    This is one of the few VR games that truly embrace the medium to its full extent, i.e. offering a true roomscale experience. You never teleport or move artificiallly in this game - all movement is your own body movement. If you don't believe me, try the free demo!

    One of the cleverest VR games I've seen. Yes, you need 2mx2m playspace, but that's all you need. For that, you'll feel like you're playing in a massive, sprawling temple with huge rooms, vertiginous drops, crushing ceilings, etc.

    The graphics are great, the sound immersive, the puzzles engaging but not stupid. And it's all the work of a single indie dev.     And it's all the work of a single indie dev. But don't let that put you off! Unlike a lot of indie games, it feels really polished and utterly fleshed out. Clearly, it's been a labour of love, and not just a case of 'ooh, I have a really cool idea for a game mechanic, let's throw something together, release it and cash in'. If this game had come from a mid-size studio it could not look or play any better. With a real advertising budget (rather than a non-existent one) it would have been a smash hit.

    It's really reasonably priced, it's very accessible, and best of all, there is a free demo available so you can try it out without having to part with your cash.

    This is the model for the kind of quality that non-AAA games can be. I really hope it does well.    … Expand

    Eye of the Temple is the perfect game to feel like Indiana Jones. Traveling to a remote corner of the world, whip in hand, solving puzzles, avoiding traps, riding a wagon, balancing on the void... And all with real movement in an immovable 2x2 space. The mechanics convey the real sensation that we are moving in a much larger space, and the result is spectacular.

    Eye of the Temple is a rare VR gem that caught me by surprise. Its natural and immersive room-scale movement system, rewarding puzzle sections, and overall scale are excellent. If you own a VR headset and have enough room to play, Eye of the Temple successfully proves the potential of VR.

    Eye of the Temple feels like it goes back to VR’s roots in a way, the gameplay is simple but very effective, always keeping you thinking and on your toes. The whole experience achieves that one sort after quality in VR, immersion, where you become so focused on what you’re doing it’s easy to forget that the temple is actually your living room. Just be careful not to topple over, that can happen!
