    Creatively, morally, and technically bankrupt. Bethesda bought one of the most creative narrative game IP's in history and turned it into a broken predatory virtual crack distribution center. This overt addictive psychological practices designed into this "game" are unethical and immoral, and given time will be illegal as well.     The game doesn't work at all. After waiting quite a bit of time for it to download, it's 76 GB!, I went to play it.     Well, nope!
    The game doesn't work at all.
    After waiting quite a bit of time for it to download, it's 76 GB!, I went to play it.
    The first time I started it, it wanted me to create a Bethesda.net account. I already had one, so I figured I'd use that.
    Problem one: I use a 32 character randomly generated password for the account, but Fallout 76 doesn't let me copy+paste the password from my password manager.
    So, I had to change my password to something I can more easily type.
    After this it wouldn't associate my Xbox account with the Bethesda account, so it wouldn't let me log in.
    Also, it doesn't give you any way to close the game, so I had to force quit it.
    Second try, it no longer complains about the login! Success!
    Oh, wait, now it says there's no servers in my region.
    Uh... Are there really that many people playing this?
    No matter, I'll try again latter.
    Later: same issue.
    Never actually managed to login to the game, even after spending several hours trying different options. I even installed a VPN and connected to several different countries.
    Nothing worked.
    Oh well.
    In the end I did find a solution for the error, I uninstalled Fallout 76.    … Expand

    I’m a huge Fallout fan, didn’t play much of 1 and 2 (only as a kid) but spent hundreds of hours in 3, NV and 4. All of them had something great, which I cannot say about 76.

    Fallout 76 is a complete disgrace for the series and has nothing to do with the rest of the fallout games. I will not waste my time on writing why is it bad because you have critics reviews for that, I will just    I’m a huge Fallout fan, didn’t play much of 1 and 2 (only as a kid) but spent hundreds of hours in 3, NV and 4.     People even if you love the universe and a fan it does not cancel the fact that the company just cheated everyone selling not a game, but a piece of **** for a full price AAAA games, I think if you in the movie after you bought a ticket to show you a movie ready for 20% you're not gonna like it no matter how much of a fan you are.

    What was added: more cashgrabs.
    What was not added: enjoyable bug-less gameplay. Trying to love this game since its release. The concept is good - but gods! how bad the execution is! Stay away from this game. Even if it would be the last multiplayer-only game in the world - just stay away. This review is a carbon copy of my Fallout 76    Quite a time passed since game's release.

Cette extension qui aurait du être dans le jeu de base ne se retrouve que 1 an et demi plus tard dans un jeu au lancement le plus catastrophique du monde du jeux vidéo ! La sortie de cette extension devait être un renouveau pour Fallout 76, mais au final le jeu est toujours buggé et on sent que Bethesda lâche de plus en plus la barre...Que dire de cette extension de Fallout 76 ?     I want Fallout weapon pack! THE REAL GUNS baby, the missing ones. F3 + FNV weapons pack. Also add them in Fallout 4(very important), don't let us down, Todd!     Having played, and liked, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas (with all dlc), also started Fallout 4 but no liked it (lack of "charism", "commun" characters, **** dialogues.. ). I don't understand the bashing of Fallout 76, it has the great immersion of Fallout, with all things which missed before, a deep crafting, all the loots are useful now, the rpg/survival progression is excellent, greatHaving played, and liked, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas (with all dlc), also started Fallout 4 but no liked it (lack of "charism", "commun" characters, **** dialogues.. ). I don't understand the bashing of Fallout 76, it has the great immersion of Fallout, with all things which missed before, a deep crafting, all the loots are useful now, the rpg/survival progression is excellent, great quests, PNJ are often "funny", the multi is an awesome addition (aids, trades, fights), the Fallout world is really alive now, with frequent events (rescue a nuclear plant, beat a big monster with other players...). The PVP system is also great, for example, if a high level player attack you, don't reply and the damage will be very low, so you can escape, if he kill you, he's marked as "criminal" and other players could attack him ;) otherwise, you can fight as usual, the good thing is, when a lower level try to catch your "treasure" you can shoot him a bit, to keep the place ;)
    If course, it would have been even better with an Obsidian script ;)    … Expand

    -Less errors & bugs & crashes
    -more FPS
    -lots of new content
    -A little better graphics
    -Microtransactions :/

With a massive install of over 35GB this updated is larger than many games and the amount of new content it features is impressive.

