спокойно пихают в зад и скидывают с дороги. А когда ты хочешь кого-то на повороте подрезать - внезапно начинаешь через него проезжать)
    Замедление при столкновении со стеной - АХАХХАХААХАХ.
    Т.е. потраченное время на разворот еще больше тратится замедлением, спасибо)
    А че б вообще не кикать с сервера, если врезался ?
    Постойте, а оно ведь выкидывает периодически из игры)
    В быстром приключении (от которого я бы хотел избавиться, так как не всегда есть время играть несколько гонок подряд с перерывами на загрузки всех игроков, а нормальных режимов для 1 быстрой гонки нет) постоянно одни и те же карты.
    Скорость загрузки других людей дольше чем GTA 5.
    Последний раз я ждал 20 минут начала игры - зашел а гонка только началась и люди грузились, потом гонка шла минут 5, затем опять люди грузились.

    Не рекомендую покупать для сетевой игры!    … Expand

    The Forza Horizon series, in my opinion is the most boring experience ever.
    As someone who has his life dedicated to cars in a lot of ways, from being interested in them mechanically, to drawing them professionally and of course playing driving games.

    From the very start, that game just gives and gives and gives...
    Me: buys a lower end car at the beginning, expecting a real sense of progression, the game : Here are 10 supercars for you ! The game is hot garbage ! In the first couple of hours of playing both recent games, I get a damn Ferrari and a Lambo... In other games such as Need for Speed, The Crew... You actually have to work your way up to get that dream supercar... Also, not only the progression is a thing non existent in Horizon games, the cars handle awfully, like on ice ! Even when slowing down enough, the cars casually slide into a wall... The only good thing I have to say about the game are the graphics and some nice cars...But that is pretty much it...    … Expand

    They called it a simulation but cars race on asphalt like on ice and slide on every corner. I know drifting could be sexy but just do not call it simulation.

    No matter what I do, game just does not start and crashes on startup.
    I have a nearly top PC, latest Windows 10, latest nVidia drivers. Web is full of workarounds of how to fix Forza Horizon 4 crashes. I see that I have no conflicting software. But even if I would: I paid money for the game, made by Microsoft for Microsoft operating system.    Bought a Steam version of this game.
    No matter what I do, game just does not start and crashes on startup.
    I have a nearly top PC, latest Windows 10, latest nVidia drivers.

    Web is full of workarounds of how to fix Forza Horizon 4 crashes.
    I see that I have no conflicting software.

    The game looks pretty and that's it. The online experience is ass. The cringy character that is dubbing like a whore or otherwise kids wouldn't buy so you are forced to watch it on every god damn loading screen which is like 50% of this game. Bots are ass like always and seem like they just ignore weather mechanic and by god don't you dare touch them or them are going to hit the wall andThe game looks pretty and that's it.     Great graphics but everything else is poor. AI is impossible, poor controls, uncalled for mud, snow and ice, stupid clothes and emotes. I gave the game a good try but cannot enjoy it.

    I've been never more disappointed with a game before. I've bought the game at release for €60 and would have given 10/10. Everything was great, the cars, the gameplay, etc.. But the game is literally unplayable at the moment.

    First i couldn't get in the game because of a crash issue, that could not be fixed. Then i had to delete my save files to even get in to the game. After that there    I've been never more disappointed with a game before. I've bought the game at release for €60 and would have given 10/10. Everything was great, the cars, the gameplay, etc.. But the game is literally unplayable at the moment.

    First i couldn't get in the game because of a crash issue, that could not be fixed. Then i had to delete my save files to even get in to the game. After that there are still crashing issues that don't allow me to play. I wrote tickets to the support but both times i was just told (after a week of waiting for an answer) to head over to a forum page and try possible solutions (which i already did and i told them so) and to update the game. So after 3(!!) weeks of anger with the support and the game I've given up.

    It is really a shame to say this, but don't buy the game. I've spend more time looking for fixes, then playing the game. And that for a 60€ game, is just ridicules.    … Expand

    While its a fun game with great graphics, cars & location. Network issues plague this game. You get constantly disconnected and worst bit is when you're at the point of winning races you get disconnected and waste all your efforts. its frustrating to the point of throwing your keyboard. A waste of $100.

    4 horas de relleno para luego ser lo mismo, han querido hacer un juego muy libre y eso no me gusta, el Horizon 1 estaba bien, aburría al final, pero no es este desperpento. Al menos hay una emisora de música clásica y mola.

    Don't bother - poorly optimized, full of annoying obtrusive ads, way too much stuff locked behind additional pay-walls.
    The game is extremely greedy, surprised so many people just let that stuff slide nowadays.

    Got it via the xbox pass and i definitely wouldn't shell out the money for it. I have played Forza before but no horizon.
    Sure it looks good and driving mechanics are solid and satifying but overall the negatives still outweigh the positives.

It is shameful and one of the reasons people think Playstation exclusives are better. There was literally even an unskippable 3 minute ad for their season pass whatever when I unlocked the last Season. That was a first for me.

    The Plot of FH4 is pure and unadulterated cringe. It makes me feel ashamed to play this game. You basically play as a Race Driver/Influencer and the world is seemingly welcoming you absolutely trashing the countryside and reward you with real estate and vintage cars. If they cut this crap the game would be less obnoxious. If this isn't too bad for you, as others pointed out there is unskippable blabber every once in a while. I hated basically every aspect of my character and the story.

