Aug 19, 20161) The graphics are AMAZING 2) The fighting is really fun 3) I love the fact that the moment that I leave the safety of my camp, any animal or enemy tribesmen that can kill me, will try and kill me. This to me, adds to the whole living in the year 10,000 BC where just surviving the day is a huge victory . For example I may be walking past a mammoth

Mar 17, 2016I have been playing for awhile now and I am enjoying it, however it does get a bit boring as time goes on. There are no real challengers or surprises. Its the same as the other Far Cry series but without the guns

Jan 17, 2017Ubisoft does with Far Cry Primal what it does best.
You get an open world, lot of running, interacting, new animals, crafting, challenging fight, stealth and so on.
I do very much like the previous FC3 and 4 games for exactly the same reason.
Is it worth the full price? Heck no.
Is it a good game? Yes -
Jan 3, 2018I'm think it isn't bad game :/ Can be better, of course. We must understand- it is not independent game, it is intermediate game.

Apr 2, 2018Fun Far Cry game play. Kick ass in the first couple of hours. Then it's hard to ignore that it exactly like the other games but a different skin. Great while it lasted. Too bad it didn't last long. Story is poop. Graphics are OK. New to Far Cry? Try. Not? Don't bother.

Jun 6, 2021The game looks great even in 2021, but boring quests and the lack of a main story are very bad for this game. Well-designed nature, quite memorable characters, nice graphics and excellent performance. All this pales before you get bored of the game very quickly.

Jun 13, 2017Looks flashy but has little to offer that you haven't seen before. Basically a re-skinned version of Far Cry 3/4. Boring to the bone once you get the hang of it. Everything is confusing, the difficulty is terribly unbalanced, visuals can be an eyesore. Basically, I don't think this is worth the money unless you get it for the price of a cheap DLC.

Jun 2, 2017This game is okay. The story is god awful. The only reason I rate it THIS high was the always great gameplay. But it saves it just barley. The story is still bad and horrible.

Mar 28, 2019A different Far Cry and with good ideas, but with a decaffeinated tone.
To each new Far Cry, the story will get worse. In this case we have a plot that works and very simple, but this is uninteresting and not engaging.
A too simplified gameplay in which you do not suffer to survive, with bad and too repetitive melee combat. -

May 12, 2020What seems to be the perfect Blend of type and setting turns out to be the most disheartening bugfest imagenable, Do NOT play Survival Mode, it has bugs designed to make you rip your head of.

PC PowerPlayApr 7, 2016The hackneyed story doesn't detract from the thrilling world and new challenges of 10,000BC. [Issue#249, p.45]

Apr 3, 2016There is a seed of a fascinating game hidden somewhere in Far Cry: Primal, but, I’m afraid, someone else will have to find it and grow it.

Game World Navigator MagazineMar 14, 2016Primitive gameplay cycle of Far Cry, placed in primitive world, suddenly starts to make sense, and even story doesn’t feel as barebones and perfunctory as usual. Here, you’re not playing as a skinny frat boy who suddenly discovers a talent for killing hardened soldiers but ultimately just wants to get back to civilization – you’re a hunter who simply wants to become respectable leader of his tribe with a personal luxury cave.
