Dec 10, 2024Overall, Everholm is a slightly spooky farming sim packed full of content and adorableness. I’ve already dedicated many hours to decorating my isometric homestead and solving mysteries in this beautifully crafted environment, and I’m not done yet.

Dec 9, 2024I’ve spent over twenty hours with Everholm, and I know I’ve only scratched the surface of what there is to see. I like the aesthetic vibe of Everholm, and the gameplay has an enticing daily routine cycle that will be a hit with fans of Stardew Valley. The supernatural mystery failed to hook me in, but the tasks were so enjoyable that it wasn’t as big of a deal as it should have been. But there are quite a few issues that sometimes break the immersion. That said, the developers are already addressing some of these issues, which is great to see, as Everholm definitely has the fundamental ingredients of an excellent farming sim.

Nov 26, 2024Everholm succeeds at delivering a cozy farming sim that involves solving a mystery. You have fun configuring your farm while building relationships with the town’s residents and exploring dungeons, but you will spend more time farming and exploring than solving the mystery since it has a slow pace. There aren’t many differences from other popular games in the genre as well. But if you know what you are getting into, Everholm delivers a solid experience.
