    I loved this VN! I haven't played a lot that break the mold like this, but this was a really cool story that had a lot of twists and turns. It kept me guessing up until the very end. I even played through it in one sitting after the first big twist. The ending felt a lil contrived for me, but I think it's probably better for my sanity that it was. Crazy good for a free game!     Find Love or Die Trying started off really well. It has a good sense of humour and did a good job building the mystery of the story. I also liked the different women to choose from. I figured that I would probably only want to know more about one or two but to be honest I found myself growing attached to four of the five contestants as well as Kat. Where the game started to lose me was near the end as the mystery unfolded. I didn’t really care for some of the reveals and I will also say that some of it didn’t make much sense. I won’t go into spoilers but suffice to say I thought the twists had more to give than I got. I will also say that while there are a decent amount of choices on the surface many of them don’t really branch the story much if at all. The one interesting end I found turned out to have a very abrupt finish without much in the way of epilogue or explanation. Really many choices boil down to whether you are interested in a girl and want to give a response that will endear them to you more as well as picking a girl at the end. There is apparently eight endings but if each girl is counted as an ending then it would mean that seven of the eight endings change the story very little overall if I’m right and have little to do with the choices you made. The art; music and sound effects were all fantastic and deserve praise.

    I played Find Love or Die Trying on Linux. It never crashed and I didn’t notice any spelling errors. You can manually save any time you want and there are fifty four save slots. Alt-Tab didn’t work.

    Overall I didn’t dislike the game but at the same time I find it hard to recommend due to the way the story panned out. The game may be free but there are many good visual novels that are free of charge. I finished my first play through in three hours and one minute.

    It's an ok game that I can definitely recommend because it's for free but I feel like it didn't give me a lot of emotions.

    for a free game this is an absolute 10/10, must try, the story is great, and the story is amazing :)

    I got this as a joke, called my character Shut Up, and had a blasting time. The game has minor flaws like typos but given the price of free, it is undoubtedly a 10/10. It's one of those games that are best-played blind and the quality of the game urges you to support the creator through the DLC. Fantastic game and looking forward to more of Auden Jin's work.
