The pixel graphics in the game are good enough; but that’s all they really are, not bad, but nothing great either. The assets and textures allThe pixel graphics in the game are good enough; but that’s all they really are, not bad, but nothing great either. The assets and textures all follow the same style, which is nice.

I found the music to be quite good. It wasn’t too repetitive, and it suit the style and atmosphere of the game well.

There isn’t really any story in the game, the basic idea is that you have to escape this evil maze and fight monsters along the way, but that’s it.

This game falls under the ARPG banner, but don’t expect exciting action if you play it. The combat gets really boring, really fast with the exception of the final boss. All of the mini-bosses are static mobs, so fighting them involves moving next to them and spamming your attack and spells of choice until they die.

Closer to the end of the game, you get to the point where no mobs or mini-bosses can defeat you, so you just walk around spamming attack and killing everything without any care in the world. The final boss fight is actually the only fun part of this game, as the boss isn’t static and has an actual move set which you need to learn.

Ultimately, I found the game to be really boring with the exception of the previously mentioned final boss fight. But is the boring build-up worth that one enjoyable fight at the end? In my opinion, if the game was free it would be, but it’s not.