    New locales, missions, weapons, and characters are introduced to the game as well as several improvements which greatly improves the game in most phases.

    Two new factions, The Raiders and Settlers are introduced and through a series of missions and optional side quests they offer; players will be able to decide which faction they wish to align with before they embark on the final main mission for the game.

    The new factions offer very detailed bases which not only give players ample exploration space but also more opportunities to use the classic dialogue trees which allows players to select their responses and actions and also affects their reputation and how various characters respond. Aggressive responses are likely to start a fight or make people wary of you while more balanced and helpful responses will increase your standing with them.

    There are all sorts of new Legendary creatures and weapons and players will be able to earn special currency to purchase new Legendary items.

    Crafting is still a huge part of the game as being able to make and fix weapons, food, armor, and ammunition is vital to surviving the Wastelands.

    There are also several other missions such as the introduction of a new bar whose owner will have several missions for you as well as a murky past.

    Players can now get an Ally who will help them out and go on various missions. One is an Astronaut who depending on choices you make can become a romantic interest and adds a bit more depth to the overall game and a nice break between the battles and travel over the vast gaming area.

    Fallout 76 had more than a few issues at launch and has endured much criticism from the gaming community as a result. The developers have continued to put out new content and fixes for the game and with the arrival of the free Wastelanders update; the game is shaping up more and more to what players had hoped it would be.

    Being able to play solo or with other players allows for versatility and I actually saw a server wait que for the first time which shows that more people are coming in to try the game. Players must have the base game in order to play Wastelanders but it can be found under $20.00 and since the game does not really have an end; is ideal for people with time to play. Having completed the new main quests; I still have countless options such as doing side quests, taking on a cult, launching a Nuke, hunting creatures, and taking on a mysterious cult as just a few of the many remaining options available to me.

    I really enjoyed this new update as I became immersed into the new missions and storylines and found myself looking forward to playing each day. I did many quests on my own and had friends join in when I needed more firepower on a quest, crafting help, or general company.

    There are still various glitches that arise and I found a few in character animations such as odd twitching and players clipping into objects. Considering the update was completed while the team was working remotely and arrived only one week after the planned launch is impressive and helped me overlook the issues as I really enjoyed the new missions, locales, and updates as it was almost an entirely new game in various aspects and more in line with what we expected at launch.

    Wastelanders is a very impressive step forward for the game and hopefully more fantastic content like this will be coming in the future.

Este DLC gratuito aparte de traer un montón de nuevas misiones y personajes, también solucionó errores visuales muy molestos que ya eran cotidianos en la versiónAñade mucho contenido y modifica gran parte del juego base. Se avanza en el contexto histórico un año y los NPC humanos regresan a Appalachia, tras confirmar que es un lugar habitable, sin embargo desconocen la plaga calcinada. Este DLC gratuito aparte de traer un montón de nuevas misiones y personajes, también solucionó errores visuales muy molestos que ya eran cotidianos en la versión base de Fallout 76.

    Played on day one and beta. Was annoying.. but after one year later i logged in the game again.
    Gotta be honest, i`m a HUGE fan of Fallout 4 and 3. Was very dissapointed at launch, but now, with wastelanders, rocking 100+hours already and can`t even scratch the surface of secrets and side missions, wich is what i liked in fallout 4!

    Jouant sur Fallout depuis 1997 et sur 76 depuis le 1er jour, je trouve que cette extensions (et celles qui vont suivre) ajoutent encore plus de profondeur à cet univers déjà riche.
    Certes, il y a eu pas mal de bugs et énormément ont été corrigé, depuis presque 2 ans.
    Mais les bugs sont aussi le propre de la licence Fallout, les 1ers en ayant eu à foison sans pour autant décourager les    Jouant sur Fallout depuis 1997 et sur 76 depuis le 1er jour, je trouve que cette extensions (et celles qui vont suivre) ajoutent encore plus de profondeur à cet univers déjà riche.
    Certes, il y a eu pas mal de bugs et énormément ont été corrigé, depuis presque 2 ans.
    Mais les bugs sont aussi le propre de la licence Fallout, les 1ers en ayant eu à foison sans pour autant décourager les vrais fans.
    J'ai passé, environ, 800h sur ce jeu et, à moins de "Rusher" les quêtes principales, il est impossible de s'ennuyer au bout de quelques heures, comme sur d'autres jeux (TOW, 50h de durée de vie, par exemple).    … Expand

    After wastelanders, i loved this game. this game is really fun. events, quests are enjoyable. The atmosphere is very nice.

