Jul 5, 2018Not only don't add anything new to the tower defense genre, besides it has a just mediocre gameplay, very simple levels and feels unbalanced. They're better options in the market to play this, tbh.

Apr 17, 2017A decent third-person-shooter/tower defense hybrid in the vein of games like Orcs Must Die or Iron Brigade, though simpler in execution with less content overall. Its got what it needs: Some progression, four player coop, and an amusing 50s pulp asthetic.

Mar 9, 2016Fortified is an enjoyable romp through a criminally underused setting, but is held back by the jack of all trades nature of the action tower defence genre. It'll be fun with friends, and for a few hours alone, but mileage may vary.

Feb 19, 2016Having said that, if tower defense games are your cup of tea then this is a great addition as the ability to be on the ground with your troops really does add a sense of personal involvement that is lacking in all the more traditional top down place and sit back style games.
