Jan 25, 2020A retro, fun VR game in means of ways with creative level design, maps, and vast load of content and freedom. You're able to use a vast set of cheats if you feel the need, multiple difficulties, and a nice selection of challenges with a pleasantly thought out story. Not perfect but polished and a real heafty game.

Jan 24, 2020Smooth first person shooter that combines stealth, action, and a pretty involving story line. This game tries to initiate with the in game speech recognition; being able to say "freeze" is damn cool, isn't perfect but works well. Great game with loads of replayability and polish.

Jan 24, 2020Cool game for the combat and stealth. With voice commands you are able to stop your enemy dead in their tracks, a cool addition that should be developed further. A fun immersive game!

Oct 7, 2020Espire 1: VR Operative is not a mechanically perfect game. Sometimes, the controls can feel a little clumsy in the way that many VR games tend to do, and I wish you could find more handgun ammo to make that class of weapons more useful. With so many VR titles that feel like glorified tech demos Espire 1: VR Operative has some real meat to it, and for most of your time in the game, you will feel like some sort of shadowy, robotic badass. Use all of the mobility and stealth at your disposal, and you will find that Espire 1 sets a pretty high bar for what a VR game can be.

Dec 30, 2019Espire 1: VR Operative is good for those new to VR wanting to experience what the platform has to offer without getting easily motion sick. But for those wanting to play a serious stealth title with incredible gameplay mechanics, the unmistakable bugs and annoying enemies may make you want to put down the controllers.

Dec 14, 2019Espire 1's jank gets in the way of the gameplay far too often to be really enjoyable. There's better action shooters in VR certainly, but I guess we'll just have to keep waiting for a good stealth one.