    But there are little bugs and game uses so much VRAM. Fps drops a few hours after entering the game fps, but gets better after restarting. Still i love this game so much.

    With recent updates like wastelanders, this game has seen significant improvement. However, this game still has a long road ahead until it becomes at least 1 7/10. If you really like fallout and are okay with some - by far not has many at launch - bugs, I would recommend this game on sale. Other than that, wait some more. Personally, I find it okay.

    FO76 osnt have much in terms of competition, Ark - 7 Days to Die - Conen Exiles FO76 WL (WasteLanders) has NPCS / Story / Quests / Events among many other things over Games like Ark and many others in the Genra the 1 downside is ... Not as large    This is probly one of the best IF not the best Online Survivor RPG out there currently

    Надоедает через 184ч дальше просто нечего делать обновление отличное я бы не покупал, fallout 76 но обновление отличное все изменилось но игре есть к чему стремится.

    Плюсы -Интересный мир -Строительство -Апгрейд оружие -Квесты сюжеты секретки . -Прокачка персонажа -Мир интересно изучать Минус -Когда проходишь игру и уже все знаешь не интересно как люди играют по 200ч? -Донат    Надоедает через 184ч дальше просто нечего делать обновление отличное я бы не покупал, fallout 76 но обновление отличное все изменилось но игре есть к чему стремится.

This Wastelander's Expansion was the sole reason I purchased the game and made it well worth playing back in 2020. Fallout 76 is now in 2023 too much of    The ONLY Good Part of Fallout 76 is this Expansion that Bethesda added: NPC's with Stories and Quests!

    ok i have no idea why there are 41 positives and people giving it a ten out of ten. They added npcs into the game, and everyone is going crazy like omg the game is gonna be good. npcs are the minimum bethesda shouldnt even try going without npcs in the first place. The game still have a hell lot of bugs and crashes, the fallout first thing is still up there, and the game is still not goodok i have no idea why there are 41 positives and people giving it a ten out of ten. They added npcs into the game, and everyone is going crazy like omg the game is gonna be good. npcs are the minimum bethesda shouldnt even try going without npcs in the first place.     Base building is extremely glitchy and will often result in frustration with their system - one that is needlessly bloated and struggles to keep up with itself.

    Quests are pretty much all filler content with no creative writing to them.

    The Fallout 76 Wastelanders update might be the salvation of the game. The free expansion finally adds NPCs to the world and adds a lot of new content. Bethesda also improved the graphics, in particular the lighting system. It's still not technically perfect however and the new additions come with their own problems. Still, the Wastelanders update is a giant leap for Fallout 76.

    So, the issues I had were just minor nuisances really. But the landscape is gorgeous despite the horrors that can be found within, the soundtrack is amazing, and the stories of those inhabitants that have survived, gives the wasteland and sense of hope. The main story quests are generally enjoyable and there was the feeling that they all had a purpose. There is still a grinding element to the side quests though, as you try and level up, but the goal of finding that treasure pushes you towards the end zone.

    Fallout 76: Wastelanders is a clear improvement on Fallout 76, with NPC's actually making West Virginia feel like it's worth exploring and doing things in for the first time since the game was released. The new quests are entertaining and engaging, featuring characters that are genuinely enjoyable to interact with and will put a smile on your face. Sadly, these are still too far apart and the core problems that held Fallout 76 back remain, particularly as a new character has to play the interminably dull and lifeless original content just to experience what was brought in with Wastelanders. It also doesn't help that this is riddled with bugs and the game has a number of issues with the mechanics that are only fixed by microtransactions and a subscription service.
