It's a very simplistic arcady fishing game. There is an extremely light "story" that can be completed in around 3 hours total.

Pacing and balance feels off. There is no difference between the first tutorial fish you catch and the last legendary fish in the game, other than a different sprite. Every location feels and plays exactly like the last, with minor visual differences. But the gameplay is repeated exactly. The quest and delivery system is flawed, since they seem randomly generated and endless, it doesn't feel rewarding doing or completing them since there is no payoff in terms of NPC involvement, unique rewards, etc. Speaking of NPCs, there is a town with some NPCs but they feel like placeholder. No dialogue, story, or involvement. You have your shops and 3 guys asking to pick up the underwater spawns and that's it, lame.

All the lake contents refresh when you enter/leave the water.. so you end up hopping in and out of the lake constantly until the game spawns the specific fish in the specific colour that you need. Feels very poorly thought out. The fishing mechanic itself is fine. You pick your gear, cast your line, and fish will bite near the bait. Click space in the correct zone until the fish has no HP left and then spam space to reel in. I don't like that you have to spam space for reeling in, I would prefer being able to hold it instead. The writing/story is written in poorly worded English with attempted humour, fell completely flat for me. I didn't encounter any major issues in terms of bugs/performance, it works.
