Fading Serenades is a charming delivery game you can finish in an evening, leaving you wanting more. By the time you get to the end, it feels abrupt, and a little rushed, as the quests also become slightly repetitive. You're left wondering more about the neighbors you spent the game delivering for. Still, for a solo-developed game, it's very impressive. If you're looking for something short, cozy, and enjoy the delivery gameplay loop, Fading Serenades serves it well.

Fading Serenades is a nice, chill courier game on a nice little island where life is pretty laid back. But there are hints of something more sinister that the story explores in a bit of detail, but not enough. The game can get repetitive quite quickly, but it looks and sounds good.

Fading Serenades is a cute and cosy delivery game, but the repetitive gameplay and constant back and forth across the map made me want to return it to sender.

Within this brief but pleasant game is an adventure that delivers an enjoyable experience. With those long, dark nights now rolling in, I can’t think of a better way to spend an evening than traversing Clifford Island.