    I couldn't believe my **** eyes when I first encountered the Wheel Spin. Yes, you basically unlock your in-game stuff through a microtransaction-lootbox. And naturally the game teases it's marketplace everytime it can. It seems like they pulled a total Ubisoft: Cut out content from the last game and try to get the chumps to pay extra this time.

    BUT: i still had fun though, the game is absolutely gorgeous and there are a LOT of cars to unlock (grind or pay up ofc). The very detailed car customization was probably my favorite part and the race events basically let you choose which car you and your opponents respectively will drive.

    Also the voice-over called me by my real name when i first started the game. Never do that! It's creepy. Why would you even choose to do so?

    Technically a good game marred by exec greed like we see in other games, which is embarassing to have in an exclusive, 'showcase' game

    Edit: As pretty as this game looks, the cars sound underwhelming but not game breaking. Might piss off some car enthusiast (which i am definitely not) but it is not a biggie for me just a bit 'meh'.

    if it wasn't for the grind (you can pay to progress, aka Ubisoft-grind not traditional grind) and season pass nonsense i would recommend this game    … Expand

    Zu Release konnte man das Spiel mit OBS problemlos streamen und dies ist seit einigen Updates nicht mehr möglich.
    Noch dazu ist es nicht Möglich seinen Spielstand zu löschen und einen neuen Spielstand anzulegen. Früher konnte man ohne Internetverbindung einen neuen Spielstand mit Hilfe eines Tricks anlegen    Wie länger das Spiel auf dem Markt ist, desto mehr Probleme tauchen leider auf.
    Zu Release konnte man das Spiel mit OBS problemlos streamen und dies ist seit einigen Updates nicht mehr möglich.
    Noch dazu ist es nicht Möglich seinen Spielstand zu löschen und einen neuen Spielstand anzulegen.
    Früher konnte man ohne Internetverbindung einen neuen Spielstand mit Hilfe eines Tricks anlegen und wenn man heute versucht das Spiel zurück zu setzen und ohne Internetverbindung zu starten muss man das gesamte Spiel erneut runterladen.

    So I am going to start this off to let you know Microsoft deletes bad reviews, at least on their store spaces (like Xbox, game pass, etc.) which is a red flag right there. They have deleted 3 of mine, and I didnt use any bad language and it was nothing but fair critisim.

    This game does have a lot of content and does look good, but there are so many issues that will leave you angry.    So I am going to start this off to let you know Microsoft deletes bad reviews, at least on their store spaces (like Xbox, game pass, etc.) which is a red flag right there.     This game does have a lot of content and does look good, but there are so many issues that will leave you angry. Speaking of content, there is a lot, but its very repetitive, and unlike the previous Horizons, there is even less of a coherent story and world building.

    There is still a ton of people who cant even get the game to launch and support has been of 0 help. It happened to me too, but I found a way around it, did some searching on the internet and found a solution for myself. Its amazing how bad the support is for this game, and this is a wide spread issue.

    The next major issue with the game is there is no voice chat. I have had a support ticket for a year and still haven't had word back. So my guess is it will never work, and it really degrades the experience in so many ways since there is emphasis on social aspects. It is 100% broken it doesnt work even if your in a convoy together; it really makes it hard to communicate on team missions.

    So the next problem would take a lot to explain but I will try to give you the short and sweet version. The AIs since the last update (maybe a few updates ago) are all messed up now. Instead of the higher difficulties being smarter or better drivers, it just makes their cars faster (which is a HUGE problem because there are class limits) and defy physics. Again without writing a book, there are so many other things the AIs can do that will make you angry and just pull the realism out of the experience, but that's just a taste.

    The next thing is the physics, which I thought Forza was supposed to be like Gran Turismo and realistic, but sometimes the physics get a bit screwy. Especially against certain people online and the higher difficulty AIs, this is what will make you want to throw your controller through the TV. Theres nothing like when your about to win a long and difficult race, and then at the very end hit some kind of invisible wall, and loose everything.

    There are a lot of other annoyances that again will make you just say "What!? Why!?", but I have made this long enough, but know there are a lot of other issues I can point out.    … Expand

    I'm just one of the thousands of customers stupid enough to buy this thinking it would run on pc. After trying all the fixes suggested by the "support" team it still crashes every time. Well over a year after release and still not even an attempt to fix this issue plaguing a huge amount of people. I guess once they had their money the devs/publisher ceased to care.     After a bit too conservative Forza Horizon 3, which was just an improved second Horizon, the latest game in the series easily exceeded my expectations. Its world is enormous and full of various activities (including seasonal events), the driving model is exceptional both on and off road, there are over 450 varied cars and the PC version is spectacular. All that makes Forza Horizon 4 the best open world racing game I have ever played. [12/2018, p.66]

    With the implementation of seasons and a new location, this installment in the series make for a wonderful, fulfilling racing experience, although it has a few minor bugs that need fixing.

    Playground Games newest addition to the open world racing genre is everything you can expect from a game that belongs to the Forza family. It’s easy to learn due its granular design, yet it provides deep tuning tools for the connoisseur. Despite its numerous and solid online systems that feeds its communities, the series feels like it has forgotten its competitive roots. Despite this, Forza Horizon 4 invites you to take part in its copious amenities and, in the end, the experience feels like your own, as long as you do not demand too much from the multiplayer.
