    This is what happens when developers focus on consoles. Any franchise becomes a typical hide-and-seek shooter where all the drive and adrenaline that we loved the first part is lost. In addition to the console priority, the developers succumbed to the influences of the trends of the time, which made the game a dud.

    To be fair, all the same problems were present in the sequel, but in the third part these ideas and misunderstanding of its audience reached its peak.
    Everything in the game became cartoonish. When I got to the level where you have to fight off zombies, I was very disappointed and didn't want to continue playing because Day 1 Studios had turned a once terrible action game into a circus.
    After an average sequel, Part 3 hammered the final nail in the coffin of the FEAR series, and rightly so, because you can't make that many mistakes and ignore your audience.    … Expand

    - the slow-mo time is too short, there are a lot of cases, when it makes the game very difficult, there was 1 time, when I had to set the lowest difficulty level to go through that situation...
    - not satisfying ending of the story, and it leaves the game "open", so the developers gave themselves the possibility to continue it later (this is poor attitude, they should focus on    Contras:

    I played it many years ago and my memories are faint regarding this title (this review above was saved in a text file long ago), but it was an intense game.
    Obviously the first game was the real deal (mint title!) back in the day, the sequels are rather money makers, but it was quite alright. I think I played through the whole franchise and finished it with a bittersweet taste in my mouth. The first episode was remarkable .    … Expand

    Very good jester, especially in co-op, playing as a ghost is priceless, teamwork and finding glowing bodies is amazing

    Это какой-то ужас. Причем в плохом смысле. В принципе, все что было сказано про F.E.A.R. 2 - почти полностью подходит и к этой части, кроме того момента, что мне и в момент выхода игра уже казалась какой-то фуфлыжной, и такой же и запомнилась.

    В общем, все плохо: геймплей, локации, музыка, сюжет, а дизайн ГГ и вообще эти катсцены (когда взрослый ГГ и фантомный брат) напоминают какой-то    Это какой-то ужас. Причем в плохом смысле. В принципе, все что было сказано про F.E.A.R. 2 - почти полностью подходит и к этой части, кроме того момента, что мне и в момент выхода игра уже казалась какой-то фуфлыжной, и такой же и запомнилась.

Превратили F.E.A.R., атмосферный хоррор-шутан, в какой-то аркадный и совсем уж бездумный шутер, где после каждой миссии дают очки... как в каком-нибудь Serious Sam или Doom. Хотя я не помню, были ли в Serious Sam или Doom очки после миссии, но сравнение я думаю понятно.

    Честно говоря, я уже просто молился чтобы игра закончилась побыстрее, чтобы допройти уже до конца и объективно написать ревью.

    Однако, тут довольно прикольные катсцены между главами, где два брата в психиатрической камере (или палате, комнате). Но лучше не тратьте время на эту лабуду и просто посмотрите эти ролики на ютубе, коих и наскребётся на минут 5-10.

    Удалите первый уровень из игры вообще, Это ужас, Только из-за него не стоит играть даже. Представьте решетку в фильмах к зоне 52 и теперь представьте что она не простреливается. Это как вообще?     Compared to other games in the franchise I would say that this is the worst, it does not cause terror or any distress to those who play it, it works very well as an action game but even so it becomes sickening. I recommend that if you play this game, play with a friend.

    I would say that F.E.A.R 3 is a good game in terms of action and all, however it is not scary and does not compare to the other games in the series, the story disappointed me a lot and I must say that I would prefer it to be different. I had a lot of fun playing this game but honestly it is the worst in the F.E.A.R.

Я ничего не могу выделить в этой игре, графика - посредственна, сюжет - скучный, левел дизайн - никакой, ИИ - тоже, стрельба - аналогично предыдущим пунктам. Я дропнул эту игру на фавелах.     I do not delve too much into the plot of the game - it is the culmination of Alma Wade's story.
    The game is short, because it lasts less than 6 hours, but the developers have left the players with the tools to play and increase the number of hours.
    F.E.A.R. 3 is a very good FPS with everything in the F.E.A.R. good.
    For fans of the universe and enthusiasts of cooperative play, the title is worth attention.

    Not so scary, not so climatic as the previous two parts. But the story of two small brothers was interesting for me and gameplay was simply fine.

It wasn't excruciatingly bad, but I would avoid it if you're not a completionist of the series. Probably the strongest points are the challenges and the co-op mode, but after completing the story byEh, so bad compared to the first two games...     Not even scary, just generic FPS, with minor changes in gameplay.
    A decent one, but weakest comparing to other ones.

    I was one of the people that actually liked F.E.A.R. 3, I liked the story and the characters a lot. I also like the mood the game sets. Multiplayer isn't good at all though, its very boring playing with a friend. The gun play in this game is very satisfying too. Overall F.E.A.R. 3 is a really good game.

    Fear 3 is far worse than its predecessors, but still remains somewhat enjoyable throughout. It is not nearly as scary and feels a bit random in the story at times.

    A pure Call of duty clone. Bad design and shameful to its predecessors which where great games. This one has almost nothing in common except the continuation of the story which is also bad... But its kinda an OK game to play. If you like The old MW1 and 2 you would enjoy this. its like a Horror like MW game.

    Couldnt play FEAR 1 or 2 due to technical issues on my PC, so F3AR was my first and sole entry in the series. Overall its an OK game when played from Pointman's perspective, shamefully you cant play as Fettel when you first start the game, you can only play the campaign as him after you finish it with Pointman which is quite stupid choice from developers since levels will be the same andCouldnt play FEAR 1 or 2 due to technical issues on my PC, so F3AR was my first and sole entry in the series.     As FPS gaming go, the mechanics are solid enough in FEAR 3, shooting feels precise and mostly satisfying if a little weightless similiar to Call of Duty gunfeel. Most of them feel powerful enough, just for the shotgun which lacks punch and takes 2 or 3 shots up close to kill someone with it. Levels are very linear with nothing really special in their design. Atleast theres few sections where you get to pilot powerarmor and mechs in which youre near unstoppable, but other games have done it better in that area aswell. At times game likes to throw a few overpowered enemies at you which make you adapt and think of new ways to take them down, you'll die a few times but once you figure it out theyre beatable without much struggle.

    Story wise game has few cool and interesting moments linked to the brothers, but all and all nothing that memorable, its just there to compliment action and chaos in the world. Also the game tries to be scary, but just doesnt succeed at it, creepiest thing in whole game is one invisible monster coming after you in later levels, but just his disturbing design, not his presence.

    In the end its a decent action FPS ride in which you can feel like an unstoppable bada$$ when youre using the bullert time, atleast most of the time. Got nothing else to play and find F3AR on the cheaper side maybe give it a go. Just turn off V Sync or use adaptive v sync to avoid lagg and slow down.    … Expand

    Fear 3 is just good shooter – more thriller than horror game. Duels are almost perfect so you'll be satisfied with them even when they are the only contents this game offers. [Issue#207]
